This was a cute store - a lot of nice things to give as gifts and get for yourself as well. First…read morething we saw were the lotions up front, actually they were shea butter for the body. They had different ones with names like Whoopie Cream, Sweet Tea or Pink Moon to name a few. There are testers available so you can take a whiff - some of them smell really, really good. They also have bath soaps that are locally made and shea butter soaps as well (lavender, jasmine and clementine to name a few) - with smells like those, everyone might want to get one. I found myself looking at a lot of items in the store as I wished I could have bought everything. In the back they had sleepwear with cute sayings - they looked like mini-bags, but once opened it is sleepwear. There is even a section selling items for toddlers or babies (can't remember). Employees were very helpful. Definitely want to come back to this spot.

Before I begin this review...I just want to say I AM *NOT* PREGNANT!…read more But like most women of any age, adorably cute baby crap makes us all mushy and coo. Molly's Meanderings is no different. The majority of the store has nice high end, moderately boho chic clothing...but in the back right hand corner, is a baby corner where my mother in law and I spend nearly an hour cooing over every little thing. Yeah. We're ridiculous. OK, so we weren't going to buy (although my MIL did give me some pointed remarks about procreation), but we were there for so long and cooed so loudly that I was rather surprised that no sales staff came by to check up on us. I mean, really, we sounded like a pack of gestating elephants. We were REALLY loud. And touched everything (and personally, I thought everything was priced a little higher then expected...and by "a little higher" I'm being generous). Anyhoo...the store is cute, packed with stuff, but it's clear that the staff is deaf and blind. Eh.

Wear it Well is a special place mainly for the women who run and work there. Located in the heart…read moreof downtown Bethesda, this store offers middle to high-end brands in casual and work lines. Plenty of Michael Stars, 525 America Sweaters, and some other more unusual very unique boutique lines. A small store with extremely well-selected inventory. But the highlight of Wear it Well, which I feel is best for women 30 and up, is the longtime owners and employees. I walked in today, told them I wanted to toss my wardrobe out the window, and they proceeded (not overselling, not oversolicitously) to help me come up with some great ideas, good combinations, and a host of things I wouldn't have picked out b/c I'm stuck in my own dull clothing groove. They really worked with me to ensure that I found some special things, and I don't think I'll toss the clothes I bought out the window with the others b/c they do push my proverbial envelope. That's what I needed. When the economy hits hard...and even when it doesn't...I make an extra effort to shop locally. Wear it Well is the kind of carefully merchandised, very well-run boutique that will earn your loyalty. Before you drive to the mall, walk down the street and visit these great gals. Watch out...they talked me into buying an absurdly expensive belt even though I don't wear belts. You know, I think it will become one of my favorite purchases ever! Plus, it's so pricey, I'm going to wear it to sleep every night no matter what.
