When I walked in there were sales racks everywhere, I felt like I had walked in a Marshall's or Ross. Spotted a few associates, no one spoke or even attempted to make eye contact with me. I continued to walk around for several minutes, still nothing. Eventually, picked up a cute purple cocktail dress and still no one approached me or acted like they were interested in making a sale. Oh well. Would've at least like to try the dress on but I don't patronize places where I am clearly not welcome. Continued to walk around still nothing, so I left vowing to never go back. I shop at upscale department stores, namely Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, all the time and have never experienced anything like this. Definitely will not be returning to Saks Jandel ever again. Back then the store was located in the basement floor of Maza Gallery but several years ago moved to The Shops at Wisconsin Place. Tabandeh is an artist herself, and you can see her artistic vision in every aspect of the store. It is a treat just to visit. She has curated a collection of artists whose designs are unique, and beautiful and many aren't often seen in other stores. I love everything about this store, and that includes the people. They excel at understanding you and your preferences and if they think the time is right, they might steer you to something that is even better for your color, and personality, and shape. I have called their customer service number multiple times and filed multiple claims. However, Bloomingdale's will not issue a refund or a replacement because they say that since the package arrived, there's nothing they can do. The other thing they can't do is provide proof that all three pairs of shoes ended up being shipped. Their system is horrible because you can't actually talk to the people who review the claims. If I could give them zero stars, I would. p. s. If you want an actual person to review your claim with Bloomingdale's and not a bot, you have to call their number. If you submit it online, it will just be auto reviewed by a bot.

I called their customer service about it. The wait was not too long. The customer service representative could not find anything about it. He seemed annoyed by my request. He gave me the phone number of a third party company that handles their credit card transaction to confirm whether the transaction went through or was a hold. He was ready to hang up to get rid of me. Why should I call a different company? Anyways, I did it, after being on hold for 20 minutes, the other representative was just as clueless, did not ask for any information. Once I told him it was an amex card, he told me they only handle visa and mastercard transactions. Now I need to call Saks again to find the subsidiary that handles their amex transaction?! What a horrible waste of time, and inefficient workflow. They should have audit logs in place for their representatives to access and understand what went wrong. They just had zero explanation and wasted my time for nothing.
