    Butter Chicken

Everything went well! I had never been to this restaurant before, but I love Indian food so much. It's literally my favorite food. I was glad I finally got to try it at this location and restaurant. This location was closest to me and I had seen it before but just never been. They are a little bit more expensive than my regular Indian restaurants that I go to, but the place is very nice and also in the heart of Winter Park so I can understand why their prices are a little bit higher. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The decorations are very nice in the restaurant. It isn't huge by any means, but it is a small little restaurant in that area. There are a few different things that are inside that little area that you walk into it almost looks like you're walking into a mall, but there are a few shops and then the restaurant is down at the end and what looks like a little cul-de-sac. They do have some outdoor seating which technically isn't outdoor, but it's like out the restaurant inside that cul-de-sac area thing. I was very thankful to Yelp for allowing us to do the elite experience with Tabla Indian restaurant. The butter chicken was good and tender. The sauce was so flavorful and the rice was cooked very nicely. I love basmati rice so much so the fact that it was cooked to perfection was so great! I may be back if I come to this area.

Stopped in for dinner and got seated instantly. The staff were so kind and attentive. We ordered the korma with lamb and it was very flavorful. We got medium spice so it definitely had an extra kicked to it, which we enjoyed. The restaurant is cozy and the music wasn't too loud through the speakers. It's located on park ave so finding parking can be a bit tricky.

The winter park location is so adorable. Tucked into Winter Park, you have to walk past a koi fish pond in the ground, then spot the big tree inside and you're there. The ambiance inside is cute as well because it's one large window making it feel like the space is all one. My favorite was the Chicken Tikka Masala, but everything was very delicious. The garlic naan was warm and fresh. I also had the butter chicken which was well done and tasted like the classic flavors we love. Their presentation of the dishes were pretty, and they offer a lot of food. It's absolutely worth the price.

Oh helllooooo butter chicken! With the Naan bread to dip oh my goodness it is GOOD. My son loved the cilantro jasmine rice and was so impressed with the giant twisty tree outside the doors. We sat inside as it was too hot to sit outside but the gentle tunes and wine glass water at your table made it feel so fancy! We really loved the red curry chicken. I had to try the carrot soufflé as that seemed so unique on the desert menu. It was really surprising as it was more savory than sweet. Very interesting as it is just carrots and condensed milk garnished with nuts. I would love to come back for lunch some time and try some new things!

Visited Tabla in Winter Park for the first time! The restaurant is tucked away from the street in a little enclave which is nice. I went for early lunch so the restaurant was not busy. I had the vegetable samosas to start, these were good, perfect to share. For the main I had the butter chicken and garlic naan bread, both were delicious and portion was large. I had plenty to take home for another meal. I also tried the mango drink, this was too sweet for me but tasted yummy. One or two sips is all that is needed unless you are a lover of sweet smoothie type drinks. Service was prompt and friendly, would definitely return to try other dishes!

The food is always amazing. I love this location as is intimate and beautifully decorated. It's a great date spot . Parking is available for free on the street. Service is always friendly, quick and knowledgeable.

Decided to stop by this spot when a friend and I were exploring Downtown Winter Park and we spotted this menu on display from the street. Decided to check out this business plaza/mini mall and saw this stunning beautiful restaurant in the mini mall. Service was spectacular, outstanding. Our server was so nice, he saw me taking pictures (as I always do for the Yelp) and he stepped aside and insisted on taking pics for me even though I didn't even ask. He was so friendly and genuinely happy, which I really admired. I even asked if he's the owner, which he responded he wasn't, but I just guessed since he took so much pride in his job and ran the place really well. Food was amazing, everything hit the spot just right! We ordered the Goat Biryani & Lamb Keema Naan, both were absolutely perfect! Ambiance - very fancy, high-end and prices were fair for this quality Indian food/portion sizes/overall dining experience. I loved this place so much, I'll definitely return if I'm ever in the area again! The only catch here was this is downtown so the parking situation can be difficult, but there's some around as long as you're willing to walk a little.

The restaurant is tucked away on park ave and has this gorgeous lit tree at the entrance. The menu offers Indian dishes as well as other Asian dishes. We ordered the chaat platter since we were curious to try all the chaats and loved them all. Our favorite was the pani puri. We also ordered naan, butter chicken, and the home style curry. Spice level was perfect for us and the naan is delicious for sopping up the sauce. Staff were extremely friendly and took time to explain the chaat platter to us.

Tabla Indian Restaurant Winter Park is absolutely to die for. From their Garlic Naan to their butter chicken. It is some of the best Indian food around. Impeccable service with an ambiance of nostalgia. Growing up I loved the smell of curry and the infamous dishes that came out whenever my friend's mom would cook Indian food. The Mango Lassi cools down the mild spicy taste of the Butter Chicken. Tje Garlic Naan is perfect for dipping into the sauce of the Butter Chicken and the rice is unmatched. Lovely decor inside and out. Also very spacious seating arrangements.

Was here for lunch a while back this year. Had a very pleasant experience and quite uneasy that I haven't done this review sooner. I'm doing this now before I forget the name of my server, Ansari. He made such an impression by explaining the different kinds of chicken on the lunch menu - korma, palak, etc. I ordered the Korma. Since it was on the lunch menu, it came with all the sides on one nice big platter. A complete meal including dessert. Fair price for such a generous serving. Very satisfying meal. Interior was nicely decorated leaning towards the high end which is appropriate coz it's in Winter Park downtown. Definitely on my list of places to return to whenever I'm in WP which is about twice a month. I highly recommend.

Great service, atmosphere and food! Staff was super attentive and kind and our food was amazing. Really pleased with this spot and would love to come back!

The restaurant is located in a cute little alley way alongside Park Ave. I love the koi ponds leading up the restaurant. We were greeted pretty quickly and seated as we had a reservation on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't packed yet which was nice! Our server, Jose, was really kind! He let us know that he was the only server so to be patient with him as he was servicing a few tables. We were in no rush anyways but we really appreciated the communication! And to our surprise, service was really quick! Jose was really holding down the restaurant and serving multiple tables quickly. We did not wait long at all for our apps - we ordered vegetable samosas and garlic naan bread which were so delicious! We also ordered the Mango Lassi and wow we loved it! We loved how the drink offered almost a pallet cleanser to offset the spiciness of the food. So good. We then ordered buttered chicken and paneer tika masala. YUM! Everything turned out amazing. We loved the food and the level of spice was perfect and not too overbearing. We did notice the restaurant getting busier and busier and when we left there was a line at the host stand! Poor Jose was working so hard but we really appreciated how he made our experience a true pleasure. Thank you, Jose!

The Tabla location in Winter Park on Park Avenue has one of the best lunch specials going on right now!! I wished I stopped by sooner since I literally work around the corner. I got the chicken tikka masala platter and it was absolutely delicious! The serving size was way more than I expected. Definitely will make it as a weekly lunch spot from now on on.

The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the salmon was tender and the presentation with the orchid and lemon slice made it look almost too pretty to eat. The pad thai had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little tangy. The fried rice was simple but really good, with tender pieces of chicken and vegetables mixed throughout. We also tried a few stir fry dishes with chicken and beef that came with fresh vegetables and a flavorful garlic sauce. You could tell everything was made fresh and not just thrown together. We also started with a sampler appetizer plate that had spring rolls, dumplings, and coconut shrimp with a sweet chili dipping sauce. That was a great way to kick things off. Overall the whole meal felt fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was friendly and the environment made it a great spot to relax and enjoy dinner with friends. To eat, we started by splitting the chor muang dumplings. These were gorgeous purple dumplings, but I found that their flavor was very delicate. The wrapper was somehow both gummy and overly delicate and broke. They were okay, but definitely more of an aesthetic dish. Next, we got one of the specials, which was a small tart shell filled with raw tuna. This was good, but I felt that the sauce overpowered the delicate fish. For mains, I ended up ordering the kor moo yang (pork jowel). This was the star of the show, it was super tender and flavorful. The relish was barely necessary to be honest. I'd definitely order this again, or get it as an appetizer to split with a few people before the main. To drink, I was really surprised that none of their cocktails were modifiable considering that they have a full bar. They didn't have any cocktails that were speaking to me, so I ended up ordering a zero proof drink, the honey's passion, with a shot of vodka on the side to spike it. This was a good solution. I would probably not go to talay again for food because there are so many good Thai places here, and the food just didn't stand out, but I'd definitely hit the bar for some drinks if I had more time.
