This is our first pick for Indian in the area. Excellent variety of options and everything has always been delicious. The chai is delicious! The lassi is my favorite but they never have it included with the buffet anymore The service is fine for a buffet. The back area and the bathrooms are really grungy/grimy, and it leads me to believe that the kitchen is very dirty. I try not to think about it. Also, for the people who are not familiar- there is a little dish by the front register. We call it birdseed. It's a collection of herbs and little chocolates and you chew it and it's supposed to refresh your mouth and help with digestion after your meal. You spoon it into your hand and throw all of it into your mouth and chew. Maybe you won't like it, but definitely try it! It's a neat experience. read more

We had tried this place a few times before, and it was always just average. We recently went back after hearing that there was new management. We noticed a few changes, such as updated curtains and chairs. However, the hallway leading to the restroom was still cluttered, and the floor felt sticky. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. We visited on a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was empty, though they seemed to be getting more of takeout orders. We ordered the Veg Hakka Noodles, but they had a strong egg smell. I also ordered a masala chai and had to send it back.It was very pale and tasted mostly like milk, nothing like a traditional chai. We stopped by Curry Bowl for takeout and we were so impressed with everything! We got the Veg Samosas which were huge and full of flavor. The order comes with two large samosas. We also got the Chicken Tikka Masala which was fabulous! I wish we had gotten more as the sauce was flavorful and the chicken was great. The Chicken Tikka Masala wasn't spicy, so it would be a good choice if you are looking for minimal spiciness. We also got the Vegetable Biryani. It was tasty, but definitely had some spice to it. I am not a huge fan of spicy food, but I still really enjoyed it! The garlic naan was tender and had lots of garlic flavor. I loved the sauces that came with the meal (not sure if they came with the naan or what, but they were perfect for dipping the naan in!). Curry Bowl has a lunch buffet that we will definitely be back to try as it looks like there are lots of options on the buffet line. The service is so confused. They mis- delivered our orders. Its a very limited sitting space restaurant. Coming to food, I think they forgot to buy salt. There is no salt in any of our dishses, or may be they tuned in to many patron's tastes. The Manchow soup is the only item we liked. The stuffed mirchi is not what I expected, me coming from Andhra. But thier take on it also is not tatsty. The idly is undercooked. Dosa is ok. The egg biryani, what they call it, is some masala-less masala rice with boiled eggs. No taste at all. If you love authentic Indian cuisine, you find this a great spot. We came for dinner, so the buffet, which serves during lunchtime was not available. We tried a few a la cart items, mainly curry or vindaloo with vegetables, chicken, or lamb, which were accompanied with rice. I tried mine hot, spicy hot, and learned my lesson, maybe not too hot next time, but it was very delicious. We came in for a work lunch and had a good experience! A few members of our group opted for the lunch buffet and liked it. We got garlic naan for the table and it was perfect. For my meal, I got the mild chicken vindaloo and a side of yogurt. The chicken was tender and the sauce was so incredibly flavorful with rich seasonings. Everyone enjoyed their food. This place was fantastic. The food was delicious as I went back to the buffet multiple times. I loved the fact that there were so many vegetarian options. They also had some sort of drink to the left of buffet, and at first I didn't like it but once I added some sugar... I LOVED IT!!! It was like a little espresso, but it wasn't. I happen to be an hour and half early for an appointment and decided to check out Curry Bowl. They have two options... the buffet or à la carte. The buffet looked good and fresh so I decided to go with that. They have a lot of options, 3 different types of rice, several types of chicken, tandoori chicken (a little spicy but not hot) and many other options too many to mention here. I tried a little of each, very flavorful, aromatic and it was absolutely delicious and so was the Gulab jamun (dessert). The staff was really friendly and helpful, the restaurant had a nice ambience, soft music in the background and it was clean too! Some of the best Indian food I've had in Central Florida! Really cute restaurant with insanely good food and friendly staff. Soooo...yeah. I've been hearing of this place and man! I am so glad I went. It's women owned! and the service is great (I'm all about customer service) I also had a bread (pictured) that had mashed potatoes in it. I forgot the name. We also had 2 desserts. One with carrots and the other were like small donut holes covered in syrup. Sooo good! My favorite was the one with shredded carrots. Don't knock it till you try it. Prices were also reasonable. We started with apps of chicken Tika, veggie samosa, egg roll (don't know why lol) and chicken 65. The Tika was very good and flavorful, samosa was good, well an egg roll is an egg roll but the chicken 65 was really good. It had some spice and great flavor, really enjoyed it. For dinner I got the chicken vindaloo very hot. Well it delivered the heat and great flavor. The cook brought me a dish to try called chicken chattaid, that dish was like a yellow curry with spices and the best dish of the night, enough heat to drain your nostrils and sweat on my bald head lol. Other dishes was butter chicken, mango chicken and forgot the 5th dish was. Overall we had a great time despite having to drive around the place due to I4 detour. Service was ok, she didn't understand us sometime but she was friendly. The gentleman who came out to our table was very nice. The food was great and I will be back here again. It was quite the feast, this restaurant is somewhat new to the area and by the looks of it, they're not going anywhere. We dined there on Jan 1st, great day to try a new place. They had all the staples you find in other Indian restaurants plus few South Indian goodies. My favorites were the stir-fried okra, chicken munchurian and chicken 65. No red meats were offered but i really didn't miss it. I am taking a star away for desserts. They offered gulab jamun (deep fried donuts dipped in syrup), rice pudding, carrot pudding (staple in India). Gulab jamun wasn't cooked all the way through and rice pudding wasn't sweet enough.
