A wonderful experience, with a large group of old friends, celebrating one we had just lost. Our waiter, Wilson, was beyond on top of it all! That's saying something with our crowd. Management had a place prepared for us and not a need went unmet. We have decided to make it a bi-annual reunion, at Table 100 beginning soon. Hopefully, we can always have Wilson! Terrible experience. Me and my friends went out for a nice dinner and were greeted with rude managers and discriminatory behavior. Two people from our party had ordered drinks and they got their ID's checked. The bar manager looked at the two boys and said "don't get too deep in those drinks". He took the ID's to the back and once he came back to the table he attempted to take the drinks away because our Oklahoma ID's say they are not used for real ID purposes. Which means they are not able to be used as a passport to travel. After my friend and I showed the manager our own ID's proving they say the same he then took their ID's to the back AGAIN. He did not come back until several minutes later and gave the ID's back to the boys without a word. No apology for his misunderstanding or attitude towards us. As if this wasn't enough for the night we were followed to the bathroom. We would go with one another or just by ourselves and each time there would be a manager or worker that followed and sat behind us or in front of the stall that waited for us to leave. Maybe look into ID scanners??? Very disappointing. read more

Very disappointed with this restaurant. I have been here several times and the food was always great.we ordered a fillet, kids chicken tenders, and a hamburger. Fillet was over cooked and tasted horrible, kids chicken tenders had way too much salt, and the hamburger was burnt. I brought it to my server's attention and he disregarded my concern. Coming in from out of town in business, we de cided to give Tabke 100 a try. We are SO GLAD we did. First of all, our server was a SUPERSTAR. When you go, ask for Deirdre for your server - she is world class and took such good care of us. She was warm and attentive, and we disn't want for anything the entire time we were there. Then there was the food...oh my goodness...everything we had was AMAZING! Pork Belly and Smoked Pork Meatballs was a standout, as well as the Deviled Eggs and French Onion Soup. Salads were great! Our entrees were SOOO yummy - Brisket was really tender and tasty, and the fish entrees were great as well. I flew in to Jackson and was able to check this off my list a few minutes after my flight landed. Table 100 is on my top restaurants list. The food is phenomenal and the service is exceptional. I started my meal with the Gulf Blue Crab Claws which were the main reason I was dining at Table 100. This is Mississippi, and let me tell you they did not skimp on this appetizer portion. I was content with the well seasoned crab claws and understand why they get rave reviews. For my entree, I flirted with getting the southern fried chicken or the fried catfish, but they are plentiful and delicious in many places throughout the South. I ordered the shrimp and grits which I had decided on weeks before my trip. What makes this dish unique is that it's served with turnip greens. The grits are surrounded by a ham hock jus and topped with turnip greens. The shrimp are wrapped in applewood bacon and placed on top of the greens. The shrimp are lightly drizzled with a smoked bbq sauce. I said all of this to say: Yum! Delicious! Yes! I'll have another order of everything. I am a fan of this restaurant, and a big thanks to Ben for great service throughout this amazing dining experience. read more

Excellent food and service. Most of the time my wife and I eat there Sundays at lunch. Love their fried chicken.

One of our favorite places for Sunday brunch but today was less than expected. The food was good as usual but the serving portions have been drastically reduced. We ordered the crab claws appetizer and besides being smaller than in the past there was almost no meat on them. My wife had the crab cakes Benedict. They two seemed quite a bit smaller and the hollandaise sauce was way over salted. The biggest disappointment was my order of the redfish Oscar which may have been 3 oz., about 4 bites. Very good but for $34? We left hungry and are going home to get something more to eat. The service was top notch and everything else was 5 star. read more

Ordered food for pickup as I had a long day traveling and have been here before so I knew I had to get it when I was in town again! I got the chicken entree and asked for farro instead of dirty rice and I'm sooo glad I did- the farro was amazing! It had vegetables in it (just a few zucchini and tomatoes; so don't worry if your not a veggie fan) with a really nice light dressing. Chicken was a tad small, but cooked to perfection with a nice crunchy skin and the green beans had a nice light garlic flavor with a good bite. I was in Jackson for business and asked a friend who grew up there where to eat. She suggested Table 100. We were supposed to go Tuesday night but instead went to Babalu tacos and tapas (which we later found out is a sister restaurant owned by the Table 100 folks). When we went to Table 100 the next night, I regretted that we hadn't gone the night before because if I ever go back to Jackson, I will eat at this place every night I'm there until I've gone through the entire menu. We didn't get an appetizer (though my friend said the shrimp and grits were amazing) opting instead to save room for dessert- more on why that was prophetic in a moment. My coworker and I got the two entrees that were recommended by the charming hostess who sat us and chatted with us, and Jimmy, our phenomenal waitress who I'll request in the future. I got the lamb chop that was in an amazing glaze with crispy onion strings, perfect mashed potatoes and asparagus, and my coworker got the redfish. I'm not a fish fan in general but I had some of his and it was fantastic- I'll get it next time. Both entrees were more than enough food and came with very good side salads (homemade ranch was ufantastic) for very reasonable prices given the quality and service. And as you can see from the pics, the presentation of the food was beautiful (especially the fish). The dessert stole the show, however. I was leaning towards the bananas foster but Jimmie convinced us to try the sticky toffee pudding which came with some magical voodoo sauce on the side (not sure what it was actually called but "heaven in a little pourer" comes close). Jimmy had true NOLA flair and explained what it was in NOLA terms (don't want to give it away, so ask for her to find out) but suffice it to say the only dessert I've had that came close was at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants in London- it was that frickin' good. My only complaint about this place is that they don't have one in D.C. But I'm pretty sure my waistline will be eternally grateful for that. As it is, I can't wait to go back to Jackson just to eat here again. read more

Today we had a party of 5. It was many of our first time dining at the establishment. Our server was Erin P. and whoever the other lady was helping her. At the end of our dining experience it was time for the check. We asked Erin to just put everything on one ticket instead of splitting the checks. Erin proceeded to make the comment of "oh well all of you all can just Venmo or CashApp one person to take care of the check" We found this to be very offensive and a bit racist seeing that it was a table of young African Americans. This experience was completely unacceptable. Please coach your waitresses on stereotyping others. Please coach your waitresses on what to say and what not to say to guests no matter their race or ethnicity. Food was good, service was HORRIBLE ‼ read more

The service was spectacular! The strawberry chicken salad was good. The chicken did have a great smokey flavor and the dressing meshed well with all the components. The pecans weren't super hard which was a bonus for me. The French onion soup was great. The deviled eggs were fabulous. OMG! The mac n cheese was so cheesy. Loved it! Here's the fail... Shrimp n Grits. What's this? I expected grits. This cake thing under a pile of greens and some bacon wrapped and BBQ sauced shrimp is what I received. Huh? The BBQ sauce ruins the shrimp. The cake shouldn't be called grits. And the greens have no place here. I payed $25 for something I didn't even want to eat. Don't make the same mistake I made. Worthy of a return visit. read more

Dinner tonight was perfect! We came on a Sunday night without any reservations, we were seated within 10 minutes. Wait staff is always very friendly and the ambiance is inviting and private. A great place for date nights. There might not be a ton of things to choose from, but what they have to offer is always on point, ask for their off menu specials. We started out with the snack board which has primento cheese, deviled house tasso, cold smoked Alaskan salmon spread, toast. I've never been a fan of primento cheese, but I think they've managed to change my mind, surprisingly it was my favorite spread on the snack board. Ask for the warm yeast rolls and soft butter. Spread some of that butter and primento on the warm rolls and enjoy! I ordered the market special fish and my bf got the lamb shank. My fish was well seasoned, nicely crispy without the skin! Sun dried tomato risotto compliments the fish very well, can I get a bowl to go please?! I'm not huge on little trees (broccoli) but the light cream sauce it was in literally made me eat my vegetables. Lamb is known for being very lean, therefore it's easy to dry them out. A lot of people would drench it in au jus, cooked in a stew or curry etc. The lamb shank at Table 100 was fall-off-the bone moist. Their mashed potatoes are always on some kind of buttered/heavy cream steroids that is resistant proof. We just wishes there was a little more jus sauce on the lamb to accompany the mashed, maybe ask for extra next time. I've been here a handful of times already, and our food is either amazing or just good, never had a bad meal. Best time to go is Sunday Jazz Brunch. Great prices, bigger menu options, live jazz at your table! I always recommend this place to my clients, because I know if they're not gonna have an amazing meal, at least they'll have a good meal. read more

Full disclosure... I'm not a classically trained chef, but I do know what is a "good" dish. This place has great atmosphere and the service is acceptable. Piano music was very nice if a tad loud. Now to the food. 1st thing, all dishes shouldn't be served swimming in what is supposed to be a "reduction". Reductions are compliments that are used to dress and enhance a dish, not combined with some sort of oil based surrey to drown the meal. "Crispy" onion strings should be just that, crispy.... not a soggy cold mass thrown on top on of a short rib on the way out of the kitchen. Lastly for $9, you can spare a couple more shrimp as the salad add on, $3 per shrimp is really insulting. In closing, if you're in the area and want to take a chance, roll the dice (I won't again). You'd be better off spending the $100 at other locales. read more

I haven't had French Onion Soup in a long time. Again this was tasty. I would have gone for a bowl. I had the scallops with rice, Swiss Chard and winter squash. All great. Especially together. This was my second birthday dinner at Table 100; I liked it so much last year we came here again! Everything was excellent, especially the deviled eggs for appetizers and creme brûlée for dessert. I had the fried shrimp; the crust was done to perfection and the tartar sauce was delicious. My husband had the beef brisket with greens and mac and cheese and it was very good as well; we both made "happy plates" (with the exception of my fries; I couldn't eat them all!). Jamie was our server and we could not have asked for better service; she was attentive, efficient and polite! In spite of the restaurant being a hopping place on a Thursday night, we were in and out in an hour! Very well done, Table 100, very well done!! read more

We were travelling and found this jewel in Flowood, Mississippi. I cherish establishments that have charm and appeal and you find that the minute you drive up to Table 100. The exterior is chic and the atmosphere inside is classy without being haughty. I had the turkey panini and it was very good. My husband had the Reuben and said it was good except that the roll was so soft that it wanted to fall apart when dipped in the accompanying sauce. We both had fries with our meal and I was disappointed because I was hoping for an interesting twist on a french-fry but they were quite plain. A shoe lace fry with a light seasoning cooked crisp would have added the sophisticated appeal and satisfaction that I was expecting. Overall, great lunch! read more

I'm traveling through, and staying at the Marriott in Pearl. Since I had a long drive, and I'm alone, I was glad to see that they have take-out. This was a Five Star experience all around. Nathan was polite, helpful and understanding of my food sensitivities. I told him where I was staying, and he put the food order in accordingly, so that it would be piping hot. I got the vegetable plate, with spinach, mashed potatoes, carrots and roasted cauliflower. Nathan assisted with changes that I required, and he worked with the kitchen to modify dishes as needed. I called before coming...was told we'd have a 35 minute wait. Cool! We got there & spoke with the hostess, decided to wait on our table by getting drinks at the bar. 45 minutes later I inquired about our table...the hostess says she assumed I wanted to eat at the bar despite our prior convo...she apologized, thanked me for my patience and I returned to the bar to again await a table. She came back less than 5 minutes later to escort us to our table. My husband completed our fab as I got our table. The waitress took my appetizer order.....40 minutes later. No appetizer. No one had come to take our entree order or check on us. 45 minutes to closing we decided to just leave since we already had tabbed out our drinks and there were no appetizers in sight. I had to take another look at Table 100 to give a better review. I had based my original response to the restaurant to a singular visit that I had made to the establishment. But when I receive a note from the owner asking me questions about my visit, I decided I needed to go there one more time. This time I ordered the "Bourbon Braised Beef Tips & Rice" and the "pork bites". The food was fresh and delicious. I admit you can have one bad experience and it can dominate your view of an overall experience. I believe that this restaurant is very important to the Flowood area as it offers some very different choices on the menu, that you will not find anywhere else. I am prayerful that this restaurant will survive through these uncertain times and that they will continue to serve our community with great variety and fresh food options.
