Our family ate here for lunch and had a great experience. There is a very extensive lunch menu along with specials available. Our waitress was very attentive and encouraged us to make substitutions. Our food came out quickly and exactly as ordered, the lunch portions are huge! We had the wedge salad with rare salmon, the fish of the day, the southern fried chicken sandwich, and the panini special. All of the food was delicious! We enjoyed the House French Press coffee for dessert- smooth & tasty. We would recommend Table 100 - especially at lunch! read more

It was amazing from beginning to end. Was recommended to visit through a friend that works here in town. First the service with Dami was awesome! She was great giving suggestions about the menu. Table 100 is pretty cool restaurant. Our experience started with an attentive server, and nice ambience. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and she had the Crab Cake with a Wedge Salad. The highlight of the night was the Grits. They are really that good. I will be making these or trying to at home now. The Crab Cake were really good, Not a lot fillers, but overall a good experience. The absolute best dining experience in the Jackson area, and beyond. Everything is near perfect - the entire staff, the bar and bartenders, the menu, the service, the wine list - we've never had any other reaction to our night there than 'wow'. Pork belly bites were great. The mustard sauce is good however a bit 'dijon' forward. I would have preferred another couple of pork belly bites and y'all kept those meatballs. We met some friends for a early dinner last night (New Years Eve). We were promptly seated Justin was our server and he was definitely on his "A" game, he was helpful with menu suggestions and any questions the table had. Now on to the food. I had the Short rib my lovely Bride had the Steak Bites our companions had the Lobster Cocktail and Oysters. The food was fantastic, all plates were picked up completely empty. I only have two comments that in no way detract from the 5 star review I'm giving. I would have liked some bread to snack on during the very short wait for our entree's and I'd have like to have had the option for a small salad. But as I said that should not take anything away from this recommendation. Go here and you will have a great dining experience. read more

Visited for dinner (twice) and sat in the bar where there was a delightful piano player. Very attentive staff, especially Jeremy, who waited on us. All our selections were prepared perfectly. Definitely recommend the deviled eggs for appetizer, salmon, redfish and gulf shrimp pasta. They have an extensive wine list. If you are a martini drinker, the pineapple martini was quite tasty. Very, very good by Jackson standards. We particularly enjoyed the French onion soup, the excellent service by Ben, the Bananas Foster presentation by one of the managers, followed by cocktails and piano music at the bar. I'm a regular here but rarely order a steak. Today I ordered a filet 6 oz. medium and it was delivered medium well. The waitress quickly recognized this and quickly offered to return my meal to the kitchen. My next filet was returned medium rare, more on the rare side. I ate the steak at round the edges and gave the rest to my husband who loves a rare steak. My husband had the special which was the halibut and it was to die for, wish I would have ordered this!!! We love this place and the food is usually spot on. We will be back, of course! read more

Went for a friends 50th anniversary. We had the most wonderful waiter. The food was so good. Fish cooked perfectly. They even made banana foster at the table for our celebration. Never had anything but great food at Table 100!!! read more

Food was excellent, presentation beautiful. This was my meal, since I was not very hungry. We were there for a late lunch, two others had trout almondine and one had soup and salad. All enjoyed their meals. Our server was efficient, but he lacked personality. Usually they do a really good job with expediting food, great dishes delivered to the table and wait staff being attentive. Although this experience was an exception. Wait time to be seated was 15 minutes which is not terrible, but we were second in line at hostess desk and only half the tables were seated. Waitress was quick to ask for drink request but not seen again for 10 minutes. When she returned we were asked how much longer we needed to decide on entrees, which we were awaiting her for her to take order. 20 minutes following we were needing refills and no waitress in site. So we proceeded to find other wait staff and request refills or if we could self serve. After another 10 minutes we received our food but still our waitress was no where to be seen. Party of six and not a single individual was impressed with the food brought to the table on this visit. I had ordered the Brussels sprouts as a side and they were completely not edible, burned. When we had finished eating the waitress appeared and ask how our meal was. She ask why I didn't eat the Brussels sprouts and I told her they were not edible, she stated "yea they don't look that great, sorry". Food came out in a decent amount of time but service was not that great. I gave them three stars based on previous visits. If I had to rate them strictly on this visit it would lower. I finally got to table 100. I had a great experience! Dakota is an excellent bartender. If you like Merlot, the path was delicious. Their appetizer with the Alaskan salmon spread and the pimento cheese was delicious! My friend ordered the lamb, she travels throughout the US. She said this was the best lamb, ever. A friend and I had dinner here Wednesday night after a full day of meetings. We were exhausted and hungry. The booth we were seated in was comfy and quiet and our waitress, Jimmy, was friendly and very helpful. A fellow New Orleanian! I ordered an Old Fashioned and WOW, I am still dreaming of it. Delicious. My friend had a Margarita and she said that was also superb. I ordered the filet and that was perfectly cooked to order and served with mashed potatoes and yummy green beans. Soooo, good! Oh, the only issue I had was that my friend ordered the coffee cheesecake and made me eat half and Jimmy was in on it, too since she brought 2 forks. I never order dessert and didn't this time, either but was forced to eat the most delicious light, creamy, coffee flavored cheesecake. I am a good friend. read more

I HAD NEVER FACED SUCH HUMILIATION IN MY LIFE! Your restaurant was on my list of restaurants among all the 50 states and Europe! My experience tonight brought not only DISGUST BUT ALSO FRUSTRATION! I asked the front desk lady if it was a casual dress code only after she said yes, I entered the restaurant. Later I saw some others entering with a similar dress code. being all by myself, I took a one-person table in the bar area. As a general rule of thumb, you should train your staff to take care of the newly entered guest! Place a menu, get some water, explain what the specials are etc! I get this kind of service at the SHITTIEST restaurant! Oh wait, I didnt get the service because not one showed up at my table! On the contrary, the newly arrived guest couple sitting next to me, got a waitress and everything! Do you DISCRIMINATE??? Let me know! The one waiter who hurriedly came a dropped water and a menu on the table asked "do you want me to start you with something?" REALLY? You just placed the menu! WTF! Is this how your guests are treated? Apparently I was the only one treated like that cause the two blonde girls who sat on the table across from me were getting some "special attention" from your waiter! The bar tender took pity on me and was atleast courteous to walk to me and ask about drinks! He also seemed to check on me! All this was happening when the manager was walking around as well! My food, the chicken breast had dried edges! Unfortunately for you, I am a food scientist especially with a Ph.D. in Poultry Products! I was so disgusted that I walked out of the restaurant! The waitress who served me and the one blonde and another girl at the front desk had a conversation behid my back as I was leaving the door and unfortunately I heard it. One goes "thats him." "Oh tahts him!" All three start laughing! Instead of apologizing or even being apologetic, they LAUGH! SHAMELESS! PURE SHAMELESS! Teach them some manners or send them home! You should send your staff to McDonalds to get trained on how to treat your guests! It was the worst treatment I have ever received in MY LIFE! Having Table 100 on my list of US and European restaurants was a HUGE MISTAKE! Not only that I am never going to come back but also make sure that everyone whom I know doesnt go to Table 100. Not only that, I preferred staying at the holiday inn behind your restaurant everytime I visited Jackson. I am going to change my hotel preference too as I dont have to cross the place which added insult to injury! If management has some integrity, they should discipline their staff. read more

I've visited this place twice since it won the "Best Restaurant" honor in the JFP. "Best" I think not. Compared to excellent Jackson establishments such as Walker's and Parlor Market?? Seriously? Somebody must have lobbied pretty hard... The first time I went the servers mixed everything up--one even stopped by before we had even gotten our food to ask if we wanted anything else, as though we had finished! I'm guessing this all had something to do with a shift change, so this wasn't too big of a deal; the longer wait was traded off with twice the food (they didn't charge us for the items they'd gotten wrong, of course). We were lacto-ovo then, and the food was okay. Underwhelming, but fine. The next time we visited we had been vegan for several months--when we informed the server of this he was very unfriendly. I cracked a joke to try to lighten the mood and he just stared at me and responded as if I were serious. I guess plant-based dieters are assumed to have no sense of humor here. He was NOT friendly or helpful; not that there was much on the menu that he could work with. There was no offer to have the chef make us a plate, as other nicer establishments in Jackson usually do. The icing on the this-was-awful cake of my experience here (apart from the food) was being serenaded by the (albeit, well-meaning) jazz brunch band. They sang 'My Girl" to me, and though I'm very difficult to embarrass, I couldn't stop blushing. I can't imagine how mortified somebody painfully shy would be... it just doesn't seem like a kind or professional thing to encourage. Which brings me to the food portion of my review: disclaimer, this is based exclusively on the vegetarian dining experience, so maybe they have some out-of-this-world meat. I wouldn't know. First of all, if you are a vegetarian, be aware that, despite the restaurant's "vegetarian friendly" claims, your selection will be limited. If you are a vegan, your selection will be green vegetables or nothing. I'm serious. I ended up with a veggie plate that consisted of salad with too-sweet dressing, and sauteed spinach, green beens, and broccoli; all over-salted. The green beans were good because they didn't absorb too much of the salt, but the broccoli and spinach tasted as if they had been brined before cooking. I cook incredible things at home and rarely make the same thing twice. It's not hard, Table 100, I promise. Check out an innovative vegan cookbook or two and offer a few more options, please. read more

My husband and I love this spot! The food is always delicious. The service is excellent. Whether you are grabbing a sandwich and fries or a hearty meat and potatoes meal you can't go wrong. While visiting my grandparents in Jackson, I was treated to Jazz Brunch one Sunday afternoon. I was beyond tickled by the live jazz music. The interior kind of reminded me of a southern chain bar and restaurant, but at least it was clean. I ordered the Crab Cakes Benedict. Oh yes, this was everything I was craving, and I was not disappointed. Service was friendly, and helpful. They were out of some selections my table had ordered, which can be a bummer anywhere you dine at. First off if your staying next door at the Holiday Inn like we were they have coupons at the front desk. Table 100 service was great very friendly and attentive staff. I had the slow cooked brisket and it was very good I would recommend this to anyone! On the side I had the mashed potatoes, and sautéed spinach both was a extremely good choice that complimented the brisket. The dinner rolls/bread they bring to the table is a great start. I tried the wine flight of 3 wines and was very pleased with the Ferrari wine. The prices are reasonable for the quality. read more
