I've eaten at Table Mesa a million times, but it keeps getting worse. In the past, I would have rated it five stars. Enchilada entrees used to consist of three of them, now it's only two. Margaritas used to be great, now the glass is filled with ice. Short rib used to be an enchilada option, now it's been removed from the menu. In the end, the butternut squash enchilada is the best entree and the cheap dates are the best app. Brunch is really solid and has fun omelette stations. read more

Food was amazing! The only reason I am not giving it a five star is for the service. Service was subpar at best. My brunch was delivered and the waitress said to me upon placing my meal in front of me "I know your order is wrong, but I will fix it if you like". How about if you know it's wrong fix it before you bring it to the table? We had to continually flag Dow the server as well for drinks etc. This place has potential if they can figure the service portion out. read more

Bentonville has so many great places to dine and diverse varieties of cuisine. For us it is always worth the drive from Broken Arrow. We were there for an anniversary lunch. We had the Kiki's Burrito. It was a large Tex Mex style burrito stuffed with Kobe beef, queso fundido, roasted tomatoes, onions, peppers and guacamole. It was topped with poblano sauce (a white sauce) and guajillo sauce (a red sauce). The other order was the Slow Roasted Chipotle Brisket Enchiladas. The enchiladas were made with tender brisket, roasted for a minimum of 6 hours, topped with melted aged jack and mozzarella cheeses, and covered with their signature guajillo sauce. Both orders were served with black beans and rice. Other than the flavors of their sauces, what really stood out was the great tasting, tender, perfectly seasoned beef they used in both dishes. We seldom eat dessert, but we could not pass up the Chocolate Tres Leches! It is a house-made cake, soaked in three milks with a seasonal fruit pureé. Chocolate heaven! Excellent! We really were not in a hurry, but the service was a little slow. Were were there at 1:30 PM and everyone was focused on cleaning up after the lunch crowd. It is a great place for lunch! Had another nice dinner here. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the wait staff, unfortunately a rarity in a moderate priced restaurant in this area. Proper placement of glasses, napkins to prevent splashes/drips from pitchers, replacement silverware brought on a small serving dish - all those small touches that are all too often overlooked. I've been to table Mesa on many occasions from brunch to dinner. On my most recent visit I ordered the blue water quesadilla. It came with forbidden rice, which is forbidden because it was bland. I recommend subbing it out. The quesadilla was good but the cream sauce it came with overtook what you expect from a quesadilla, which is melted cheese. I recommend many things: Macho Nachos (request the pablano sauce) Chorizo Burger Kiki Burrito Mama Mia Chicken (the mashed potatoes can kill a man.) Cheap Dates (good for a cheap date, like, really cheep) The Lady from Guadalupe Salad (get with sircahi sauce dressing.) And a Mexican Coke. Those are things that I like. If you're out and about on a Sunday morning and have absolutely nothing else to do for the remainder of the day, go to Table Mesa and get you a brunch. Everyone we come to Bentonville, this is one of our favorite spots. To say the food is always phenomenal, is an understatement. We went did an early dinner and tried the curry chicken burrito. It was a unique dish that was full of flavor and packed with chicken. If you like curry and have not tried this dish, do yourself a favor and order it next time and you will not be disappointed. My wife loves their key lime pie, too. They can get busy during peak times but that's because they have great food. I've never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy. Keep up the great work!! read more

We were there on Easter Saturday evening... so a busy time indeed. The girls and I were visiting the North Forest Lights. I'm aware that sometimes these restaurants can be seen as tourist traps, though we were pleasantly surprised. We were given an approximate wait time, understandably around 40 minutes for an Easter Saturday evening, so we took advantage of the Walmart Ice cream window 50 yards away, and had a wee pre dinner ice cream (delicious) When I checked again with Table Mesa... the staff were really helpful and seated us almost immediately.... Our server was obviously pretty busy, so the time to receive our drinks and salsa/chips was a little on the slow side, though again, it was a busy Saturday Food arrived quickly though, and was piping hot. Rice and beans sides were really nice. All our main meals were devoured... tasty and hot. We were pleasantly surprised that the initial thoughts of a tourist trap didn't materialise... and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks.... and the staff were really very very nice... just a tad busy... which is a good reflection that the locals enjoy this place too. My mom and I had lunch here, and pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. Not sure if that should have been a clue but needless to say, our experience was a big, meh. We both had an assortment of enchiladas. Honestly, I've already forgotten what I had it was so blah. Extremely overpriced, especially for what you get. It's one of those restaurants that tries so hard to be different that they forget to make it taste good. Service was just ok. Took forever to get drinks, our lunch, refills, the bill.. Though the one time we did see our server she mentioned they do a weekend brunch that is phenomenal. I keep reading about brunch in other reviews, maybe that's how the restaurant keeps the lights on? This is a pretty large establishment in this area. It takes up nearly half a block it seems. It says they have tapas, but I saw none on the menu. Chips and salsa were $2, but the salsa was small and never offered a refill. The tortilla chips are fresh but are tortilla not corn. Food was a little expensive for what you got ($15 for two enchiladas?, 16 for two tacos?). That said, the food was flavorful, prompt, and delicious. Waitress was brand new, but she was phenomenal. This is not your typical Mexican restaurant so if that's what you're expecting you may want to rethink this place. Ok with that being said...we knew before hand it was not, however the kids did lol The atmosphere and service: Clean, inviting and low lighting. Servers are professional and know the menu. The food: Chips and salsa brought to table! The salsa was absolutely delicious and the chips are homemade...really good. I had the chicken poblano. Grilled chicken breast over mashed potatoes and fire grilled corn...all with a Mexican twist. Everything was packed with flavor, however their was a sweet undertone which was kind of weird. My husband had the steak and chicken fajitas. They came in a cast iron skillet. The steak was "tender and delicious." It also had a sweet undertone. He loved the fajitas. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Food is just average. Yesterday I had lunch there amd ordered chicken tortilla soup. First bite, I thought I was eating a blue tortilla strip in the soup. When I bit into it, it ended up being a 3 inch piece of hard plastic that was as big around as a pencil. No excuse for this. Absolutely will not be back. read more

They didn't bring chips and salsa for the table, they just offered an extra basket of chips after we ordered an appetizer. This was unusual for us being from DFW TX where immediately after sitting down we are served chips and salsa and/or another dipping sauce. The food was a 4 out of 5, same with service- we had to ask twice for silverware. The checks were given to pay online but their Wi-Fi didn't work in the back of the restaurant, so we had to ask to pay with card. Overall the experience was OK , but not great. read more

Nice place right on the square in Bentonville. We only had lunch which didn't include drinks but it's basically upscale Tex-Mex which is done very well. You'll have some surprises but likely not much that blows you away, however the menu should have options for everyone and they use high quality ingredients which are prepared well. There's some outdoor seating if you're interested, and the service was quite good and the restaurant seemed to be well run. It's the same people as Tavola Trattoria and they seem to have this business down. A nice option to give you some variety in the Bentonville area. Well done. read more

The actual restaurant is divided into two distinct dining rooms with incredibly contrasting settings. One half the restaurant feels very modern and vibrant, while the other half has a more industrial dark look. The menu is filled with different takes on tacos, burritos and enchiladas. If you are ordering apps the cheap dates are the must get. My favorite entree I've tried here is the Thai Curry Burrito, it perfectly blends the two cuisines into a savory familiar format. read more

We also had the dates appetizer and it was really good as well. The atmosphere is good.
