Love this place & hope to be back!! Great service, really nice rooms, clean, and so close to the water!!

My partner and I took my seven year old twin boys to the coast so we could spend a weekend out of town and visit the Wild Animal park in Bandon. I looked for hotels that were inexpensive, but good, in the area and had a choice of several. After seeing the pictures of the rooms, I made a reservation for the Table Top Motel. I made an error though; after I checked my email to confirm my reservation, I saw that I had reserved for the wrong day. I immediately called the motel to see what could be done. I left a message and within a half hour or so, I got a call back from a very nice woman, who understood my situation completely and fixed the situation immediately. I wasn't able to get the same room I booked, however I was able to get a similar one, for the same price, and the same amenities. In a lot of ways, I came to found out, I think I got a better room. We stayed in Room 2. This is still the COVID-19 pandemic era and so we had a contact-less check in. When we arrived, we were so pleased to see that we were right on the cliff near Table Rock...to get to a path down to the beach we only had to walk across the motel parking lot and down a path. It was right there! Our room itself had a nice little front room, with a TV, table, couch, and coffee table, as well as a full size fridge. The kitchenette area had everything we would need; a microwave, range, oven, sink, and all the pots and pans and utensils, salt and pepper, coffee packets and filters; it was all there. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed. The real allure to this room was the stairwell up to a loft area, with two beds (a full and a twin), and a little window that gave us a view of the ocean. My children stayed there. My partner and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs, which was just off the living room area and was just large enough to accommodate the queen sized bed, which honestly was all we needed. When we arrived, we dumped our stuff and opened all the windows, letting in the sea air and giving us the chance to listen to the surf. Then we were on the beach within five minutes. Later, we came back and watched a Blu-Ray and ate dinner together. The next morning, we made some breakfast with everything made available. This was really the perfect place for us this weekend. It was cozy, had character, was beautifully decorated. Everything we needed for the weekend was present and our only regret is that we didn't plan out several days to stay here. My kids were still raving about how much they loved our trip and my partner, who's spent a lot of time on the southern Oregon coast, declared that this might have been the best place she's stayed in the area. This really was an amazing weekend for us and the Table Rock Motel was a large part of our overall comfort and enjoyment. My whole family agrees: this is our Southern Oregon Coast hotel from now until we buy our own place there, and we're already planning our return trip this upcoming holiday season.

What a fabulous property with super sweet staff. The Tablerock inn is situated near one of the most gorgeous beaches I have ever seen in my life! After the sun sets you see the most amazing colours and the beach is only a few meters from the property. We stayed in the Pirate room in the new building. Everything is super super clean and all brand new. The beds were amazing and they use super soft linnen. When we asked if we could check out half an hour later because of the soccer game (WK quarter finals), this was no problem at all.. Too bad we were only here for one night! :)

This was a great motel. Clean, beach access, friendly staff, right price and fun themed rooms (but not too fun). Beds were so soft too. Shower was only so so but that's not really a complaint. Kid friendly even had movies to rent to $1 buck. And remember do not cook crabs in your room!

I loved it! Travelling up and down the coast, seeing the Redwoods, and booking hotels long the way…read more Stayed in 5 different hotels this week, and The Bandon Inn is in 2nd place. I was surprised by how much i loved it, because to look at the thumbnail on Booking.com, it didn't look too attractive, and at first, i skipped past it. Bandon isn't a big place though, an the price was right for The Bandon Inn, so i booked a room. Obviously being on the coast, it has a strong coastal theme in the lobby, which is very cosily appointed, and welcoming. The check in was smooth, and the lady very helpful. The one thing i was not such a fan of was the continental breakfast (i never like any of the options, yogurt, pastries, fruit, cereal, hard-boiled egg - no thank you) And not only didn't i like anything available in this continental breakfast, we were handed a sheet of paper, and asked to say what time we would be coming to breakfast, AND pre-order which items you'd like. For a start, I'm on vacation, so I'm not setting any alarms, and as i said, I'm not into that sort of thing, so i asked her where I could get PROPER breakfast, and she gave multiple options that were available. She was very helpful. We were directed to our room, which was in an outside long building, and you went down some concrete steps, and into the room. I was instantly charmed by the room. We had a balcony!!! With a panoramic coastal view. This is because the long buildings are set above the town, on coastal bluffs. Beautiful. And 2 armchairs and a side table next to the balcony window so you could look out over the town below, and the sweeping coastline. A really nice room, and an affordable price. The temperature of the room was cool and perfect (highly important to me, as i get too hot very easily) I didn't need to put the air conditioning on, as it was already exactly cool enough for me. There's a pathway down to the town below if you don't want to drive there, but we didn't notice it until after we came back from breakfast. It's a very clean hotel. Excellent views, and if you like continental breakfast, you'd give this 5 stars. As it is, it's my 2nd favourite of the 5 hotels, and I would have no hesitation in returning, as I was absolutely charmed by the town of Bandon

Everything is small. The beds, the rooms, the stove, the shower, the toilet. All smaller than you are used to. Definitely not ADA accessible. - This place is old. It smells like your Great Aunt's house and you'll be checking the cupboards for Ribbon Candy. - The place is clean. Spotless. Linens were fresh and not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. Dishes, cups, everything. Super clean. - It's not modern. At all. You'll use a real key. You'll get a handwritten receipt for your stay. The WiFi is a strange little router plugged in to a random ceiling plug. The stove is small and has coil burners. - It has great beach access. Out your back door and a few steps away. Okay, several steps but still close. - Close to the old town. You're about a 5 minute drive to the old downtown and far off the highway so there is no noise. - It's expensive. A tad uncomfortable with the price but you're paying for the beach access and view. There is a chain hotel across the street that is significantly cheaper but if you want the access, get your credit card out. Hotels / motels are limited in this town and this was the best option we saw. We will stay here again. Once you get over the "weird" of the room set up (it takes about an hour) you will really like the place.

This review is difficult for me to write because, honestly, I wanted to love this place…read more The location is beautiful. The proximity to the beach is outstanding, the setting is relaxing, and the property has tremendous potential to provide a wonderful coastal experience. That is part of what makes this experience so disappointing. I did not want to write this review out of anger or spite. In fact, my initial goal was simply to alert management to a serious issue so it could be addressed before another guest experienced the same thing. During my stay, I discovered multiple bed bugs on the bedding. I photographed the insects, photographed where they were found, and documented the resulting bites. The issue was significant enough that we felt unsafe remaining in the room. What happened next was even more disappointing than the discovery itself. We immediately attempted to contact the hotel for assistance. We called the regular hotel phone number, called the emergency contact number posted on the office door, and sent multiple emails. Despite repeated attempts, we received no response. With no assistance available, we were forced to find alternative accommodations late at night, around 10:00 PM, incurring additional expenses, stress, disruption to our travel plans, and concern about possible exposure to our belongings. The following morning, because all of our attempts to contact management had gone unanswered, we returned to the property in person to speak with management directly. I was not looking for a confrontation. I was looking for compassion, accountability, and reassurance that the matter would be taken seriously. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, disrespected, and treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate health and safety issue. I will also note that management declined to accept responsibility for the condition of the room. While I cannot speak to when the issue originated or whether management was previously aware of it, the number of insects I discovered and documented left me deeply concerned about the extent of the problem. To management's credit, a refund was eventually issued. However, a refund does not erase the experience, the inconvenience of having to relocate late at night, the bites, the anxiety of potentially bringing bed bugs home, or the feeling that our concerns were not genuinely heard. What troubles me most is that I sincerely expressed my hope that the issue was isolated and encouraged management to thoroughly investigate it for the protection of future guests. My purpose then, and now, is not retaliation. It is concern that another family may unknowingly find themselves in the same position. I hope the hotel conducts a thorough inspection and remediation of any affected rooms. Every guest deserves a clean, safe place to sleep and a management team that responds promptly and compassionately when serious concerns arise.

It's very well maintained and landscaped with lots of flower pots and greenery. Check in was quick and easy, and the desk clerk friendly. It was impeccably clean and featured standard amenities like a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. It also had a USB charging port on the bedside table, which I always appreciate. Both bed and bath linens were fresh and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room is adorned with beautiful coastal photographs taken by the motel owners, who are apparently professional photographers. I'm fine with saving a little money and foregoing the expensive oceanfront or downtown motels. Bandon is so small that it's easy to get around. I didn't find the traffic from 101 to be too loud at all. There's also a little convenience store next door where you can get some snacks or drinks if needed. I would 100% stay here again.

My favorite room had a loft spot to sleep, and was private with a great view of the harbor. Kitchen and lounge areas were clean and I met some nice hostelers too. If you enjoy hosteling, this is a good one to visit. They also rent full guesthouse rooms, separately, with views, but I have only stayed at the hostel. Hosteling is very different from hotelling, and it is NOT for everyone, so I would rate this 3 or 4 stars for a hostel, but if you compare it to a regular hotel, i have no idea. Hostels are not camping, not bed and breakfasts, but nor are they hotels or motels, so I have no idea really how to rate them, except hostel to hostel. Hosteling is affordable, social and educational. Someday I'd love to own a hostel.
