Cute little diner we trued for breakfast. Took quite a while for the food to be cooked/served but it was good. A bit bland though. Coffee was great but they don't have any nondairy creamer. Luckily I had powdered nondairy creamer in my car. My omelet had ham, bacon, tomatoes, onion, cheddar cheese and home fries in it-the Farmers omelet. It was good. Hubby had scrambled eggs, rye toast and bacon. He enjoyed it. He wanted a second glass of juice but service was limited (slow) seemed to be only 1 server for the entire place. read more

We found this place 7 yrs ago on our leaf peeping vacation. It was so good we had to include it on this trip. This is a true diner with everything homemade ( just the way we like it). Stopped in with a buddy for breakfast , he got the meat lovers omelet , I got the steak and cheese omelet with extra egg, and a side of toast and coffee , omelets were great , toast was good , hash browns were nice and crunchy on the edges , the portion of hash browns was a little lacking. This is an absolute favorite for or family of five. It is an annual ritual to stop in to this place on our pilgrimage to Vermont for a Fall Leaf Color Tour. The "circle" Milk Can section of the diner is a favorite for the kids to set in, but is often filled. So what, set at the counter or take a booth! Regardless, to set at the counter, watch them sling hash, and see a 'No Cell Phones Allowed" sign on the wall was refreshing. Been going there for years and will likely be back until they screw it up, shut it down, or I get too old! So I'm told, its a Mom and son thing... I've lived in the area for almost 22 years and had not made it to the Earlee Mug in Granby. I'm glad that I stopped in and it definitely won't be the last time. Omg.....I was told to come here while visiting some family in the area. Ingot a waitress whose mouth I could smell a mile away. It was disgusting. She handed me my plate and it was basically " side of breakfast" with a main plate of bad breathe and plaque and decayed teeth. I serioulsy was nearly knocked over with the smell. I had wished she never opened her mouth. She was a blonde and I think her name was perhaps Abby or Amber it was awful and we left without eating a thing. Came in on a whim and ordered my favorite breakfast, egg's benedict. The star of the plate was the sliced ham that was served over the english muffins. Yes. A thousand times yes. We are always on the lookout for good, cheap, local diners. We want to sidle up to the counter, get our coffee in a nondescript mug, and check out all the jelly packets in the jelly holder. This is a place for that. Not only is the food exactly what you'd want at a diner, but it's so cheap. All to often these days, we find diners that charge 6 dollars for a breakfast sandwich, or 8 dollars for a cheese omelet. Not this place. I got a full plate of food for about 6 dollars, if that. The service is excellent. We got a nice, joke making waitress that sold us on a lot of 'upgrades'. Like grilling my english muffin in butter (always recommended) and adding a grilled blueberry muffin (which no one ever needs but everyone should always want). She came and had conversation with us often between checking on other tables. This is a good morning spot. We were there at 10, and didn't have to wait long. Great little diner. Good food, good service -- very accommodating -- if they can make something that's not on the menu, they will. Hamburgers are very good for the money. This little hidden gem in Granby, MA is worth checking out. They have incredible ham, which they cut right off the bone before warming it up on the grill. I love their meatball omelets, as well as their farmer's omelets. They also have special days where they make cauliflower or broccoli buns, which you can add as a side with your omelet or instead of a bun for your BLT or bacon cheeseburger. These special buns are great for those of us who don't do carbs. This is a small place, but they make up this for by serving incredible food. And this isn't one of those fast food places either - you get to have a nice visit with your friends or family as they prepare your meal and it comes to your table freshly made and steaming hot! read more

My husband and I came here yesterday morning. The place was so nice and homey and the cook and our waiter were such genuinely nice people. It felt like we were just having breakfast at the cooks home which we thought was such a great experience. We both ordered omelettes and then shared a banana pancake. The omelettes were cooked perfectly and were so delicious, and the pancake was so good we couldn't stop eating even though we were ready to roll out from being so full! There was a change in the crew recently and the new staff has made for some pretty bad experiences. Wait times from ordering to receiving food got up to 30 mins a few times. I've received half cooked omlettes, moldy toast, and runny, battery pancakes. I hate sending food back but there were times that I couldn't eat what was served. Food has declined, and service has gone way down. Hopefully things pick back up soon. read more

Food is always amazing coming here. I live in the town this restaurant is in and I always enjoy coming here. The coffee is fantastic and the breakfast food is always delicious. The menu is so big and there are baked goods on the counter all the time. You can see your food being prepared which is awesome. This place was delicious! It's on a main road in a quiet part of town. There was a sign outside the door saying CASH ONLY, but there was an ATM closeby. It's an old, quaint, family-atmosphere restaurant. They cook everything in front of you. We had their steak and cheese omelette, toast, and pancakes. One pancake was HUGE. Everything they were making in front of us looked delicious (potatoes, omeletes, eggs, muffins, French toast, sausage, bacon, coffee, hash, etc). Everything was fresh and homemade. I love a local breakfast place, and when we moved here I was excited about this place. The service can be super friendly or grumpy, depending on your server. The breakfast is average, but it can be good to mediocre. The coffee however is weak and terrible. The worst part is that the place, from tables, windowsills to the kitchen is just very dirty and shabby. The condiment containers are disgusting, and the place needs a serious scrubbing. The owner should brush up on health codes, 'cause no one wears gloves or covers their hair while working with food. Over 3 visits, I can't help but think this place just isn't worth the money. And its very reasonably priced, as they accept restaurant.com gift certificates, so you can get $30 worth of food for $20. Everything here is just.... ok. Nothing stands out as great. The coffee is not all that strong, and sometimes burnt. The bread is generic, and the burger patties are pre-made 1/4 pounders. If you get the "Bob" burger, they won't cook it anything but medium-well. I like some pink left in my burger! Their breakfast sausage is just sweet or sometimes spicy italian sausage cut in half - the same stuff they use in their sausage grinders. On the rare occasion I go there, its with my boss and he pays, so I just order the better options they give, two large chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes with slices bananas, two scrambled eggs and some home fries. going to this place is the reason I am giving my first yelp return. I had typed a long review and yelp erased it. I am not going to retype it. This place was awful. I watched the cook go from handling food, to wiping her face, to handling food, to taking cash at the register, to handling food. In all that time she never once wiped, washed or sanitized her hands. Two pots off old coffee were poured together to make a "new" pot of coffee. I am not going to write the rest of the stuff I saw. I have lived in Western MA all my life and have never been here. Brought my wife there for her birthday, it is where she wanted to go, and we really liked it. Great coffee to start with. Friendly people and while the building is a little dated, it was spotless. I had their famous omelet and substituted spinach for onions and it was outstanding. We will definitely go back and maybe try their dinner menu which others have raved about. I would recommend this for people who really like a good breakfast. it's the second time since I went there and the food was good but the service was again terrible. The order was late, people that came after us were served first and when the waitress noticed that they missed our order, she whispered to the cook " Don't worry about it". I was taking my wife for breakfast, the service and experience made her upset. They acted as if there was not a big deal.
