Gyro plate and gyro chicken plate
    PJ C.

Guys, this place is incredible. This is the best gyro Tulsa has to offer and it is as good as the ones I had in NYC. One, it is in downtown next to the historic Mayo hotel so cool spot. Two, the prices are very reasonable!! Those two plates were $17, total! I was stuffed after finishing mine. Gyro Plate, get the gyro plate! The owner is very kind too. COVID concerns? Eh most of the ppl had their food to go but there was plenty of room to distance.

Gyro plate. Best downtown value for a healthy lunch.

Tabouli's has amazing food at great prices. They are one of the very few place in downtown that you can get a healthy meal. Meat, veggies, rice, pita, and taziki, all for under $8

Greek Lasagna, Cucumber salad and tabouli
    Jim M.

Greeted with a smile. Got there before the crowds hit. Helpful staff; described menu items. All dinner same price $7.39 with two sides. Got the Greek Lasagna with cucumber salad and tabouli. Lasagna was meaty, with a top layer of soft noodle/potato with seasonings. Liked the cucumber salad, and tabouli was delicious. Older décor, but clean so was comfortable. Definitely worth a Lunch visit if you're in downtown Tulsa.

    Some yummies they serve.

I had the chicken kabobs, tabouli, and baklava. The chicken was decent. The tabouli was fantastic. The baklava was outrageously good.

Great for lunch, fresh tasting healthy foods. Way better than Zorba's in my opinion.

New favorite restaurant in Oklahoma!!!…read more I've lived in the Middle East and I can tell you this place is an absolute gem for the very healthy ancient cuisine. The greedy part of me thought I shouldn't review this place because the food is so good I don't want the quality compromised by too much customer service but the food has literally compelled me to write this. Friday evening 6:30pm: the place doesn't have a single chair available, tabouli is sold out. Plan accordingly. The Mezza Platter & the Shish Kebab are winners! The tenderloin shish kebab was the best I've EVER had! The tzatziki cucumber yogurt dip was perfectly thick...not runny like other inferior restaurants. The cabbage roll was surprisingly pleasant. I liked the herb olive oil dizzle over the hummus and eggplant dip. I also enjoyed the subtle hint of charred eggplant in the background of the dip. The place is across from Natural Grocers so it's perfectly located for multiple shops and stops. Will I come back? Definitely! Honest review & not paid by anyone to write these words. Also, I'm not AI!

We're a sharing is caring group and I sampled from the other vegan items ordered. The falafel was great, the red onion and cabbage salad was great, and the red lentil soup was sooo good. The meaty meats agreed and enjoyed their vegan, vegetarian, and meat options as well. I'm glad we came in! I wasn't aware they had so many vegan items on their regular menu. This spot is going into the heavy rotation category forthwith!

Taziki's had daily specials & as for Wednesday, it was the Spanakopita Roll-Up. Grilled chicken, feta & blanched spinach inside of a grilled tortilla with a side of salsa. It also comes with chips (I had baked pita) & a side, which I picked the roasted potatoes. Even though I had a late lunch, the dish was the epitome of one. Holding me over until I got home with the 4 roll-ups. The salsa was good, my favorite kind - salsa taquera. Their baked pita would go well with hummus, I found out after the fact that they have Spicy Harissa Hummus that I'd like to try. The roasted potatoes were well seasoned with slightly crispy edges. You walk up to the front to place your order. The person who took my order was really nice. The food didn't take long. There's nowhere to leave your trash, they come pick it up for you. I plan on coming back, especially for the hummus.

I ordered the Greek salad and spouse ordered the Mediterranean salad. Got my salad ok. They brought spouse a chicken sandwich and a side salad. Not what she ordered. Went on website to search nutrition info. My salad had 850mg of sodium and Sharon's sandwich/salad combo had over 2,000. My salad was tasty and Sharon said hers was also tasty. But we're still trying to find decent low-sodium offerings in restaurants.

The Reuben i got was fresh and hot. The meat was sliced thin and it was tender. They used Kraft thousand island dressing on it but didn't take away from the sandwich. I just wish I'd sprung for the extra meat. Not sure if $8 for sandwich only is the usual in the area but I dont think it was too much to pay. I dont have anything to compare. Service was fast as I was the only patron ordering and only one other customer was seated eating. I know a reuben is meant for rye but I wanted to change breads . I was informed that I couldn't and decided to order anyway. The place is in a small storefront with a few tables but it seems like it has its regulars. Great prices and I was excited to try something new. I had the chicken Shawarma gyro and I loved it. It came out hot and fresh with great flavor. I also had the stuffed grape leaves. I asked for some tzatziki to go with this. This was the only thing that was super different to me. the tzatziki had a little kick to it. I think it was maybe a lot of pepper so it wasn't crazy spicy, but there was a kick and I was not a huge fan of spicy tzatziki. Some may love this but I like a more traditional tzatziki. However, overall, the service was super friendly. It was quick and I really enjoyed my meal and you get a lot of food and it's a great price and I will be back to try more items.
