Gyro plate and gyro chicken plate
    PJ C.

Guys, this place is incredible. This is the best gyro Tulsa has to offer and it is as good as the ones I had in NYC. One, it is in downtown next to the historic Mayo hotel so cool spot. Two, the prices are very reasonable!! Those two plates were $17, total! I was stuffed after finishing mine. Gyro Plate, get the gyro plate! The owner is very kind too. COVID concerns? Eh most of the ppl had their food to go but there was plenty of room to distance.

Gyro plate. Best downtown value for a healthy lunch.

Tabouli's has amazing food at great prices. They are one of the very few place in downtown that you can get a healthy meal. Meat, veggies, rice, pita, and taziki, all for under $8

Greek Lasagna, Cucumber salad and tabouli
    Jim M.

Greeted with a smile. Got there before the crowds hit. Helpful staff; described menu items. All dinner same price $7.39 with two sides. Got the Greek Lasagna with cucumber salad and tabouli. Lasagna was meaty, with a top layer of soft noodle/potato with seasonings. Liked the cucumber salad, and tabouli was delicious. Older décor, but clean so was comfortable. Definitely worth a Lunch visit if you're in downtown Tulsa.

    Some yummies they serve.

I had the chicken kabobs, tabouli, and baklava. The chicken was decent. The tabouli was fantastic. The baklava was outrageously good.

After a quick recent Yelp search this place kept popping up as number 1 in the area so I broke down and tried the restaurant again. It was nearly a completely different experience! The pita bread is probably the best I've ever had. The portion size has much improved. The mix & match plate options are more balanced. I love I can order a LARGE tabouli salad! The garlicky potatoes have always been delightful. They packed all of the things I paid for and curbside was literally instant. I WILL return many times if this restaurant keeps up these new changes. I suspect the restaurant is under new management or something.

We sat at the bar and ordered Old Fashions. It was Happy Hour and drinks were $8 instead of $10. The Old Fashions were good. The other drinks on the menu seemed to appeal to a younger crowd, but they have a full service bar. We aren't limited to what's on their menu. Nevertheless, I decided to try the pineappletini. It sounded good. I love pineapple and martinis. It was way too sweet for me. We ordered an eggplant dip that came with unusually delicious pita bread. They bring you pita bread no matter what you order. We also got chips with the dip. We loved the dip. The atmosphere was busy. They had a large crowds of people socializing. There's a garden area where people who like quiet dining can go when the weather is nice. Dan sent a text to management asking about sodium levels in their food and explained that he had to limit his sodium intake for medical reasons. They responded by saying they can't give him that information. I was happy to notice there wasn't a charge for paying with our credit card. We will be back.

It's lemony, moist, and has a little bit of char on the outside to take the flavors to the maximum. Nothing overwhelms though, and it's all subtle - lower case, not all caps. The salad was simple but tasty and a great complement to the rice and chicken. Prices are midrange- nothing too expensive. I used to go to Saffron when it was in East Tulsa and called Shish Kabobs. I loved it then and it's even better now, and much more of a complete restaurant experience rather than the startup it once was. I'll eat here as long as it's open for business.

New favorite restaurant in Oklahoma!!!…read more I've lived in the Middle East and I can tell you this place is an absolute gem for the very healthy ancient cuisine. The greedy part of me thought I shouldn't review this place because the food is so good I don't want the quality compromised by too much customer service but the food has literally compelled me to write this. Friday evening 6:30pm: the place doesn't have a single chair available, tabouli is sold out. Plan accordingly. The Mezza Platter & the Shish Kebab are winners! The tenderloin shish kebab was the best I've EVER had! The tzatziki cucumber yogurt dip was perfectly thick...not runny like other inferior restaurants. The cabbage roll was surprisingly pleasant. I liked the herb olive oil dizzle over the hummus and eggplant dip. I also enjoyed the subtle hint of charred eggplant in the background of the dip. The place is across from Natural Grocers so it's perfectly located for multiple shops and stops. Will I come back? Definitely! Honest review & not paid by anyone to write these words. Also, I'm not AI!

We need to make sure the lid closes as we have had problems with that. My problem with that is I don't want rusted romaine from the end of the line that looks like it's seen better days added on top of my salad. I know this, in advance, because I use to eat at this location 4-5 times a week, sometimes lunch and dinner. With all the changes in staff, rudeness, super greens being changed and the removal of the red cabbage slaw, the combination of all those things has literally reduced my visits down to once a month, if that. Who wants to go to a place where the guy serving you rolls his eyes and is beyond rude. I only went today because my grown son chose it. His bowl, when it was complete was less than two thirds full. No problem getting lids on either of one of our bowls!!! We can't understand why you can't have more lettuce in your bowl when you are wanting a salad. We don't do rice and lentil fillers and tell them that up front.

It also comes with chips (I had baked pita) & a side, which I picked the roasted potatoes. Even though I had a late lunch, the dish was the epitome of one.
