I've had consistently good food here in the past. Tried it for the first time since it moved spots in the food court. I got my usual falafel meal. Everything was good as normal other than the falafel, the recipe has changed and it was microwaved mush. Super disappointing! It used to be fluffy, bright green and flavorful. For a place at the mall food court, this place is great. Gyro was well-spiced. Falafel was not the best I had; it was a bit mushy and didn't taste as good as some I've had before. The lady working the front was okay with me not wanting onions and substituting sauces, which was nice. We visited this location and had their gyro plate and hummus plate. We totally enjoyed the gyro plate the meat and salad were perfect and it's hard to mess up pitas. But their hummus was watery and salty. We weren't too impressed by it. But all in all we did enjoy our experience with this place. When we're in Tulsa again, we'll be coming here again. read more

Whenever I have to drive out to Woodland Hills Mall, I always stop at It's Greek to Me. I usually order their Gyro Platter and ask for more hummus instead of the salad or the cabbage roll platter. Food is tasty, nothing fancy since it's inside a mall food court, but I would rather get something real than fast food. Food is always hot and fresh, and plenty filling, usually have to take some home due to the large portions! I love the fact that they serve fluffy pita and not pocket bread with their hummus!! This is the review for their Woodland Hills mall food court location. Sells your typical yummy Kronos gyro. For $6.99 you can get a gyro plate which includes rice pilaf, a pita cut into 4 sections, shaved gyro meat, shredded ice berg lettuce, a slice of tomato, 2 containers of tzatziki and a drink. A couple of years ago, I tried their bakalva; it was ok, nothing fantastic. Their dolmades aren't very good. For about $3 you can order a side of dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) and it comes with 5. They are stuffed with an oily, but dry (I don't know how to explain it) reddish/orange rice. The leaves have the texture of sitting under a heat lamp. I like them because they're not Chik-fil-a or Popeyes. It's the only decent tasting mall food you can get! I must say I'm a little confused by their brochure which, in bold letters at the top, says, "Open Buffet Every Friday and Saturday Night. Hookah Available Every Night." I'm confused because 2 out of 3 of their locations are in mall food courts, the other being in the Spirit Bank Event Center (I have no idea what that is.) I can't imagine that hookah is allowed in the mall food court when smoking is not. read more

When faced with overpriced philly cheese steak sandwiches or 3 different variations of mall chinese food (despite one stating it's a cajun place), reasonably priced Greek food will always win out. Sandwich combos (served with fries and a drink) are priced at $5.99. More filling plates like chicken or gyros are priced at $7.99 and come with hummus, pita, tabouli, tzaziki sauce and a drink. Ample amount of meat which was freshly shaved from the cone. Hummus was good and not watery or runny like I incorrectly assumed it would be. Tabouli tasted like tabouli and I still remain, not of fan of it no matter where it comes from. Also ordered a side of grape leaves, which in a different take came warm. There was a line of about 4 customers in front of me, and 3 behind me. The man behind the counter was working alone, and was very stressed out presumably because he did not have any help and felt overwhelmed. However, when it was my turn to order after about a 10 minute wait, he was extremely rude after asking me for my beverage choice. I literally was given less than 3 seconds for a response before I was told to hurry up. Coming from a background of having a small family restaurant, I know very well that this is not how you treat customers ever, regardless of the circumstances. I honestly should have just walked away at that point, but after waiting so long, I unfortunately didn't have the energy. As a result of this terrible service, I will never come back here again. Grease Pit Gyro's! Literally Soaking in Grease Filled Warmer Pan! I ordered a Gyro platter and watched as the guy plated. He opened the lid off a food warmer, took a tong, and pulled out pre-cut strips of gyro meat literally dripping oily, greasy, liquid fat and tossed it on a plate with rice and tabouli. A Heart Attack on a plate!!!! Wow! AT least a 2,500 calorie meal. I grabbed a stack of napkins and used to squeeze the meat as hard as possible. I soaked 22 napkins in oily, greasy fat. This is so delicious! The meat is melt in your mouth tender and flavorful. They are friendly, courteous, and professional in every way. It's in the mall, but it's really good. They have probably the best gyros i have had in town. Now I have not been to a TON of places serving them but a handful. Out of that handful though this place is the best. The onions, the tomatoes, the sauce, the meat... it is all so good. While visiting Woodland Hills Mall, we decided to stop and eat in the food court. We walked around to check out all of the places. When we got to It's Greek to Me, there was an employee standing in front of the store offering samples of gyro meat; I think that's a great marketing tool. I chose to give it a try because I don't get Greek food often--if ever. I ordered a grilled chicken gyro; it's called a grilled chicken sandwich on the menu. The workers were very friendly when I was ordering and warned me it would be a little more than 5 minutes for my food to be ready. I didn't mind because, unlike most of the places in the food court, their food is cooked fresh--not sitting out previously made waiting to be scooped on a plate. When I received my meal, I was surprised at the large size of the gyro. It only cost about $6. It was honestly one of the best tasting meals I have had in a very long time. I'm so glad I stopped to try it! The chicken was seasoned and juicy; there was also a large portion of it inside the grilled pita bread too. This used to be a good place to eat but since the owner died this place has went completely downhill. I ordered a gyro combo with a large soda and it came to 8.48. Ok, no problem so far. Then the guy hands me a medium drink with no ice in it. "Yo, my man I thought I asked for a large drink." He says .50 more and I give him the two quarters. I'm thinking why didn't he put ice in the drink? Well maybe his ice machine is broke (benefit of the doubt). So he makes the sandwich and hands me it. "Hey, where's the fries?" I ask. He says you didnt ask for fries. Ok so this ain't the first time I've been here and I don't remember falling off any turnip truck recently. I'm already over 10 bucks in and my "combo" doesn't come with fries? I ask for my money back. He looks at me like I got something foreign growing out my forehead and begins to get upset. I tell him I dont care and I'm not going to argue with you, I want my money back. Either he was too stupid to realize what he charged me or his prices have become suddenly too high.
