I am a fan of small local coffee shops. When I discovered this was 15 min from home I said. "Why not?" Glad I came here. It's really cute, cozy and homey. The baristas are kind and take the time to approach their customers asking if they need anything else and if their order was fine. I appreciate that. The coffee...Amazing! I got one of their specialty drinks, the Amorcita and it did not disappoint! It reminded me of a cinnamon roll but not overbearingly sweet and with the tiniest hint of the orange peel they put in there. This is a new place. Give them a chance. The coffee was good, when I say not too sweet (without any adjustments) it's definitely a compliment. The flavor was good but you can taste the lavender but completely can't taste the vanilla and pepper profile (primarily why I chose this drink because it's so unique) . The size is good but for over $7 after tax, I wish I can taste the uniqueness of the drink and not just any other lavender latte. Over all it was a good experience. Tucked away in a small lot, but there's actually a good amount of parking. Nice vibe and a solid spot to get some work done. I didn't see any beans for sale at the time of my visit, but the espresso was good. I had the Armorcita -- the orange peel flavor really stood out, not too sweet, and balanced well. I finally made it to Tacitas Coffee this morning while walking the dogs. Eric welcomed me as soon as i walked in with my 3 dogs and said it was fine to bring them in to place my order. We sat outside on the patio.I really like the vibe and inviting seating inside. I tried the BEC breakfast croissant and their specialty drink, Azteca which is a spiced cacao, that i ordered iced. I really liked the rich cacao flavor and the spicy kick with a touch of cinnamon. The BEC was flavorful, but the croissant was chewy because of it being heated in microwave. I hope as they establish their food menu, that they would consider using a toasted bagel for the BEC, as it would improve the quality and be more filling, as the portion currently is on the small side. All their drinks taste amazing, I love their buzzin brew and Amorcita but they have very creative drink options and their straight coffee is good as well. My friend recommended this little place to me and we met up here to play catch up last weekend. I was surprised when I arrived since so remember when it used to be a different establishment. This is a wonderful local cafe. The baristas are kind and patient, they'll give suggestions if you're unsure what to order. It's a nice place to study, there's some chargers and they have wifi. The decor is super cute and cozy, I love the aesthetic! Food/drinks are really tasty, I quite appreciate the incorporation of hispanic flavors on the drinks. Happy to see a cafe open up just down the street from home! Swung by in the morning to grab myself and my mom some morning drinks. Came around 9ish and it was nice to see them a bit busy with about 2-3 people ahead of me. Parking is a bit limited but not too hard to at least walk over to. Plenty of folks inside just sitting and chatting too. It's very cozy inside and I like their bar seating too (this place was a bar prior to COVID). I think Tacitas leans towards the more Mexican style specialty drinks so their menus got interesting spiced drinks and familiar pastries like conchas and empanadas. The couple running the cafe are very attentive and quick! I grabbed the seasonal trick or chai (and they kindly adjusted to make it a hot drink for me!) and my mom got their Tierra verde. Loved my drink! Mom commented it was a bit too sweet but I'm sure they can make adjustments accordingly or make a regular matcha unsweetened. Plenty of alt milk options too for $1 more. Hope they keep thriving!! Will love to come walk by and sit down to unwind when I can. read more

10/10 would recommend this place. I've searched high and low for good coffee on yelp in my surrounding area. I've gone to Pomona, chino, chino hills, and other coffee shops in diamond bar and have always left wishing the coffee was worth the whopping $9-$10. The customer service was top tier. They helped me customize a coffee I would love (not usual for other coffee shops they normally don't care) This feels family owned so everything feels so personal. Most importantly the flavor of their actual coffee even without syrups and milk is phenomenal. No burnt taste. Not too bitter. The menu is nice. They have a great selection of flavors. And the food! I was really excited to see an independent coffee shop open in DB. We've never really had a good one and I was stoked to finally come try them. I came on a Thursday morning a little before 9 and it wasn't super busy but there was another person who got there when I did and another coming in when I left. The couple who owns the shop were super warm and friendly and quick to take my order. I got an iced amorcita and added a cream top. I also got a pumpkin muffin and the total after tip was around $15, which is definitely a little pricey but I've been seeing a lot of coffee shops pricing their drinks around the $6-7 mark lately so it doesn't seem too off from the current market (just more than we as a society we like lol) This coffee is so good! Espresso isn't burnt, good balance of all the flavors-vanilla, cinnamon, and orange peel are all detectable. It's not too sweet. The cream top added a creaminess without being too rich. I go to a lot of the asian coffee shops in Orange County and I love their drinks but sometimes the cream tops can be super thick and make the drink too rich, and this was a nice change from that. The coffee is very sipable and well balanced. Genuinely one of the better iced lattes I've gotten lately with a flavor profile that is not as common as what's found in the Asian coffee shops. Definitely a more Mexican-style flavor profile with spices and it's a nice change! The interior was nice and I could see it being a good place to get some work done. It's not the most ideal location being in north DB but it's not so out of the way that it would stop me from going and there is parking. I really enjoyed my drink and I'm excited to come back and try more from their menu, they have a lot of cool drinks I'd like to try. I very much hope the community continues to support this shop and the young couple who owns it. We desperately need more places like this in town and I really hope they can make it. read more

Easily top 5 cafe I've been to. I came to the area for work travel and saw the high reviews. I figured I'd give it a try and it did not disappoint. I came at least 3 times. The owner/ employees are super nice, friendly, and helpful. A lot of regulars came by while I checked some emails and they were all addressed by their names (green flag). I tried 4 total drinks and my preference is as follows: 1. Amorcita (an experience: very smooth and tasty) 2. Azteca (more dessert like) or Lavendura (more spring morning vibe) 3. Sal... something with salt, and brown sugar They were all really good, and I did have them with oat milk. I also had their jalapeño/ cream cheese bollio, which is a great addition. They warm it up and I think they get them fresh every day from a local bakery. I didn't try their other food options, but they do have bagels, and some other Mexican bread options. I went in the morning and it was pretty spacious with both work and cozy areas. Will have to come back when I'm nearby! read more

This used to be my go-to spot because they opened at 6am. The service was ok, the coffee was good and the early hours made it worth coming back. Unfortunately, my last visit was really uncomfortable. I asked the male barista a question about the drinks while ordering, and his coworker, who I assume is also his girlfriend, seemed to take it personally. I guess I should've ordered and kept it going lol. When I saw her walking over, I even said hi because she had taken my order before. She did not say hi back and they started making out behind the counter while my drink was being made. It was honestly strange, my only response was to laugh when she looked at me cause it got awkward. I'm just there to get coffee.. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the place has a calming vibe to it. I love all the tchotchkes and decorations. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. The coffee names are adorable. Although there are no sugar free options- the barista suggested customers will usually use Splenda packets instead of the syrups (that are made in house) I ordered the buzzin brew and the jalapeño & cream cheese bolillo (warmed up) the coffee was so delicious I loved the hint of honey. Very smooth! The bolillo was soo soft the bread is definitely fresh. The cream cheese and jalapeño ratio was perfect. I could definitely see this being a spot I frequent. Super cute coffee shop in Diamond Bar!! Interior is cozy and well thought-out. Perfect for a study session or working on a laptop. The staff were very accommodating and adjusted my drink to be a "matcha americano" (trying to cut out dairy and sub milks). The pastries were tasty as well (I ate most of them too quickly and only have a shot of the guava cheese lol). Jalapeño cream cheese bread was fluffy warmed up and filled perfectly (nice ratio of cream cheese and spice from the peppers). Concha was fluffy and moist. Classic.
