Wow their white wines are simply delicious! I liked them all so much it is hard to pick my favorite. I decided on a glass of the wicked white. Light not dry at all and nice flavor. I'm usually a Cabernet drinker and their Malbec was to die for! Sooo very smooth and mellow wow! My boyfriend bought a bottle of the Vidal blanc which was a bit too sour for me. Their wines were around $20 a bottle, they also have wine slushies for $10 a glass. Inside is classy and new looking, they have 2 small bars and a few tables. Outside is beautiful with some picnic tables and a cute porch next to the scenic vineyard. Dogs are allowed outside, not sure about inside. Very impressed with their wines, we will def make another visit!

Love this place! Randomly stumbled upon it and we were so happy we did. Truly a hidden gem. Next time we will bring snacks but they do sell some as well. Such a chill backyard vineyard vibe.

I visit wineries all the time when I travel and from the 5 i was able to visit during our stay, I must say this one is one of the best ones (this is not Napa or Chile) it is Massachussets! So those giving it bad reviews should consider that Massachusetts wine is not the best tasting wine. This is a Beautiful winery! The owner is very knowledgeable about their wines and the tasting room is very pleasant. You can bring your own cheese and salami platters to pair with your wine. The property is beautiful. The wine glasses you get with the tasting are also of good quality. If you are looking for a place to spend a good afternoon This is the place to visit in the heart of Massachusetts. Next time you plan a trip to Boston you can do a stop here and enjoy the beauty! In regards to the actual wine itself, I can't say it was delicious. I only enjoyed one Red. I think their wines are still very young and their winemaker has not perfected the balance in the acidity, tannin, alcohol levels. I must agree with other reviewers that the wine is not there yet. But I think it has potential. I personally think this venue can be great to host events and the views are beautiful and homey feeling. They did a great job with the decor. I still recommend this place if you want to spend a relaxing afternoon not focusing on the wine, versus the experience.

"Walk in as strangers, leave as friends."…read more If that's not a saying that makes you want to head there now, then I don't know what is LOL! Obviously, there is more to the new renovated location of La Cantina than this saying but I will say I was pretty impressed when I saw it and knew I had to add it to my review. Let's just say it is pretty accurate. We did leave as friends since we made a few at the bar and then some. Just saying! La Cantina winery in Franklin, MA used to be a small wine bar that offered wine tasting flights and minimal food. BUT, now it is in a stunning new location (not far from their old stomping grounds). Fun Fact: It used to be a Mechanic garage. Well, wait until you see how it has turned from fixing cars to wine making and tasting. YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE! Parking is easy with plenty of spots. They have a lot of room at their gorgeous bar, but they also have high tops and tables for families or a large group. And, they host events here too; birthday parties, bridal showers, and anything in between, this place is it. I actually want to hold one of my milestone birthday parties here but well keep the number a secret for now. Service: Alana was our bartender and she was wonderful. Always asking us what we needed and how were doing. You don't get this upscale service any where else. And, when I wanted another sample of something she gave it to me without a fuss. Always with a smile on her face, she was the best. Wine: They have an excellent wine menu to choose from and they offer flights for about $25 pp. Flights are the best way to try multiple wines. I personally loved most of the red wines with Petit Sirah being my favorite. My husband loved their Barbera! I did sample their Sauv Blanc too which was nice but it was too cold to have a full pour. Food: Their menu is great with a ton of options from charcuterie, to tapas and some entrees. I will say some of their items can get expensive but definitely worth it. We started with a few cheeses and prosciutto. Then we ordered one of their popular pizzas called La Cantina. Everything was fresh, made in house with their beautiful pizza oven right smack in the middle of the bar. You have got to see this thing, its huge! Overall: If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We had the best time and we can't wait to go back. Franklin is not far from where we live but still a good 30 minute drive and also not far from the Wrentham outlets. We didn't have to make a reservation for a Sunday afternoon but I bet Saturdays can get pretty busy. I just loved everything about this wine bar and I know you will too! Cheers~

We arrived around noon w out a tasting reservation but got lucky there were spots available. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member outside and told us they had a jazz fest going. Music later and complimentary Mardi Gras necklaces etc! We went into the shop for our tasting. Gift shop and wines etc so nicely done arranged available for purchase.. We had a seat at the tasting bar and had a wonderful time choosing and tasting wine and spirits. I love how u can mix and match and try wine spirits beer and canned mixers. $16 pp including a wine glass. We added a cheese cracker plate for $8. Cheese was yummy! Loved it. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. The pours were once ounce and they did feel on the smaller side, and would have preferred a tasting w a bit more but that's just me! Highly recommend, will do the wine tour next time. We had reservations at J's Restaurant which was excellent. Afterwards we sat at a table to listen to the live jazz music. There was a QR code to order food and drinks. Will definitely give that a try next time. Beautiful location and staff always smiling.

But thought that since we were on the first row that we could still easily find a place to sit and have a good time. The signage was a bit confusing on where to go for a tasting flight, as all arrows on a faded board were pointing up a hill, when we actually wanted to go to the building that all we saw was a sign that said employees only. We finally got our flights, but there was nowhere to sit, as the picnic tables were full, and there wasn't much flat ground to set up our folding chairs. We were offered a seat at a picnic table by some very nice people, who were just as confused as us until someone offered them their table. We tried our wines, which were okay, and left. It was just an awkward setup and there seemed to be lots of confusion on where people were supposed to go.

The winery is open 12-4 on weekends and allows you to bring in your own food, which was the perfect way for us to enjoy some local wine in a beautiful setting. There is seating inside the house, outside on a covered patio area, and they have tables scattered across the lawn so there are many options to pick from. We each decided on a wine flight before selecting some bottles and paired it with the snack trays we brought from home and we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon together on the grounds of this vineyard. One thing to note, the road to the winery is very narrow so they employ a metered light system at the beginning of the road. It's important to wait for the red light to turn off before driving down the narrow stretch. The person in front of me didn't do this and ended up having to back up (reverse) down a narrow and winding path to allow the incoming cars (who had the right of way) through. For visitors with mobility needs, there is a grass parking lot and lots of cobblestones and lose rock to navigate during your time here, so be mindful of that. There are a few stairs in order to gain entry into the house to shop/select the wines and the bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.
