Taco 900 catered my son and daughter-in-law's fiesta baby shower on November 2, 2019, for 40 guests. They used authentic stoneware for the warmers and serving dishes. We had more than enough food that you could possibly need and it was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and authentic. They will work with you for menu modifications with no problems. We had to have the main meal all gluten-free with rice and beans that were also vegan. This was our taco/nacho bar menu: Shredded chicken breast and beef taco meat Refried beans and rice Shredded chicken taquitos Three salsas: very hot black salsa, medium tomatillo salsa, red mild salsa Fresh guacamole Toppings were shredded lettuce & cheese, radishes, black olives, tomato, green onions, cilantro, spicy pickled onion Fresh chips Desserts: blue conchas, flan, fresh stuffed churros Drinks: Jamaica, cucumber mint lemonade The staff is phenomenal and Ari the owner is so very kind and accommodating. As for the price, it is extremely reasonable. Especially for what you're getting. They delivered the food and set everything up and left the extra in a warmer. They also have pizza 900 which we have gone to the restaurant and eaten and it's fantastic and very authentic. The gluten-free pizza is excellent. For starters, this place is very hard to locate because it has limited signage. Secondly, it's very odd that the Taco 900 space is actually closed and you go into the adjoining pizza place (Pizza 900) to order mexican food from a menu you must lookup on the internet. The guy who helped us was nice. My mom and I both ordered two tacos and chips plate (no rice or beans.) The 'salsa' is completely thin and has little flavor. The chips were fresh and crisp. My carne asada tacos were fresh and pretty good - the meat was tender. My chicken in my mom's tacos were dry and flavorless. Lime wedges with tacos would be helpful. The atmosphere of this place is horrible. This review would be a one star, but my carne asada warranted a second star. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even if I told them exactly how to find it! read more

Considering my love for Pizza 900, I had to try Ari's next venture! Living in Laguna Hills, we don't exactly have a ton of good Mexican food. Most places are around the quality of Wahoo's, Fresca's, or other places like this. Unlike others, I also don't like the other place that's right by Pizza 900. Bring in Taco 900! I decided to order it last night, and was really glad I did! My wife got the carnitas nachos and I got the steak nachos. We also ordered the jackfruit taquitos to try. On getting the order, all of the sauces came on the side while the meat, beans, and cheese were on the nachos. This was really nice because you didn't end up with soggy nachos upon delivery! The meats were really good. The carnitas were full of flavor and moist. Most places suffer from dry carnitas (especially in this area). The steak was also moist and was loaded with flavor! I also really liked the beans that were on the nachos. I didn't want to stop eating, but had to (because I finished the whole thing!). The jackfruit taquitos were perfectly fried and were also really good. The big highlight for me were the salsas! I don't know which ones I had for sure, but the spicy one was really, really good! I noticed they have larger sizes you can order. Next time, I need to get the salsa as a side because I want more just to have! Do yourself a favor and order Taco900! read more

We ordered food for our office for Cinco de Mayo and we couldn't have been happier! Everything was super tasty but the chicken tacos were particularly popular. The salsas were top tier especially their verde salsa. From a customer service standpoint, Ari called us to confirm our order and was super quick to respond when we had a question about the delivery. OMG amazing Mexican food! Everything we have ordered has been delicious! Our favorite has to be the hefe burrito - 3 of us split it and we have leftovers. It has every kind of meat in there, rice, beans, etc..... it has yummy kick to it and every time we order it my husband says that it is the best burrito he has ever had. This is place is the place to go for super delicious tacos. Both Taco 900 and Pizza 900 share a kitchen, and food from either menu is out of this world. My husband and I have enjoyed a few of their pizzas, really scrumptious, with fresh toppings and crust as you like it. We decided to try their tacos the other day and they were so darn good. Protein was cooked to perfection, vegetables were plentiful and the salsa, OMG! To die for. We had complimentary pickled onions and carrots, so darn good. We actually came in without realizing it was catering only and we're lucky enough that's they allowed us to get some of their Mexican food. The owner I believe was so incredibly hospitable. I used to manage restaurants for about 10 yrs and let me tell you. Although it may not give you the impression of how great everything will be. The level of service and quality of food here is fantastic absolute sleeper of a restaurant. They're expanding with their catering Mexican food and hopefully soon enough it will be an always thing! Vegan and vegetarian friendly which is awesome! For myself and my fiancé as we like to stick to our preference. We enjoyed the jackfruit enchiladas and wow was I surprised! Enchiladas aren't really all that exciting of a food as a concept but these guys are really killing it here. So delicious! I usually LOVE this place and the carnitas but my last order had a new type of carnitas that were definitely not the ones from a few months ago. Chef Ari is a hospitable person and takes great interest in his recommendations. He suggested the Jackfruit Burrito which is out of the world. I really liked the food. I ordered tacos, a quesadilla, and a couple bowls. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh and they definitely don't skimp on the salsas (which are really good)! The only reason I didn't give a five was because the cheese on everything was mozzarella. For me mozzarella is perfect for Italian but not so much for mexican food..
