I'm writing this because it occurs to me that perhaps a couple preceding reviewers may have frequented this establishment with unrealistic expectations. You have to see Taco Bell in realistic terms, people. You had bad service? OK, so come back tomorrow - employees change here every 15 minutes. You waited too long in the drive-through? Maybe you were dealing with trainees, maybe somebody accidentally dumped the beans into the nacho sauce, or maybe your stars are just temporarily malaligned. The bottom line is, you filled your gut for dirt cheap. Your kids probably didn't mind the wait, they were probably playing games on the phones you gave them far before they were old enough. If you don't like Taco Bell, fine - go pay way more, and wait far longer, for gourmet food your kids are gonna hate. It's Taco Bell. Think of it accordingly. read more

I've come to the conclusion the staff makes the orders wrong on purpose. I have not come to this conclusion swiftly or lightly. They also don't put cinnamon on the cinnamon twists. Surprised by the low reviews, as I had a pleasant drive thru experience. Ordered a couple items, including one I had been waiting to try for a while - the chicken power bowl. I ordered my first Taco Bell yesterday - a Chalupa Supreme. I expected it to look a lot like its picture, with meat filling about 1/3rd of the shell (from the bottom up), especially for $4.39. Imagine my surprise when it arrived and the meat was actually a small dribble across the bottom, about 1/4 of what the picture showed. @tacobell 21 July at appx 10:30 p. m., we ordered ONLINE 4 burritos at 2.79 apiece from the Taco Bell, Tunnel Rd., Asheville location. The price was confirmed by phone. They over-debited us appx $3 because they charged my card $14.72. Not the first irksome abuse by that location. Now they owe us & we collect. In addition if you order ONLINE, they immediately debit your account. If it takes 10 minutes to get there, why do you have to wait another 10 minutes at their window for the food you paid for while they dilly dally? So much for fast food! We live just down the street. And btw, their mediocre food has been known to be served right out of the freezer. I know from experience. I think I'll picket the location but never go there for food again. read more

I went through the drive through ten minutes before they closed. Sat in the drive thru about five minutes with no response. Drove up to the window with no response. Honked the horn and waved directly AT the staff working who saw me with no response. There were two employees working behind the counter. Called and spoke to the shift manager who said they closed 30 minutes early due to staffing. I worked at this location when I was in high school back in the day and you do not need more than two crew members and one shift manager to run the closing night shift. I didn't feel the need to mention this but I did focus on the rudeness and said I waved directly at the staff who saw me and was not even acknowledged and I asked why I was ignored and stated that I also honked and was ignored. She literally said "okay" and HUNG UP ON ME and when I called back she ignored answering the phone. This location, or at least these three staff members, have the most unprofessional demeanor I have ever experience at a Taco Bell location. Most embarrassing experience ever with my guest. They should be fired for their unprofessionalism. At minimum the shift manager who worked on 5/14/22's closing shift should be given a final and the staff retrained. Completely unacceptable. I lodged a complaint with corporate and will never forget how I was treated this visit. read more

The manager on duty when I had an issue with a missing item was very professional and nice and made the crunchwrap himself and apologized to make it right. And more fillings of meet when i order a meat option. Again I understand this is fast food but this particular Taco Bell delivered me a very poor meal. I have been going to this location for awhile. I have never seen it as bad off as when I went the other day. It gets pretty bad but let's start off with something small. They were out of mild sauce. I would think that'd be a simple staple that would stay in stock. Then we asked why there was no Baja Blast available on the soda fountain and we were told they ran out. I later heard another customer ordering something from the menu & she was also told her item was out. That's some pretty poor stocking of items. Moving on to the staff, the cashier seemed very sick. She was sniffling constantly and must have sneezed while taking our order something like ten times. I am not exaggerating. It was disgusting. I couldn't imagine why a manager would let somebody that sick deal with customers, handle & exchange money, or even come in to work at all! I later watched her blow her nose & then directly put on plastic gloves with the same unwashed hands she had just blown her nose with. Then I started to notice commotion. Voices were rising as some squabble broke out in the kitchen. The whole dining room could hear the tiff. It ended w/ the cashier storming out for a break. Only...they seemingly had no other cashier for the dining room. Time kept passing and the staff had NO idea where the cashier had gone and was worried what would happen when customers started piling up (I could hear most of what was said as I tried to eat in the dining room). They stuck some poor guy at the register & I think I heard them tell him he could take the order but not the money. He began frantically looking around the dining room for the cashier that had left. He left the register and physically started searching for her. Customers were now waiting for their order to be taken. Eventually the cashier came back. The arguing in the kitchen was enough to make the dining experience quite awkward. I don't know if that's how it is there every day but I do know it will be a long time before we consider this location again, if ever. read more

I often go to this Taco Bell as a vegetarian and they mess up my order almost every single time. Even if I ate meat, I would not eat that mess they call ground beef there. Like today, I ordered a Cheesy Potato Burrito. Now I have had the Cheesy Potatoes (in a bowl) before and they contained no meat. So I saw that they had the same thing in burrito form and decided to try it. About half way down I bit into a huge chunk of ground beef. Why would something that contains the words "cheesy potato burrito" and in a different form in vegetarian, suddenly have a wad on "ground beef" plopped into the end of it? I also ordered another item, substituting beans instead of meat (which they always seem perfectly happy to do this) and I find little bits of meat sprinkled throughout the bean mash. It is gross, misleading, and a horrifying experience for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. In fact, my meat-eating boyfriend was so enraged on my behalf that he called the location to complain, but they claimed they did everything by the book. And if they don't accidently put meat onto your food, then they might end up giving you just the entirely the wrong order. This also happens to me on a regular basis (usually as I'm driving away from the drive-thru and end up biting into something I didn't order). After this final experience I am never going there again. read more

It doesn't matter what the cost of a meal, a car, a vacuum cleaner etc... is, its about SERVICE. If you work for YOUR money, and you want to spend YOUR money, you should, at the least, be treated courteously. What happened to "SERVICE"? This is a miserable place to order a meal. The best part of the overall service is the clean-up man. He was polite. I will NEVER spend one more of my worked for dollars at this particular establishment. I absolutely refuse to pay their salaries. I would only be condoning and accepting their rudeness. Try putting a smile on your face, even if your having a bad day.
