I typically experience this Taco Bell with negative results... but if I'm going to complain and keep going back, I need to praise when due. Today the service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh (as fresh as TacoBell can be) and at the correct temperature. This one is right down the road from me, and we have been going here for almost 12 years. Why do we keep torturing ourselves, you ask? Because it's so close, that's why. But the last visit was the final straw. Not only are their items consistently smaller in size than any other Taco Bell I have ever been to in my entire life (60 years) (Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Illinois), but the customer service at this location has always lacked. No thank yous, no eye contact, no how are you today, no nothing ... EVER! But the straw I mentioned ... the Burrito Supreme I ordered tasted like someone had sprinkled sugar all over it. It was the worst thing I had ever tasted from any Taco Bell. I half-wondered if someone did just out of spite or as a joke or something. I opened it and didn't see any sweetener, but man, there was something sweet in it, and it didn't taste right at all. The taco meat had a funky flavor to it, as well. Placed an order on the app and paid. I got to the restaurant and was notified that they were only doing DoorDash orders. I explained my order had already been paid for. I was told she couldn't help me because she was the only employee there. That I would have to come back and discuss with a manager which is ludicrous! Time after time after time we go and they mess up our order, whether it is adding cheese when we ask not to since we are vegan or just not giving us everything we ordered. Tonight was the worst, got our food to go and while checking it in the car like we always do, we noticed that the complete order was wrong! They had items in the bag that we didn't even order and the burritos were super tiny. Any other Taco Bell in this area doesn't mess up our order, but this one can't seem to get it right. Everything was good, up until we got to our 3 steak quesadillas and 1 Mexican pizza. The quesadillas weren't completely cooked and had lettuce and some onion pieces in it. There were also burnt charred pieces all over the quesadillas and it tasted bad. The beans were bad in the Mexican pizza, and even after I spit it out into the bag, the taste lingered on and under my tongue. I had to go quickly eat something else to get rid of the taste. The cashier, Stacey B (according to my receipt) acted like we inconvenienced her by coming late. Well, if your still open, you still have to do your job. I feel like she was messing stuff up on purpose. I asked for 3 chicken soft tacos. She tried to ring up shredded chicken tacos. I told her that I wanted the regular chicken, not shredded. So she put - chicken + chicken & it came up to like $13. Sorry, but no one in their right mind would pay $13 for 3 taco bell tacos. I let my fiancé place his order & stated that I would go elsewhere. She said, "There's nothing I can do about it. That's how they teach us how to do it." I stated that I would place a call to the district manager, Rick Foyer & she said, "Good, cuz I think its dumb too.", then got a worried look on her face. She also forgot our drinks. Luckily for her, I forgot to call. Now I feel that its been to long ago to call on this issue, but hopefully she's since been fired. If you get anything with rice in it after about 8pm, expect it to be old & hard as hell. Unfortunately for us, this is the only open near us this late at night.
