Went through the drive thru ordered 2 chalupas (we had to tell her twice it was two chalupas, not a single chalupa supreme). Once we received the bag of food and paid we got a block away and had to drive back to get the second chalupa we originally ordered. While waiting around 3 minutes for one chalupa we witnessed one of the employees on the food line eating off the line with his gloved hand and returning to work with the same CONTAMINATED glove. Ordered 2 rice and bean burritos online and was told on the app it was completed when I was arriving. I walked into the store to pick up and there is no order. I talked to the night manager who wasn't on shift yet bc there was a Mangement meeting. Took 5mins of standing before I was asked if I had been helped by employees on shift. Told them my order and was told they were backed up and it would be a couple minutes. For 30mins as they are making huge Togo orders one after another I spoke up as where my food was, to be told they don't have it in their system. I understand that but this was a poor display of management, teamwork, and hospitality. Absolutely the worst Taco Bell in the valley. Went up to get my order, and was told to use the kiosk, and I tried to ask about using cash and the lady walked away. Then they took 14 minutes before even coming back up to to the counter. Lady dropped my Quesadilla on the floor picked up the metal tray used for cooking and just stared at it. Mess wasn't cleaned up. She touched the floor with her gloves on then continued to make a new quesadilla for me. No clean gloves. My coworker also got food made and was very disappointed. The food was made sloppy. I know it's taco-bell, I didn't expect much, but this is a whole new low. Lady that brought my food up slammed it down sighed and said "here, 1 quesadilla" in a very annoyed voice. Forgot the hot sauce we both ordered. No sour cream either, which both of us paid for. Giving this a 5 star review in the context of it being a Taco Bell. Don't expect 5 star food, but my experiences here are always great. First off, I always order very complicated items as I do not consume dairy/meat. Thus I have to substitute. It is a great fast food restaurant if you follow a vegan/vegetarian diet! That being said, with my complicated order and frequent trips, they have NEVER messed up an order at this location. I order via the app because it is much easier to make substitutions and they still do a wonderful job.
