    Asada Taco
    Ashley F.

So I'm always on the hunt for some good quesabirria and tacos in general. We've tried tons of taco places, so here's my pros/cons list: Pros: - Had the cheese pull and the perfect amount of cheese (Not overbearing or overflowing) - The birria meat was tender, good quality, and honestly a hefty amount (A++) - The taco shells were solid and not falling apart due to it being over saturated - The asada had pretty good flavor (maybe slightly too much on the lime side though) - The consume was pretty good and was not heavy at all in the cinnamon (we've visited a lot of places that are super heavy on the cinnamon for some reason. It shouldn't be the star of the show in my opinion, but rather a subtle/complimentary note. It was slightly overpowering on the lime side) Cons: - The asada meat quality seemed slightly low grade - The quesabirria was not crunchy in the slightest bit... something I'm always looking for after trying some top notch tacos in Cali - It was missing a little more flavor (I will say that we missed the hot sauce bar, so that could've added that additional flavor that was missing) Would we visit here again? Yes! And I would definitely try it with the sauces next time haha.

I was in the mood for some quesabirria today so I stopped into Taqueria Las Brazas today. Walked in and nobody was really up front. It did take a minute for someone to come out. When someone did, i was greeted with the most beautiful smile and hello! I appreciate how genuine she was greeting me. I had a couple questions about the menu. She answered them, got my goodies ordered and went on my way to find a table. I must have just missed the rush cause a majority of the tables were dirty. Dirty with food, cups and plates. I found a smaller table and just hung out till my food was ready. For lunch I ordered a carne asada taco, shredded beef taco and a quesabirria taco. At first look these babies were stacked! There was so much meat in eat taco. They were not lacking for sure! I grabbed some fresh lime and green salsa from the sauce bar. I started off with the quesabirria taco. It was hearty with birria meat. It was tender and flavorful! The carne asada taco was topped with fresh onion and cilantro. The meat was savory and abundant! I didn't get a chance to try the shredded beef taco just yet, I was too full. I did enjoy the flavors of the meat but the carne asada was on the dryer side. Adding lime and salsa did help but it was hard to chew. The quesabirria taco shell a a little too soft for me. I would have like a crispier texture to the corn tortilla. It also lacked cheese. There was no cheese pull what so ever. I'm happy that they sell single quesabirria tacos. It was nice to try it out at this joint. My first impression of this place wasn't the best considering the place was dirty. The food was decent but you get a lot of bang for your buck which is nice in today's economy. But I will give credit to the great customer service is was given!

CARNITAS AND ADOBADA. 99 CENTS EACH

They have better pricing than most for 3 quesobirria tacos. Under $10. They have beer. Their weekday special is 99 cent tacos from 2 to 6 with a good choice of fillings. Salsa bar. They have menudo every day with hominy (unlike many other places). The menudo is a bit pricey (over $13). Tried the carnitas and adobada. Both good. Super fresh tortillas. Salsa bar has hot to mild salsas. Definitely a good deal during their 99 cent hours. Clean place, good parking, lots of tables.

Hello Fine People of Yelpers! This taqueria is fairly new. Went there with my Honey Buns. We place the order at the counter. I ordered a wet carnitas burrito meal and he ordered a regular carnitas burrito. Was so nice they had horchata as a refillable option by the soda machine! Honey wanted to know what was roasting behind them. Was Al Pastor, said the nice man behind the counter. We did our order, got our drinks, and I asked the young man for a sample of the Al Pastor. He did bring it to the table and it was wonderful! Can't wait to go back again just for that in a dish!

Las Brazas we love you!! The go-to place for mexican food in Boise. The tacos Al carbon are a fave. They are usually pretty quick making the food and pretty quick to order via yelp too. Pretty chill resturant, nothing fancy.

Great food with amazing flavors. Sauces were just ok except for the habanero sauce, that is bomb. Good portion size and solid value.

The burger itself was outstanding--perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the toppings were balanced just right without overwhelming the burger. Even the bun was soft yet held everything together perfectly, which is something a lot of places overlook. What really stood out was the attention to detail across the whole meal. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and everything came out hot and fresh without a long wait. It's clear this place cares about consistency and customer experience. Whether you're just stopping in for a quick bite or looking for a go-to burger spot, this place absolutely delivers. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending it to anyone who appreciates a truly great burger. Location is fun with other restaurants nearby. Must visit!

It was always busy every time I stopped in. With my new kidney, I wanted to be cautious with the amount of people I'm around. Now that Raising Canes has been open for a hot minute, I felt like the crowd to be a lot smaller and safer for me to be inside the dining area. Greg helped us today at the register. He was really patient with us since it was my husband's first time eating there. I snagged the 3 piece naked combo and my husband got the chicken sandwich. He is a cheese lover so he was bummed that he couldn't add cheese to his sandwich but he still had high hopes that it will be good. My husband's meal did come out first. For some reason they dropped the ball on my meal. There were quite a few people that got their meals ahead of me that ordered after us. I wasn't sweating it but I knew Greg was on top of it. As soon as my food was ready, Greg hand delivered my meal which was nice since they usually call you up to grab your food. It was nice that Greg made sure we were aware that he didn't forget about me. What I noticed last time I ate at RC was how small the tenders were when you ordered them naked. I only got the tenders last time and at 2 bucks a tender, I really felt like I was being ripped off. Today I got the 3 piece naked but was given 4 pieces of chicken. Honestly, I don't know if I got the extra piece of chicken for them dropping the ball or because the chicken tenders were small. I guess the next time we come in, that will answer my million dollar question. While we were eating, Greg dropped off another sandwich meal for us to take home. He wanted to make sure that our experience was good since it was my husband's first meal there. I appreciate that Greg went above and beyond to make sure we left happy. The customer service Greg gave us today was fantastic! Only if all customer service can be like Greg's. I know a lot of businesses would prosper! I enjoyed the vibe of RC. The dico balls, the music and the chill atmosphere of the joint. It was fun experiencing all of that with my husband. My chicken was tender. The fries were crispy and salty. I got to see what the hype was all about with the bread and Canes sauce. I'm happy I waited to eat inside so I can actually get the whole experience. I look forward to coming back and having more naked tendies.

It's been about a year since we have eaten here and I remember the zucchini fries being so good! My burger looked fabulous! The zucchini fries had a nice golden crust to them. I was ready to dig in. I would have liked to put ketchup and mustard on my burger but unfortunately there were no to go packets of either. I can't really use communal sauces so I had to pass on adding sauce to my burger or be able to dip my husband's fries in ketchup. My burger was tasty. I did order it with extra onions and didn't really get any extra. I also don't remember my zucchini fries being so minimal to an order. The side I got today had about 6 rounds in it. As an additional cost, I honestly thought it would be more than 6 small rounds. It's been a year since we have eaten here. The food was good as usual. I do enjoy all the pinball machines that you can play on. The staff is nice. I appreciate that everything we ate today was locally sourced. I am sure we will be back again soon.
