I stopped here with my husband the other night. We've been here several times, on our way to or from visiting family up north. This time, when we entered, we immediately noticed the ordering kiosks (3 of them) and no employee behind the counter at the cash register. There was still a register at the counter so maybe we could have ordered there, but we didn't see any staff appearing to man it the whole time of our visit, so I'm not sure. We used the kiosk and while that was adequate, it took WAY more time to order than if we were talking to someone who knew what they were doing. I also hate the aspect of cutting jobs to replace people with computers, and would much prefer ordering from a human being. Our food order took a little longer than I expected, but it was hot, freshly made, and accurate. We ate inside, and the seats were some of the most hard, uncomfortable seats I've ever had to endure. I know they don't want you to linger, but this was nearly painful. Restroom was fine, and the young woman we did interact with to get our food was friendly and polite. I'll stop here again because they have gluten free options and they're right off the 101, but I hate the new ordering system and dining in is sort of awful. read more

The menu is...meh. The service...well...that's not great either, this place has gone right down the tubes, especially since the pandemic. Like so many others, they got on the greed train and raised prices into the stratosphere while cutting portions. $21.00 for two people is ridiculous for meals that should have come to MAYBE $11.00. Then there's the depressing decor. My God people, who DIED? There was nothing wrong with the traditional cheerful Taco Bell decor of oranges, reds, and yellows, and the booths with spacious tables, but they had to "reimagine" it. It is now a featureless box painted grey and black, the interior an industrial combination of hard surfaces, galvanized metal, black iron stools and black iron tiny tables, designed to be uninviting and uncomfortable so people will shove their food down their throats and get out. The exterior is now an anonymized box painted black and grey that is just soul-sucking. The whole place looks like they're in mourning. Combine the hideous remodel job with the overpriced food and crummy service and it's a hard "no" for our household...and we were pretty dedicated Taco Bell customers for YEARS. I even remember the BellBeefer...which they NEVER should have discontinued, and should bring back. Unfortunately it would probably be $12.00 now, so there's that. This has got to be the worst ran establishment I've ever been to and Taco Bell fails to hold anyone responsible. Was visiting from out of town and stopped here on the way to the hotel since it was one of the few places left open at 9:30pm. Made my mobile order and showed up 20 minutes later. Decided to go inside instead of drive thru thinking it would be quicker. Big NOPE. Walked in and no one at the counter so decided to sit and wait a bit since the app said it was still just received. Waited a good 15 minutes and mind you that whole time still no one at the counter. Finally asked someone about my order, young girl with glasses, and she said, "Oh we'll get that order started for you." I asked why the order wasn't started and she said, "Well you didn't check in with us so we don't start orders until then." NO WHERE on the app or at the counter does it say that. They also have a WHOLE SECTION on their counter to pick up mobile orders. Fine, she said it would be ready in 10 minutes so we waited some more. Another 20 minutes go by. People have come and gone, EVEN PICKING UP MOBILE ORDERS and nothing. I also watched how other customers were treated with the same type of horrible customer service skills. We said something again and again got excuses such as, "You have a big order so you need to give us time to make it. Sorry but that's just how it is." That's why we did mobile order!!!! Almost an hour since the order was placed and NOTHING!!! We finally get our order and as we're grabbing it a guys runs up throwing more things in there. We said something again about how long the wait was and how terrible the service was and all we got was another made up excuse about how we need to check in. I told them that no where on the app nor at the counter does it say that and what's the purpose of mobile ordering and again she just goes, "Sorry, don't know what to tell you." THEN the guy who threw food in the bag goes, "We got a problem here?" and my dad did say, "Yes the service was horrible." this wannabe hardass goes, "Well maybe next time you order the correct way then." Are you kidding me?? So I did send in a complaint and it just gets WORSE. I receive an email back with no indication on who this lady is or where she is from. Just another weak apology. Then to top it all off I get a voicemail from the location's manager apparently saying, "We can either remake your food OR offer you a taco OR soda IF you want." My goodness I don't know how this place is staying in business. I literally laughed out loud after listening to it. Such a lack of accountability, customer service and just a bunch of kids who hate their job and simply don't care. I'm being generous giving this place a 2-star rating. For the last 5 years I've been stopping once a month at this Taco Bell. At one time I would have given Taco Bell a 4-star rating. Since that time, I've watched this store go down the tubes. The store is manned by maybe three employees. Ordering food is all mechanical via their app. or by using the in-store display. I've always had issues with this location but cut them some slacks previously. Today, I've had it. Mind you, it was only 3:30pm today and there were no customers when I arrived. When I pulled up to the drive thru, I waited almost a full minute until I was "greeted". Every single time I go to this location, all of the employees have no personality, don't try to be pleasant, smile, or anything. They are not friendly or customer service oriented. Once I was greeted, I could hear the other workers in the background messing around, which is probably why my customized request wasn't heard correctly. I did not happen to look at the board to make sure my order was correct, so that part is on me. But, I didn't realize how bad the food was until I was already commuting home on my 30 minute drive. I ordered 3 Spicy Potato Soft Tacos and a Bean Burrito, no onion, add extra cheese and red sauce. The potatoes in my soft tacos were so old/hard, I thought I was going to chip tooth. The lettuce had a reddish tint, like when it's getting old. One taco had no sauce. The other way too much. The bean burrito tasted like it was just beans, no sauce or cheese. Once I got home, I looked at my receipt and the guy had put no onion or red sauce. The employees that work here are all either teenagers or young adults. They do not possess any customer service qualities. I am a loyal Taco Bell customer and visit Taco Bell locations multiple times in a month. I will not go back to this location. Perusing our flimsy dinner options at 10:30pm upon a late hotel check-in... would we have overpriced bad sushi or Chinese or pizza or Pea soup? For starters: It's Taco Bell so my thoughts are how it is compared to other Taco Bells more than anything. I'm not a frequent visitor, by any means, but I've been to this Taco Bell twice in the last 9 months or so and both times the food was really good and the service was way above what I'd have expected. One great example was when we went there about a month or two ago and the (tall, young) man behind the counter was very courteous, attentive and quick. Then, in between customers, that t same person from behind the counter went around the restaurant to make clean up any debris and make sure things looked clean and nice. I felt I needed to come on here and defend this business because I saw some bad reviews- including one where the reviewer said that although the food was good, she could have made better at home (references her "taco bar") and proceeded to give 2 stars. How is that even relevant? It's Taco Bell, people. Long story short- good, solid Taco Bell with solid service. If you're hankering for a "run for the border" it's a good option. read more

First, it's Taco Bell. So you know what you like and what to expect. I don't like sitting in the car breathing fumes, so I always go inside. Service is also as you would expect at a Taco Bell - mostly good-to-very-good service staff, with an occasional lazy person mixed in. The food here is always as expected. But the coffee here is unexpectedly good. If I'm in the area and running low on caffeine, I stop here for their coffee plus their as-expected basically good Taco Bell viands. read more
