It comes with three but it's not much. The beans and rice was 5/5 as well. They don't give you a big portion, which is good but just enough food. The salsa and chips are good as well. I honestly didn't know this Mexican restaurant existed until my cousin brought me here. It's tucked away and kind of hidden amongst all the bakeries, but just look up for the hanging sign next to Mad Hatter. It's easy to get distracted walking in a touristy area, so you'll miss it if not paying attention! The restaurant itself is small, but there's indoor seating and a few tables outside. Luckily on our visit the restaurant wasn't too busy. I decided to order chicken enchiladas. The prices here are very reasonable for what you get. The enchiladas were delicious! My son ordered the cheese pupusas, which I was able to try and they were perfect. I would definitely order those myself. My cousins enjoyed their meals as well. Our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. I was surprised how fast we were served, yet the food was satisfactory. Overall, a great little spot to satisfy your Mexican food needs. A great restaurant to get away from the crowds. It's tucked away at a prime spot near the iconic Solvang Windmill. There's a few tables indoors and "outdoors". Service is welcoming. My boyfriend ordered the enchiladas plate while I ordered the carnitas tacos plate. He thought the food was a bit salty though it's a great portion for the price. We came right before closing and had their delicious food. All home made. Chips and Salsa, steak enchiladas, Chicken fajitas. Reasonable prices and just right amount of food. Friendly service. The city was having their Christmas parade this weekend. We were starving and there were so many people everywhere we ended up Don Nachos Café , which was good idea because the we enjoyed our burritos all the little small for the price . They were very good. They have nice and spicy sauce that you can ask for which is orange in color, so if you want something a little spicier. we enjoyed our meal. Some of the best food comes from hard to find hole in the all restaurants and Don Nacho's is a great example of this. I kept hearing about a Mexican place I need to try in Solvang and could never find it. This year I made it a point to locate it and I was not disappointed it is a small place inside the arcade of a larger building. I had the fajitas which were cooked to perfection my partner also enjoyed her enchiladas service was quick and friendly the only thing that really kept it from five stars is I would say the portions are smaller than you would usually see but it was still very filling. Always meant to try Don Nachos and finally got to this trip. Great place for takeout. I always judge based on the chips and these were incredibly fresh and had an amazing salt ratio. Guac tasted fresh. Would have loved if the tacos were available a la carte since I never really eat the rice and beans on the platter, but the al pastor and asada street tacos tasted great with the green salsa. Was in town on business recently and looking for some food, and came across this little cafe. Im a little surprised by all the five star reviews? Honestly this is very basic cal-mex street tacos, nothing bad just not like omg these are the best tacos ive ever eaten - they were again just basic average street tacos. The same with the sides, basic rice and refried beans. Putting fresh cilantro and onions on a taco do not define a great taco. The same with chips standing up in basic refrieds, its beans. A few things to know, they are located in the heart of Solvang so enjoy a nice walk around after you eat or try to ice cream shop next door for dessert. Parking can be a little tricky during peak time. Seating is limited with about 5 tables , but the food came out quick and they kept the tables cleaned so you could sit down quickly as people left. The chips were good, too; super thick and crispy. And the service was quick and helpful. Decent place. The l thing is, my conception of Mexican restaurants is skewed based on whether chips and salsa are complementary or not; it seems like a small detail BUT I believe it shows that a place really values their customers and want them to continue to visit, or at least (seeing as though it's a tourist town) leave with a good impression of the place. But Don Nacho's not only had no free chips and salsa, but when we ordered a side of them it was over $4...
