There were also plenty of large chunks of tripe. Depending on how you like your menudo, that could be a positive or negative. Personally, I prefer my tripe cut into smaller pieces. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend Burrito Lalo to anyone looking for a good bowl of menudo in Buellton. My only advice is to make sure you tell them exactly how you like your menudo, especially the size and amount of tripe and hominy. That part was my mistake for not asking. Excellent service throughout the years. I was born and raised in the valley. I love coming here sitting in the back patio enjoying my peaceful dinner every other week. However, today I think the strong accent white lady that's been working in this restaurant for a while now jeopardized my coming. It was somewhat chilly outside this afternoon so decided to sit in doors. And she enters into the soda machine indoor site where I was sitting to tell me to leave the room because she was cleaning. She didn't even say it in a nice way or please at least. I had no other choice then to leave outside in the cold. While the whole time the short cashier just stood there watching how rude her coworker was. She could have stood up for me but she didn't. Very unpleasant night, on top of that they took off the salsa bar before closing time. This used to be my favorite restaurant. read more

My son and I just had their ground beef enchilada special. We both had spaghetti meat inside of tortillas with some green sauce on top and sour cream. It was like spaghetti soup with some tortillas wrapped around the top. This was my giving them another chance day after we had their taco special a week or two ago which was the greasiest, nastiest taco I'd ever had. Great food! Both locations. I recently been disappointed with the staff in solvang. So I decided to make my way from solvang to the Buellton location. I have heard people in the valley talk about this location. How the lady in the front is very rude I discarded that and went. I came out disappointed. That lady needs to be fired. Very rude. If you want to come here and have a bad day come to Taco Roco Buellton to see deisy. She's making this business go downhill. No wonder nobody in the valley comes in when she's working. I'll let my friends and family never to come back to this place while deisy is working in this location. read more

I been a customer for years for the first time I got disgusted with the food manager in the kitchen. He kept sneezing all over the food constantly without no hesitation saying " thank you thank you. " In my honest opinion, he shouldn't be doing that he is contaminating all the food he didn't even bother sneezing on his arm. How disgusting is that. Very disappointed, I was in the middle of ordering. I wanted to cancel my order due to that but I had to take my workers food since they have a 30 minute lunch break. He might have just jeopardized coming to this restaurant. read more
