This location is slightly better under new management but there's still a huge quality issue. Items never have enough ingredients. We moved from San Marcos and that TB is the best. We still eat here once a week but we're always disappointed. read more

They are always understaffed and even when they have a decent amount of staff you can expect to wait 15+ mins for your food. This is the worst Taco Bell I have ever visited! I ordered my food, in-store, at 10:13 PM and did not receive it until 10:53 PM. My experience was not the only poor one. Two gentlemen asked for a refund because they had not received their food after waiting for 35 minutes. I was also sitting by the window and the cars were parked there for just as long. Multiple people were getting out of their cars to complain about the slow service as well. When we finally got a hold of the manager she said, "what would you like me to do?" Very little, if any, of an apology was given. She didn't offer much assistance and said this should be expected for a restaurant on a Saturday night. I normally do not expect to wait 40 minutes at a Taco Bell during anytime period on any given day. Do not come eat here! Slowest "Fast" food experience to ever. Went here since it's across the street from my work to get a couple of bean burritos and tacos for myself and a coworker. The people ordering when I got there were at the register for at least 5 minutes. There were 3 people behind them and then myself. Lots of people standing around who had ordered and waiting. At least 5. After I ordered, it took 23 minutes to get my simple order! Twenty-three minutes for this shi*! One guy actually ended up cancelling his order since it was taking too long and the lady called his name and then said,"Oh, he's the one who left." I like Taco Bell, but I HATE coming to this location. Sometimes it is just on the way to a job I'm doing and it is ALWAYS backed up. I have seen the drive thru backed up more times than I can count and when I go inside, I'm just sitting and waiting. I am a CEO of a San Diego company, and a best selling author. My family visits Taco Bell three to six times a moth. On Saturday Feb 26th at 11:40 PM at 6017 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbadm CA, I had the worst restaurant experience in my life. As usual, I ordered Nachos Bell Grande and "substitute more beans instead of meat," as my family is vegetarian. The person working the drive thru put the order as extra-beef. I said no, that's the opposite of what I need, and stated the request again. The male worker got irritated and said "we can't do that." I politely said that I had just driven to the east coast and back the last month, and substituted beans instead of meat at least 10 times in many states. The worker said "Dude, we can't fucking do that." I told him that I literally did it yesterday at lunch time, at this exact restaurant. And you just hit 'substitute beans instead of beef.' He then lost his temper and began cussing at me and threatening me, saying he was going to come outside and "fuck you up." I tried to just pull forward to the window to discuss, but a car was blocking. So I had to back out of the driveway. I told him at the microphone that I'd be sending a letter to the GM and to the CEO. He needs to be fired. read more

I've been to Taco Bell thousands of times in my lifetime. I thought very highly of it and rarely have had any negative experiences. In this particular instance, by the time I sat down and waited for my food, my number was already called and I could not believe my food was ready that fast. It took about one minute. By the time I got my napkins and drink it was already ready for pick up. The tacos were perfect as usual. Never a complaint with Taco Bell quality. Had a dorito taco, double decker, and a plain taco. In the past two weeks I've gone through drive-through 2 times. Each times have gotten incorrect items. I ordered Beef Chalupa supreme and received chicken Chalupa's tried to call the Taco Bell store no answer so I let it go. Tonight I went through drive-through ordered two beef Chalupa supreme's and got home only to find I had two crunch wrap supremes. I again have tried to call the store several times to speak to a manager. The store never answers or it goes to a fax machine. It wasn't a busy time no other cars in the drive through and The restaurant was empty! Come on Taco Bell!!! This is ridiculous. We wait to order, wait, wait, and wait, about 10 minutes. Not even kidding. Finally she says to order whenever we are ready. We say 2 items, she doesn't respond. For 2 full minutes! No reply. So we leave, call them, ask to speak to the manager. Same awful employee, never gave her name! So we told her how bad the lack of service was. She didn't seem to care. Laziest, worst employees on their night crew. Lunch time, they've always been great, but we will never be going there again and are calling corporate.
