Came for breakfast while working in the area. I am not a huge fan of chick-fil-a but worked with what I had around me in these morning hours.. Tried the scrambler with sausage and a chicken breakfast burrito. I was quite impressed with both, the burrito being more to my liking between the two. The staff were all very friendly, quite attentive considering the crowd and fast pace they were working in. Very clean restaurant, tons of parking in these morning hours. A little bit of a jump from the freeway, but a worthy visit. They have the place set up nicely for easter, now I am eager to see it during christmas. I don't usually eat at chick fil a but I had seen a promotion on social media that offered a deal through the app. It was about lunch time and I was headed through Encinitas and hungry when I remembered the deal. I ordered through the app and drove through for pick up. There was no line for a change. I got an original chicken sandwich and an Arnold Palmer (half unsweetened tea and half lemonade). I don't live too far away so it was still fresh and hot when I got home. In the past I have found their food a bit bland, but not today. It had a lot of flavor. This location has an amazing decoration and great worker culture from what I could see. However they messed up my order about 3 times. They didn't hand me my shake initially when I picked up my order. Then I noticed I was missing a whole entree and when I tried to get it replaced they already ran out of it and told me it was 10-15 mins wait. It was pretty frustrating to have to quality control their work. So I just refunded the entire order and left. I do not recommend this chick-fil-a at all. However it is the only one with a drive-thru in the area. If you go here, double and triple check your order; because the employees there won't. read more

The thing I like about this particular, Chick-fil-A is a couple of things, first huge parking lot, second outside and inside, so lots of seats and that's pretty good when the closest high school gets out lol. Again, one of my favorite things about this chain is how well they have done the app. You walk in you go immediately to their Wi-Fi. You say dine in you order and then scan your table number. Done in five minutes you're piping hot food is right in front of you with a smiling employee. A service here is always been great. I haven't done the drive-through, but it looks like it's very popular. If you're in the area in Encinitas, give it a go has my thumbs up. read more

Now I won't be back to this location because the biscuit was charred. Ate it anyways because I needed to eat before my class. We are regular customers to this establishment and I thought we finally got them to get the orders right. Tonight was a bad night for them. Not one person saw that the lettuce they made our salads with was brown and should never have been considered sellable. This review deserves 3 stars... maybe 2. But my kids fuggn love this place so it gets 4 stars. I rarely eat here unless I'm vacuuming up the kid's leftovers. My gripe is this.. 70-75% of the time the order is correct. 25-30% of the time the order is either incorrect and I have to go back for missing items or the fries are overcooked or cold. Not sure where the fault is overall. It really doesn't matter and they don't really need to care because the place cranks. It's just annoying. So the lesson here kids is, when you get your order, don't mind the cars behind you, check the contents of your bag first before you drive off. I really wish Chick-fil-A wasn't homophobic, but the food and service are so good. I mobile ordered for in-store pick up and received my food within a few minutes. They correctly gave me all of the sauces I requested, too! The service was also amazing, as the staff were very polite and eager to help. It appears as though their drive-through is always clogged, so I can't speak to the speed of that, but in terms of in-store ordering, it's pretty efficient. Definitely opt for this option if you don't want to wait in your car. I got the 8 count chicken nuggets with a Diet Coke, and yup--it hits the spot! They let you get a maximum of 3 sauces with your order. My sister got a free cookie for her birthday! Remember to download the app! The ambiance is very, very casual and kid-friendly. This place gives me major stomachaches! Was here one day and got a chicken deluxe sandwich. It was super expensive for what it is. I paid seven dollars just for the sandwich à la cart. We decided to dine in for breakfast. Thought it would be the usual Chikfila, but Javier went above and beyond the average person. He was super kind, patient, and attentive. Food came out fast and, as always, delicious. They had coloring activities for my kids. Bathroom had a stepping stool my 3 yo could use that actually reached the faucet (which is a luxury for any parent with little ones). We did wish there were more bathrooms though. Chicken only and no ! Well, I don't eat beef so this is pretty much a candy store for me. I have been regular at many Chick-FIL-A's and this one is similar. The same standard and delicious menu. Only a bit more difficult to navigate through the parking lot and too inland if you are on a freeway. It was not too busy on a Saturday late afternoon, which I liked. Pro-tip: They have a curbside pick up so please order before you go in and you will have your order ready to be delivered to your car! And that means absolutely no waiting time. No lines.. nothing. I come from time to time I go through the drive through as I love the spicy chicken sandwich, their fries and yummy sweet tea. The customer service is amazing as the orders are and payment are taken while we're in the driveway line. Last time I decided to try the chicken nuggets. It was a bit bland and boring. They gave a sauce but I couldn't drive and take care of sauce packets. Luckily my dog was hungry and liked it. If I had waited to get home, it would have been too cold. Probably tied for the worse Chick-fil-A in terms of service with the Carlsbad location. I went to the Encinitas location 2 weeks ago ordering a drink carryout mobile order and I waited about 10 minutes before the workers there finally noticed me. I went there a week ago and got the same quality of service, waited about 10 minutes before someone noticed my drink on the side...not sure why my drink was sitting there and not in the carryout rack. Today, I went there again ordering a drink and fries through a mobile carryout and decided to throw them a curve ball by going through the drive thru. First, they said my order was not there and then I told them it was a mobile carryout order. They told me it was not a drive thru. I said I could back up my car but thankfully they finally said after 2 minutes of looking for my order that I could finally drive through the drive thru. They gave me me my items but after I left the drive thru I did not check for napkins till I got home.... Never again, I will go back to this Chick-Fil-A. The Vista, Oceanside and San Marcos are much better in terms of service though San Marcos can get really busy. read more

This is perhaps the worst Chick-fil-A. It's consistently inconsistent. You never know what you're going to get. What we got today was cold fries, chewy sandwich that was not spicy (even though we ordered spicy) and absolutely poor service. The workers hardly ever smile or say "my pleasure". Chick-fil-a is known for their friendly staff and service and this location is no different. Everyone has a smile and is happy to help you. The prices are the same, the food is the same, the quality is the same. You get a consistent experience no matter which location you go in to. Some of the differences with this location are the size, seems smaller than other locations nearby, it is much smaller inside and the drive thru is smaller too. This location has plenty of things set out for you, from utensils, to napkins, to condiments, to wet naps, etc. They do not skimp on that section and it is always fully stocked. There is some patio seating outside so if you don't want to stay inside, you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air. This location has plenty of parking since it is in a strip mall, but it is also logistically better than their oceanside and san marcos locations, which are a logistical nightmare during peak rush times. read more

Normally I don't write bad reviews about chick-fil-a, but this morning we went through here on our drive down to Disneyland and ordered 4 breakfast combo meals. For starters they got our order wrong, the hasbrowns tasted old, and at every other chickfila I've literally EVER been to in the country they gladly mix in the sweeteners and the cream in the coffee for you so you don't have to make a mess in your car. She absolutely refused (she was very nice about it, but said they cannot do that for health reasons)! Umm okay! Sorry that's nonsense! Let's be real... it's laziness ok?! Lastly, we ordered 3 iced coffee drinks and they didn't put any straws or napkins in the bag. We had to stop at the gas station down the street to get napkins and straws.
