I ordered 22.00 in food. None of the boxed specials were in boxes.i drove 15 minutes home and started diving the food for my hungry family, nothing was labeled and everything in bag was soaking wet. I got my food, but I had to ask for my drink, when I got it, it was a sprite. When I got home I started to eat my tacos and noticed a burnt, sort of rubbery taste. My steak was burnt. So, apparently I'm gluten for punishment and decided to give this place another try. Big mistake. The drive-thru was wrapped around the building and no one was inside. So we go inside and wait behind two people...for 5 minutes. I assumed they had already been waited on...nope. Finally someone comes around and takes their order and of course there was confusion. Let's just start this off by saying i LOVE taco bell, but as of lately this location has gotten LAZY! I order every once in a while and EVERY time something is missing. Usually my drink which i don't fuss over but this time... was the last straw. When my order arrived 3 of my 6 items was missing, 2 were just a duplicate of the taco i ordered and the last simply wasn't there, i didn't even get a price change for the fact they made my chalupas into double tacos and the last item i didn't get. They also take so long, only one man was wearing his mask over his mouth (everyone else either didn't have one or it was at their chin...what's the point in wearing a mask if it's not over your mouth!? Clayton TB is the slowest Taco Bell in history. Waited in line for 30 minutes without moving. Left and went to Taco Bell of Garner. Not only did I I have my food in 2 minutes. They had my sauces, straw, and napkins in a nice little baggie. Funny thing was the Blue Ford Truck 2 cars in front of me at Clayton TB was just reaching the window when I passed them going home. Although this KFC / Taco Bell combo is almost always busy, and the line is usually long, it is managed by a Ms. Donna Brown, who goes above and beyond to show customers they are welcome and heard. The food is on par with every other KFC / Taco Bell - and some of the staff are great! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Others are rude and lazy. But having an issue with one of the latter and after having brought it to Ms. Brown's attention, she went way beyond what I expected to listen and promise action, in addition to making sure I left happy. We have lived in clayton for 4 years over those four years there are two likely scenarios you will encounter at this Taco Bell, you will either get stuck in the black hole that is the drive through, where you will spend the next thirty minutes wondering why you didn't go inside, or you will get your food get home and realize they got your order completely wrong.
