This Taco Bell is an absolute train wreck from start to finish. I don't even know where to begin, because everything about this experience was bad -- not just one thing, not just a mistake, but a complete breakdown of basic competence. From the moment I walked in, it was painfully obvious the staff was high af. I'm not saying that to be dramatic -- their behavior, lack of awareness, slow reactions, and total indifference made it impossible to ignore. Orders were taking forever, employees were wandering around like they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing, and there was zero sense of urgency or professionalism. It felt like no one was actually in charge, and everyone was just winging it. When you're running a restaurant, especially fast food, that's not optional -- it's literally the job. And then there's the food. Somehow, after all that waiting, the food came out cold. Not "not hot enough," not "could be warmer," but straight-up cold like it had been sitting there forever. The tacos were sloppy, poorly assembled, and honestly looked like someone threw them together without even trying. No care, no quality control, no pride in the product whatsoever. This wasn't just disappointing -- it was insulting. Customers are paying money and trusting that, at the bare minimum, the food will be hot and edible. That is the absolute lowest bar, and this location couldn't even clear that. Instead, we're expected to accept cold food while the staff acts completely spaced out and checked out. If employees are going to be high af on the clock, management needs to step in immediately, because customers shouldn't be the ones paying the price for that level of irresponsibility. This location clearly has no standards, no oversight, and no accountability. I've had bad fast food before, but this was on another level. Do yourself a favor and skip this place entirely. There are plenty of Taco Bells that at least get the basics right -- this one clearly doesn't. Second time getting RANCID Tortilla chips...so gross!!! Ordered 1 Nachos Bell Grande....no meat but LOTS of Refried beans and diced yelloW and green tomatoes. Also ordered a side of chips n cheese, the chips were so small and so disgusting tasting that the whole meal just ended up in the trash bin. NOT a time to be throwing money away on food like that. Gotta skip TB and head for BEDUBS., cuz ANYWHERE ELSE has gotta be better???....NO MAS!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I knowingly come back to this Taco Bell hoping that the food and service will exceed my past experiences and previous expectations. I am left disappointed every time. THIS TACO BELL NEEDS MAJOR HELP! Corporate needs to come in and do a revamp of this store because it is losing a lot of money due to rude employees and below standard food. I completely understand that fast food joints are no 5 star restaurant but the least you can provide is a decent meal and sub par customer service. This restaurant always seems to be closed when they are supposed to be open. An example of this is in the morning. I have made it in there around 730am and ordered just fine, other weekdays I get in the same time and no one answer the speaker. Another example was one night around 10pm I went in to grab some tacos after a long day of yard work, only to have no one answer the speaker, I get up to the window that is open, say hello, to be met with "we are closed, bye!" I pulled around and saw a blonde toddler running around inside the lobby. The food is always lacking, like I said, I don't expect perfection, that's unreasonable, but to always get the order wrong, have hard tortillas or always be out of something is, in my opinion, not up to the Taco Bell standard of most restaurants. I can't count how many times I've ordered and they're out of rice or potatoes. I can't count how many potato breakfast burritos I've ordered with no tomatoes, only to bite into some tomatoes, I'm glad I'm not allergic. They missed half my order, then I went back after getting home to find out that it was wrong. When I got there I was ignored until I asked to speak with someone. Then the manager was just rude and told me you will have to wait without even approaching me. Then when I told her my problem she just rolled her eyes and said she would remake it. For this being one of the few fast food places in Columbia City i find it weird how they constantly refuse costumers because they are "under staffed" or "on a stocking break" I've never ever heard in my 35 years of living of a fast food place closing for 30 min in the middle of the day to "stock". Horrible staff, horrible service, overall horrible. Every time I come here I wait in line for over 20 minutes, getting stuck in the line, and when you call it doesn't even ring. The employees are constantly outside talking at cars and vaping, while they tell you they're too short staffed to get your order in less than 30 minutes, or just get your order in general. I wouldn't normally post a review of a Taco Bell!!! But we were traveling across Ohio and Indiana late one night. It was about 10:00pm and we decided we needed something to fill our stomachs and didn't want to slow down our trip. We arrived in New Haven, IN by chance, and first stopped at McDonald's. The drive-thru was closed. We shot across the highway to Wendy's, but closed. Then headed back across the highway to Taco Bell. The line at the drive-thru was long, but we had now determined to get some food. The line was moving very slow, but now we were committed. We were blocked in by cars in front and behind, with no way out. We finally arrived to the menu board and the associate asked for our order. It was difficult as the board was not lit, and was not easy to see. Not being Taco Bell regulars, we didn't know exactly what combinations were on the menu. My wife asked for the Chalupa. "We are out of Chalupas". Not sorry - just out. Ok - a little hesitation on our part. I then asked for the #4. "We are out of lettuce and tomatoes." Not sorry - just out. Frustrated and amazed, I told the TB Associate to forget it. I pulled up a little, away from the menu board. It wasn't going to be quite so easy to forget this experience. We had the wait another 30 minutes in the drive-thru line just to be able to leave. What a bad experience, and a wasted 45 minutes. 1-star is a gift! read more

First off, the outside lights were not even lit, looked as if it was closed.Then we go in took 10 minutes just to order food,when everyone else was just waiting for food. 25 minutes later our food was done, no sorry for your wait or anything. Food is very okay and standard for Taco Bell. Most of the time cold. The older lady that works here that takes orders with thrown together blond hair is the rudest person I've ever met. She has no personality and you can tell she completely hates her job. Why management has not fired her yet is beyond me. Stopped in for some more abuse today and she actually refused to take my order and walked away and left me standing there for 5min. New Management is needed as they have no backbone and cannot see this worker makes coming her a very unpleasant experience. read more

When I think of a Taco Bell the star wars cantina scene comes to mind. There is no place where you can find such a wretched hive of scum and villainy. It's right next to the work release, I am always worried about felons messing with my quesodilla. The service is spot on some days and others it's like worrying about getting shanked in the parking lot... one time I waited for like 10 minutes to get my food and the order was jacked up. that being said I'm kind of addicted to quesodillas, so it gets 3 stars read more

The drive-thru is supposed to close at 3AM, per the sticker on their window. We went by at midnight and no one serviced us. We drove up to the window and saw employees cleaning but ignored us at the window. We ended up going to the McDonald's nearby. Not sure how this establishment is still in business. read more

In town the other night and was HUNGRY. It was late and saw that TB was open, so decided to drop in and grab some food. My impressions of the place are: 1) Staff is knowledgeable of the food they serve there 2) Staff was very helpful and friendly 3) Place was clean, very clean (was very glad to see that it was!) As the CC area is a bit lacking in real Mexican food, I have to say that the offerings at TB are at least equal to or better than the "Mexican" places we have been to in quality and taste, but then they are a chain and can come up with good recipes. I know that when I am in the CC area and its late or want some "Mexican" food (one of my favorite types), I will be going to TB. read more
