T4L is inconveniently located way across town but my seed and feed shop is over by there and if I combine errands I can get me a little something too. something like a taco! okay two tacos... and a drink... plus a side... fine I'm getting dinner. service is always fast and friendly (but not awkwardly so) and the store is super clean and I feel I should bus my own table but there's no visible waste receptacle so I just try to tidy up some before slinking off... I've been getting the salad as my side a lot and even though the SW dressing is super tasty I could just as well go without because it's a really good salad :-) chicken bacon ranch taco is a winner! big and chickeny under a layer of shrettuce with ranchy bacon fixings on top :-) and the crumbs blend into the salad nicely so that's a plus. my Korean barbecue taco was actually mostly okay and tasted like other K-BBQs I've sampled but it also doesn't quite match up to my food fantasies if that makes any sense :-/ I guess I'm not a fan of this exact flavor but it isn't really their fault so no penalty. (K-BBQ is fast taking the place of chicken and waffles as all hat, no cattle.) read more

First time here, lots of choices ! They have a special of 2 tacos, side and drink and it was nice to have so many taco options. Food was prepared timely and delicious. This place is awesome!! Definitely a go-to added into the rotation. Stopped by tonight after a long day at work and it was exactly what I needed. Fast, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the environment was perfect. It was my first time here and they absolutely set the bar for any other restaurant nearby based on their service alone (the food was an added bonus). The place was clean and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. My mom and I decided to stop in here since it's pretty new and we were not disappointed! They have such a good variety of tacos with different options for tortillas. I chose the spicy chorizo on a crunchy taco and if you order the meal option you get 2 tacos with a side. The tacos we got were stuffed full of toppings. The spicy chorizo taco was so good and the fried jalapeños on top were such a good touch. There was a ton of cotija cheese which I loved because you could really taste it on the taco. The small chips and queso is pretty large for the price and I thought the queso was really good. The chips had seasoning on them too. I also tried the pesto cilantro rice which I enjoyed but was probably my least favorite item I tried. I love cilantro but the pesto was a little overpowering and bitter, but adding the lime juice did balance out the bitterness. The rice was cooked well so I think I'll just try a different rice next time. The service was great (you order at the counter and they bring it to you) but everyone was nice. The space inside is huge so there's plenty of seating. They also have a ton of salsas and hot sauces by the drinks which is nice. I'll definitely eat there again read more

My two sons and I visited Tacos 4 Life on Friday afternoon, April 18th, hoping to enjoy a relaxing lunch outdoors. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on multiple levels. First, I was unable to eat my meal due to the taste and poor quality of the ingredients. The flavor didn't sit right, and the freshness of the food was questionable. More concerning, however, is that shortly after returning home, one of my sons developed a severe case of food poisoning that lasted well into Saturday morning--finally subsiding around 10:30-11:00 AM. This is unacceptable for any dining establishment. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to reassess its sourcing and preparation practices. Prioritizing high-quality, locally sourced, organic, and non-GMO ingredients would go a long way in rebuilding trust with health-conscious families like ours. Additionally, the customer service at the front register felt rushed and impatient, which only added to the negative impression. A more welcoming and patient approach would create a much better guest experience. Unfortunately, due to health concerns, food quality, and customer service, we will not be returning. However, we hope to see improvements in the future that might allow us to revisit with confidence. We want to support local business. All the best to them. read more

Went to the mooresville nc location. Service was fast which might have been the problem. The tacos came out and right away they looked very small on meat and heavy on toppings. I ordered an Hawaiian shrimp and carnitas harbenero taco, my wife ordered the mahi tuna and crab tacos. My tacos had no seasoning and by far the worst tacos I have ever had. My wife's tuna was ok and her crab taco was so bad she spit out the first bite and starting turning pale. I would not recommend this place and will never return. read more

Trying to find a new lunch spot. Third time here. Each time getting worse. Wanted a steak burrito. Dont have one so i had to do beef swap for steak. +3 upcharge. And i wanted black beans instead of refried. +1 upcharge. What i received was a burrito with LITERALLY 4 small pieces of steak and about 15 black beans, loaded with rice and some cheese. We moved from Arkansas, so I was really excited about a Tacos 4 Life coming to my area in Mooresville. Unfortunately, this was not the same excellent experience. My daughter got the Mango Habanero & Spicy Chorizo tacos. There was no Habanero spice and the mango was bland. The spicy chorizo was good but was cold. I got the mango habanero & carnitas tacos. I had the same experience with mango habanero and the chorizo was soft and mushy. My husband got chipotle steak and chicken fajitas tacos. The chipotle steak was pretty good, but both his tacos were cold too. Overall we were very disappointed with our experience. I hope it improves because I love giving back concept and miss the great experience from the original Tacos 4 Life experience. read more

How can you not love a Taco place that not only has an amazing choice of tacos and sides, but also donates meal for meal to feed starving kids all over the world? We were here for their grand opening and "wow" did that staff hustle ( and smile). I highly recommend the Shrimp taco ( best flavoring I've had to date on shrimp), Queso rice bowl with chicken ( so tasty) and Queso and chips . Queso is perfect consistency. Customer service was great very nice and kind staff. The restaurant was clean and stocked up. The owner came around asking how everyone's food was how they are doing. Just went to the new one in Mooresville.. so good! Food was out in 5 minutes and everything tasted so fresh. We had a big group from work come and everything we all ordered came out correct.
