Not a bad place to get some good Taco's, and some of the staff are nice and fun to be around, but there are some things that can be changed.

Nice big screen to see what they offer on the menu. During the week days they have taco, burrito and bowl specials. They have a large seating area after you order. If you have take out to wait for your food at counter. If you have dine in they will bring to your table. Not too sure about cross contamination due to the food being set up like chipotle and subway. So I guess there is some with the toppings. The one o would be worried about is seafood allergy. I was not able to get a picture but you might want to make sure they done fry fish and shrimp in the same basket as fries and taquitos. Co-worker ordered nachos and one got enchiladas. Both of them had elements that were microwaved to make warm. The nachos were microwaved to melt the cheese and the enchiladas the green sauce was placed in a plastic bowl microwaved then poured over enchiladas. I don't like when places have to use microwaves but they have 3 of them I say. I had the taquitos. I must admit, the flavor was good. Fried just right. Not a fan of green salsa so an option would have been nice. They only brought green out with my dinner.

This is a favorite local place for Mexican street food-style fare. You see a lot of…read moreSpanish-speaking folk in here dining, which is always a good sign for authenticity, but at the same time I know that turns some of the locals off because the style is slightly different than the Americanized version of this same food they are used to eating. It's their loss I say because we love this place. Value for the money is pretty outstanding, but some folks say they've been downsizing the portions lately, so I'll have to check that out for myself. The atmosphere is very much the utilitarian, hole-in-the-wall style eatery, but it's always consistent and delicious and their long hours make it a favorite of the post-bar crawl crowd who know it's here. That being said, given its location, if you didn't go looking for this place, you would probably never find it, since it's a little off the beaten tracks (literally) near where the railroad crosses by some of Caldwell's industrial businesses. The format as one could guess is fast-casual, so definitely a destination you go to more for the food than the dining atmosphere. That being said, they keep the place clean and in good shape, but some of the chairs are a little uncomfortable.

My wife and I came here for the first time today, after I read the reviews. We live in Star, and…read morethis restaurant is only about 10 minutes from our home. Located right on 44, it seems to have plenty of parking in the back and a few parking spots in the front. It is a free-standing building, nice enough curb appeal, and inside the seating is ample, with a combination of booths and tables. There is a drive-thru with an awkward set up. The pick-up window is located out in the seating area, so that the staff have to walk across the restaurant to deliver the food to the people ordering. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Both the female and the male employees were very nice. My wife ordered the carnitas plate and I ordered the Shrimp a la Diabla. My wife thought her carnitas were a little crispy, as in over-cooked, but she did say that the meat was not dried out. She enjoyed her meal. I enjoyed the sauce of the Diabla dish; it was spicy enough. What I would have preferred as more mushrooms and a lot less of the thickly cut onion slices, which I don't care for and actually don't agree with me, if eaten in quantities. I would have also preferred more mushrooms, which I do enjoy. Still, the shrimp were plump and well-cooked, and there were plenty of them. Also, contrary to some reviews, we thought that there dishes offered plenty of food. There were flies in the restaurant, which are a real turn-off for us. Once we moved over under one of the ceiling fans, it did not seem like a problem. All in all, a good first experience. We will definitely be back.
