Unfortunately, this Taco Bell is very hit or miss. I placed an online order for drive-through pickup. The rep at the window was pleasant and let me know it would be a few minutes, which was fine. I also asked about their happy hour special ($1 drinks from 2-5 pm) since it was 3:40 pm. He politely told me that this location doesn't participate in the promo--even though it's clearly posted on their signage and menu. That's misleading and frustrating. I didn't bother ordering a drink because the regular price was nearly five times higher. When I got home, the disappointment continued. My receipt showed the Cheesy Gordita Crunch I ordered, but what I actually received was just the classic version, which I don't even like. There were several issues with this order. I swapped the beef for chicken in each of my items, but when I checked my chicken taco at home, I noticed smears of beef on the inside of the tortilla. I cannot eat beef due to religious reasons and had to discard the taco. Additionally, I ordered a Luxe Box, but the items were thrown messily into the bag, with some of the wrappers slightly opened. This is the second time I've placed an order at this location at least 20 minutes in advance, only to be told, "It's not ready yet. Come back in 5 minutes" upon arrival. To make matters worse, today I encountered two rude employees whose attitudes were extremely unpleasant. I'm giving them a 4 star only because they be packing the quesadillas with meat and cheese. They are not skimpy on the fillings of their tacos & burritos like the Taco Bell on Rockaway Trpk. Every single time I go there, it's the same way. So bravo to the person making the food in the back. Plus they are always nice when I go there. I'm only taking off 1 star because half the time I go here and order a Chalupa, the shell is stale & hard. I bet they make a bunch of them in advance to cut time. This is the worst Taco Bell I've been to in quite awhile but it's in a ghetto area of Far Rockaway, so I really shouldn't expect much. Save yourself the time & the crazy aggravation and go somewhere else to eat........anywhere but here. YELP needs to allow us to give ZERO Stars when applicable I've been to this particular restaurant before but the customer service has gone way down hill in the last few months. The pregnant cashier and the drive-through girl were rude and seemed very confused especially by my order, even though it was very simple. Perhaps they need more training or an refresher course. I have a coupon for B1G1 bean burrito, so I requested 2 bean burritos with red sauce on top. The cashier kept saying "they don't have red sauce", but they do, according to the drive-through girl (she shouted " YES we do"). The cashier called the drive through lady over to the register and I explained what I wanted again but the drive-through girl said "they didn't have burritos".......even though a I saw a guy making some for a drive-through order ‍ ‍‍ I asked for the manager and the cashier seemed completely dumbfounded by my request, she just stood there like a fish opening and closing her mouth repeatedly, lol The drive- through girl came over again, I asked her "to please get the manager before the cashier gives birth or faints" but she threw her hands in the air and walked away. At this point I gave up trying to order food so I then ordered 3 large wild strawberry freezes. The cashier rang up the order, it came to 9.86 so I swiped my card and she made the drinks but she failed to give me the receipt. I said " please give me the receipt so I would have the restaurant info for when I called corporate later about my experience here today", at that point the cashier said "they can't print receipts today"......whaaaaaat? I told her "that I could google the store address to call corporate, push come to shove". Then the cashier told me to swipe my card again, NOW she said the transaction didn't go through but she made the 3 drinks earlier (they don't make these drinks until they are paid for and remember I had already swiped my card once and she said they can't print receipts) BUT she wanted me to swipe again .........say whaaatttt?? Yeah that's NOT going to happen until I check my account to see if the first transaction went through or not first before swiping again. That seriously pissed the cashier off big time (she started hugging, puffing and slamming her hand on the counter) but I wasn't going to pay twice. I should have videotaped this entire fiasco but I didn't think about it at the time. This area is notorious for having bad cell phone reception and I couldn't access my bank account after several tries. The cashier was becoming completely unhinged and was speaking in another language that I didn't recognize because I wanted to check before swiping again and she kept insisting that I swipe my card again. I had my son take my phone outside to see if the reception was better but it wasn't. He was laughing because this was becoming a comic relief side show I told her to forget the order because I can't access my account in this area and since they had lied about the red sauce and burritos.......I don't trust them. THEN a large man walk to the register to see what was going on.......I told him that "he came too late and I would call Corporate and do a Yelp review about my experience here today " . He said "go ahead and call corporate , they can't do anything about it and no one checks Yelp reviews". I laughed and walked out. This is the worst Taco Bell. The manger and the staff treat people with so much disrespect. I've watched the male manger behave and speak rude and dismissive towards a very polite teenage girl. The girl ask fro the free taco deal that was going on. The manger rudely said "No and next". I've gone the only on two occasions and each time the staff was nasty. This Taco Bell is constantly getting my uber orders incorrectly. They put chicken in my vegetarian dishes, they forget my drinks after the time and usually the order is just wrong. It's so frustrating that time and time again they can't get the order right. If you ran out of something, just call the person to substitute it.
