Not that the management even cares what anyone has to say-- but don't waste your time coming to this location. About a month ago, my husband and I ordered an online order. We waited in the drive-thru for at least 30 minutes and not one car moved. Not ONE, and there must have been 10 cars ahead of us. So I went inside and there were probably 10 more people waiting for their order too. I stood under the online order pick-up sign. Nobody cared or asked me for my name. There was one girl at the front and a group of boys came in 20 minutes after me and ordered their food. They got it within 5 minutes and left. I waited 45 minutes inside and got so mad because all of the workers were avoiding everyone including me. I finally had to yell for someone to come help assist me and they said "we didn't even start making your order yet"... It wasn't like they were understaffed or anything, there were plenty of workers that night. They were extremely slow and careless. But another night, they were understaffed and I heard from my friend, who is a door-dasher that management is trying to save as much money as possible and it's pretty obvious they don't care people have to wait this long just for FAST FOOD. I'm frickin fed up with this location. Any time I've driven myself there, the wait is horrendously long and there's no way to escape the line once you're in it. I order for delivery? it takes over an hour for them to make this food. And just something as simple as a late drive thru order, the line moved quickly, the service was friendly, efficient, and ACCURATE (big one). This location Is EASILY going to go under with the management that they currently have. Visited this location on April 18, 2021 and waited in the drive thru line for exactly 1 HOUR and 15 MINUTES. I'm not usually one to complain or be too Harsh, but the way in which the drive thru is setup is once you're in, you can't get out. This is the very best Taco Bell. I work nearby and frequent this location often and they've never messed up my order - I'm sure it happens occasionally but I've had great experiences. My taco shells are never crunched or broken and it's always very neat instead of sloppy and thrown together. The customer service is always incredible, everyone is SO friendly! This is by far the worse Taco Bell I have ever been to. I have had more bad experiences here than good ones. I filed a complaint to their customer service after todays short comings. The food is consistently prepared sloppy and incorrectly. I have never been to a restaurant that cared so little about customer satisfaction. They have even gone as far as telling me that they were out of chips for nachos once, but the guy a few orders behind me managed to get some. I will probably never go to this Taco Bell again because I can't waste more of my life writing complaints to their customer service and being angry about the total lack of care. I found the portions smaller at this particular taco bell, as well as a few disgruntled workers. Specifically one guy was late and the other guy was working overtime to cover for him and was he was thoroughly unhappy... And was not afraid to let all the customers know. When the late worker showed up he was supposed to be running the register, but when I went back for seconds (yeah, i know) , he was outside on his phone. On a more personal preference... Im glad he was working the register and not making the food because his finger nails were seriously longer than most womens which really made my stomach uneasy during the money exchange at the register. I guess this particular taco bell experience could have been worse, but it could have been a lot better also. read more

I´ve sat on this review because normally I don´t do reviews but this apparent new manager at the Groton location is the BIGGEST downgrade possible. Each time I´ve gone in to pick up, she has been unprofessional and rude to customers and her employees. Besides not following her own dress code and wearing a hat around the food, she seems to take pleasure in embarassing her employees by yelling at them for actually doing their jobs and INTERACTING with the customers-CUSTOMER SERVICE is what this whole establishment is suppose to be about and this new one has NONE!! The last manager was a pleasant person to interact with and by replacing her with this one is an insult. I´ve had several orders screwed up for DoorDash and she has never been helpful in correcting the issues. To anyone thinking of going here, I highly recommend driving the extra time to New London or Norwich. Good luck keeping this location from destructing anymore with her at the head of it, and I hope you can reclaim your customers because I have spread word of mouth to everyone I know. Some already knew who I was referring to without saying it was a management issue and have spread the word also. New London is going to have my personal business and professional. If the idea of being trapped in line for over an hour sounds appealing to you, go to this Taco Bell. Once you're in line, you're stuck. Two times in a row I waited over an hour in line. I did an order ahead, went inside and no one would come to the counter. Went outside in line, waited for an hour and 20 minutes. Finally I get to the window, not once do they say sorry for the wait and they hand me two drinks and say all set. I reply no, I ordered food. They look at me with a rude look and say "oh" then 10 minutes later hand me my order. I look at it, it's missing items and wrong. I wave them down, tell them, they again give a rude look, say nothing and walk away. 10 minutes later they hand me my food, again with a rude face as if it's my fault they messed up, and they say nothing. I would think with an hour and 10 minutes, my food should be correct. This is the worst Taco Bell. Terrible wait, and even worse costumer service. Save yourself the trouble and go three miles down the road to the next Taco Bell. No I'm sorry for the mistake, I'm sorry for the wait. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

We just got drive thru and let me say this: I've eaten MANY crunch wrap supremes but this was by far the best one EVER. I have never experienced such a rude staff, the lady who was taking drive through orders slammed the window in our face and wouldn't open it after us waiting and knocking. She was also so dismissive and rude throughout the whole experience, I love Taco Bell but I don't think I will ever return to this one. Aside from that I tried to order a quesarito, they told me I had to order it on the mobile app and I couldn't order it at the drive through? I politely asked why, it's all the same thing, whether the order is through the drive through or the app it shows up on the screen for the food line the same. I have ordered quesaritos at many other Taco Bell locations. I was very kind and polite and when I was simply asking why, ( I don't eat meat so that's one of the few things I can eat on the menu, and it's my absolute fav) I was baffled by how rude the manager and the employees were.
