I told the gentleman at the window that it was my first time trying a Gold Star, and I was excited. He said I'm really gonna enjoy the burger. He was right, It was klutch. Hot, fresh, cooked well and delivered perfectly as I had ordered. Love the crinkle fries, they are a huge PLUS. The Cheese Coney was soft, tender, great chili taste, plenty of cheese and a soft (steamed?) bun. This was not a production line meal; it was culinary excellence in my opinion - they cared about the food they were making and serving. They delivered above my expectations. I am sure the person working the window thought I was nuts, but it's the little things for me. After I ate, I called and spoke with a nice lady to thank them for the quality and experience. I am sure that she thought I was crazy too, but I like to call out good/positive behavior. It's important for me, especially in a world where people are so quick to criticize.
