I understand that there is a self serve station but it was not busy and the people behind the counter were just walking around since there were no others making orders and the drive threw only had 1 person come through during that time. When brought to their attention, their answer was not much they can do about it, do you want another drink. This Taco Bell shares a building and parking lot with Pizza Hut by the Slice. Parking is adequate, and the dining room is clean and cool with tables, booths and bar height tables with high chairs. I visited this Taco Bell while using the new Rivian chargers. I was very disappointed that I was not able to place the order with a person, I was forced to use the kiosk. The kiosk is an option but I prefer to place my order with a person. The lack of customer service has an impact, I'll look elsewhere for food when charging in the future. I have a personal policy not to review fast food chains because everyone knows what to expect when you shop the 99 cent value menu. However, this Taco Bell was just completely renovated and rebuilt and is awesome. I like the new style and it was obvious the staff was happy to work in such a new and clean environment. Five stars for a fast food restaurant! We are traveling as a family and wanted a quick dinner. Our lifestyle is vegan and we always know how to substitute black beans for meat, no cheese and no queso. Almost all locations we stop at always get something wrong with our order (we understand it's not the normal everyday order) but this location got everything this family of 7 ordered! Everything was as fresh as can be and the black beans tasted great and not dry like most locations. They even threw in a few cinnamon twists (also vegan) we will definitely be coming back next time we go through. We also got all the current gossip on a local family and all the so called friendly neighbors from the table next to us. Those ladies could talk. Arrived at this location on Friday, June 13th at 1:15pm. Had been on the road for a while traveling out of Albuquerque, NM going to Phoenix, AZ. I stopped here to stretch legs and use restroom and get some lunch. 1st issue was no paper towels in bathroom to dry hands. No big deal overall, it happens. Dried hands on jeans and went to counter to order. The order taker was nice enough taking my order, and handing me my drink cup. I go sit down to wait for order. During this time I notice that the Drive-Thru window is hopping and getting food pretty quickly. 15 mins in, the gentlemen that ordered is food 10 mins before me, is FINALLY getting his order. Staggered over the next 15 minutes, 3 more people finally got their orders. During this time, 2 different customers came to counter to get refunded. Not once did the manager say "I'm sorry" or "Thank you". Nothing. Just a refund and away to the back he went. The order taker at the counter was not letting people know of the long wait for food either. During this time, a woman and her 2 small girls came in and ordered. They then went to the lady's room and came immediately out because there was no toilet paper! Finally, at 1:45 my order of 1 taco and 1 burrito was put on the counter and my number called. As I walked to pick up order and leave, once again, not a "thank you" or a "i'm very sorry it took so long". If you go to this place, go through the Drive-Thru, apparently interior orders are 2nd class citizens.
