The dine-in lunch service was fast, but not especially friendly, while the dining area was fairly new and clean with lively contemporary background music. My order was correct, and tasted pretty good. Overall A-OK.

I liked the food. But it definitely wasn't worth the 2 hour trip on the toilet. Service was okay. And the inside is well underwhelming.

They never take your order even when they're open. Terrible customer service. I would no recommend going to this Taco Bell.

The cashiers always smell like some kind of drug, seriously. Good food I guess. Worst area for a Taco Bell though.

I've eaten there for years, but one of my recent stops made me realize it's more than just the food. Please read on.... An immigrant showed me friendship in food, even though I was a stranger. The place was packed and the only open table was where the workers sit. I was by myself, but one of the restaurant workers came up with her lunch and gestured to me if she could sit at the table. I smiled and said "Si." I noticed she was eating birria tacos with consomme and it looked delicious. She saw me and laughed, said something in Spanish which I think translated into "Would you like some birria and consomme?" I nodded yes and she went back to the kitchen and returned with a small container. You can tell from the video the broth was rich, the birria was tender and fatty (but in the best way)! I tried to convey to her it was great and thank you. She asked me something in Spanish and I could only respond in a gringo "Que'?" I finally used Google Translate and she was asking if I worked nearby. I was dressed in my blue collar clothes! I used the App to tell her I drove in from my part of town and she smiled and laughed. I think she understood how much I loved eating at Don Antonios, because I would drive at least 25 minutes to eat there. If she only knew I'm there every week! This experience reinforced what I already knew. Immigrants are kind and caring people. Just like my grandparents when they arrived in America before WWII. I also know what my family and I have experienced when you don't look like the majority.... Just my two cents and a tip of the hat to an immigrant who showed me friendship in food, even though I was a stranger.

It was a good midnight snack. I got the Barbacoa taco and shrimp taco. Both had tons of flavor, and two was plenty for dinner. The margaritas were excellent! Since you order at the counter, we didn't have a ton of experience with the staff, but everyone seemed friendly and the shop is well maintained We did eat inside, and there were definitely people outside, taking advantage of the patio

It gave an option for dining with a group of people or simply dining alone. We arrived around 1pm on a week day, so just after the lunch rush which was perfect. The food was made fresh, I've always wanted to try the barria taco but no one seems to offer anything but a beef option. And finally, I found a chicken one. It was Delish !! Now I couldn't dip in the au just because it was beef but I appreciate having the option. The Mexican rice was light and flavorful. The queso was good however it stiffened up pretty quickly, just in case you feel the anxiety of choosing between. Your appetizer and the main costs course. Over all, a great experience for a late afternoon lunch. Check out it when your craving tacos, I don't think you'll be disappointment.

I couldn't complain because the food is so worth the wait. The consommé is very flavorful..not a bland purchase was made. To my surprise, I even received an extra taco for the wait. The ramen was just right and the portion was huge! Packaged in a large styrofoam to go cup. I'm glad I chose to order tacos here this Taco Tuesday. These Birrias were not discounted but it didn't bother me. I will return!

My last visit to Paul's a few month's ago was very painful; witnessing a once proud burger joint fall into disrepair and neglect. My visit tonight was a great improvement - TEA has cleaned up and painted, the kitchen looked clean, the menu signs were vibrant, the loose wires are fixed and a maintenance man was working on HVAC this evening. Pride has returned to the triangulated lot once again. Speaking with the owner Virginio (hopefully that's correct) he spoke with pride of his menu and long history working at Taqueria Mexico just a few blocks south across the river in Argentine. I ordered the Quesaberria tacos - a serving of four for $12. Beef Birria griddled to perfection on a corn tortilla with queso, cilantro, onions and a big cup of beef broth for dipping. I ate 3 from my tailgate since there is no seating in this carry-out only taqueria and they were exquisite. I took the 4th one home for a snack for my wife; she exclaimed it was the best taco she's ever had. I would easily return for carry-out but do wish they had dine in options.

This has become my #1 taco spot in KC and if you are looking for authentic street tacos, come here! My mom wanted to stop by since this taco spot recently opened up a seated area so instead of ordering at their "pick up" window, you can finally eat here. Now this taco place is in a rougher neighborhood but I feel like with some of the best places in town, you kinda have to venture out. If you do not feel comfortable driving here, opt for just ordering to go. I ordered the classic asada (steak) burrito so I can compare it to most Mexican spots here in KC and I would have to say that this place takes the number one spot for tacos and burritos. The burrito is packed with onion, cilantro, your choice of meat, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, rice, and beans.. and these burritos are massive! I was only able to eat one half of mine. I took a bite of the burrito and was throughly impressed, I feel as though a lot of places tend to be pretty greasy but this place gets it right. The varieties of salsa that are offered are also very very good. (Green salsa was my favorite) Honorable mention goes to the Horchata beverage I had. (Not overly sweet, hit the spot). The service here is super quick, only took about 5 minutes to get our food and there isn't a whole lot of staff here. Ambiance is... fine. But I care much more about the quality of the food rather than the ambiance. *This place is CASH only!! *Street parking is pretty much what you'll need to settle for. *Order to go if you do not feel comfortable visiting this part of town.
