Service at the store in Lafayette, CO was horrible! I waited in a drive through line of five vehicles for over 20-minutes! The best part was when we finally pulled up to the window to see social hour amongst the employees. I also watched several cars drive away because they were sick of waiting - loosing business because the wait was so long. Not sure if we will go back, they need to learn how to run a FAST-food business. PS: I wrote this review after I received my receipt at the window and before I was handed my food! Don't waste your money. This location is a complete disappointment and doesn't even deserve 1 Star. My fiancé and I have expressed our concern to corporate about this location a few times from staff incompetence to poor food quality. Nothings changed. We stopped going to this location for a long time and we decided to go tonight. The food was beyond bland and we paid for extras that we didn't receive. It's the worst Taco Bell we've ever had. Such a disappointment considering that Taco Bell has so much potential. This location needs to strive for better..much, much better. Well after 2 years I got hungry for Taco Bell again. I went today to Taco Bell and was again incredibly disappointed. I know there are good Taco Bells around this is not one of them. I had the combo to chalupas and a taco and everything was cold to the point of hard grease on the hamburger mixture. The flatbread was so tough I don't know how many times that have been microwaved but that's what it seems like. This is the worst Taco Bell ever. I ordered six taco and they all fell apart due to being soggy. They had made them up beforehand and who knows how long they had been sitting on top of a metal frame in kitchen area. They were so gross; I threw them all away. I should have taken them all back but live a distance from the restaurant. I will call the manager. This happened at about 2:00 p.m. on October 8, 2017. I thought the Taco Bell in South Longmont was bad until I moved to Lafayette. The slowest service on a consistent basis. Every once in a while I FORGET how bad Taco Bell is and drive over. Almost every time I have gone through the drive-through my order has been wrong. More often than not I have "stomach/bowel issues" that night or all of the next day. Saturday night, October 29, 9:00pm: had that urge to really mess up my stomach so I drove over to Taco Bell. I entered the drive-through and was surprised that there was not a long line. After a few minutes of waiting to order, a woman came onto the speaker and said," A car broke down in the drive-through so you have to go inside." I had a car behind me by then. I asked the mystery voice "There is a car behind me. Why didn't you block the drive-through off? What am I supposed to do?" The mystery voice said, "Do what you gotta do." I do not understand how this place is still in business. A simple order, a taco and a drink, place not crowded....I heard every name called the entire 20 minutes I waited for that taco. Every name that is except mine. I finally went up to the counter and all the staff was back there socializing. I said to them: "Did you forget my order?" Food was terrible! After three attempts to order our food at the drive-through speaker phone, they still managed to not get our order correct. They even asked us again when we pulled up to pay. As I go to write this review tonight, I can't help but notice this location is getting low reviews all around. Yet nothing seems to be getting done about it. Well I can tell you that after I am done writing this review I will be going to their website survey and letting them know what I think, and after the experience I had at this location tonight I want to contact the district management and let them know I think there is something DEEPLY wrong with this location and it's employees. Now for my terrible experience: We pull into the drive thru at 4:45pm, it didn't look very busy but was active. Upon being greeted we hear two voices at once delivering the same greeting, one male and one female. Well this was odd but okay... We said we needed just a moment, and decided what we wanted. As we proceeded to order our food, the two voices turned to one female and she very rudely told us that there would be a 15 minutes wait. We asked if it was due to the chicken we ordered or just in general? She said no, just in general. My husband and I looked at each other very puzzled, why was she being so short? How about an explanation for this long wait in a fast food drive thru?? Why NOT tell us this upon greeting us??? This is dinner time for goodness sake, what is going on here? By this point, there were three cars ahead of us and a car behind us so there was no turning around and leaving. We ordered our food, during which time the transaction only got worse. These employees were so rude, and pushy and snarky sounding. The lack of sincerity in their 'apology' for the wait and inconvenience was the end all. We ended up driving right on thru, never in my life have I done anything like that..But never in my life have I received such terrible service!!!! Now I can tell you with personal experience in fast food, that this was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! There is no adequate reason that you should be telling your drive thru customers there is a 15 minute wait, with even the longest order that car should be parked and business should resume as usual. It was like these employees didn't care about their jobs AT ALL. I called the store to get the name of the manager ANDREW on duty tonight who I hope will take some responsibility and give a darn give excuse about this terrible service. Not one to make a bad review but got in the drive through, was told first that they were short staff so the wait was going to be 20 minutes, also told that they were out of beef and the freeze machine wasn't working. So got all chicken tacos and they were horrible. The chicken was dry, the tacos were cold and all the shells were stale. I ordered a Regular Baja blast and there was no carbonation and was completely watered down. No napkins or silverware for our food. Bad customer service. All around not happy and not going to this Taco Bell again. - it's a bummer cause I'm a huge Taco Bell fan and I've never had anything taste so horrible out of all the years I've gotten it. read more
