Great ambience! We had fast service and the food and drinks were top notch. Can be a big crowded inside, but the drinks are unique and the food was excellent

Wow wow wow! I was impressed with the food and craft cocktails - also the price point was very nice. For starters two of us shared the charcuterie for one and the cracker pizza substituting bacon for the pepperoni - both were SO good. The board had a salami and Parmesano , candied pecans, the raspberry jam was so good, olives and watermelon. The pizza was light and delicious- there was leftovers to take home as we didn't want to get too full before our dinner arrived. I got the chicken thighs and I'm not lying when I say this, this has probably been my favorite chicken dish I've ever had while dining out. I absolutely loved the sauce of the chicken with the sweetness of the candied pecans really did it for me, not to mention the buttery polenta - yum! This dish was not too sweet though. I tried my friends Caesar salad and YUM! A Caesar salad is my favorite salad but this salad was better because of all the extra toppings instead of just parm and croutons. I typically try to order a Caesar everywhere I go to taste their dressing - I would come back here just to order the Caesar and extra dressing to use at home. We sat on the patio, the atmosphere was great. Our server Quan was very polite, prompt, and bussed our table appropriately always with a smile. I would come back for the craft cocktails too, there is so many to try. I will keep this place on my list to revisit soon. Loved all of it!

We are in Michigan on Holiday for the Holidays! On our way from Oxford, family house, to Detroit, friend's house, we stopped in Bitter Tom's Distillery for a midday libation and snack. Small downtown area of Lake Orion is quaint. Bitter Tom's was toasty toasty inside and had a sleek yet welcoming atmosphere. Our Bartender was quick on the spot with menus and options. Our cocktails were exactly what both of us desired: A strong Espresso Martini and a soul warming Canadian Coffee! The rueben egg rolls were crispy and succulent, clearly made in house and a perfect snack! The attention put into this simply delicious appetizer was greatly appreciated. Thank you Bitter Tom's for a great midday reprieve from the chilly day and stress of the holidays!

Excellent, friendly service; manager stopped by too to check on us. Great ambiance; modern, a lot of natural light, vaulted ceilings, spacious; overlooks creek. New American-fusion menu, including vegan options. Cocktails and mixology forward; interesting bar menu, highlighting bourbon and whiskey items. Planning to return for their advertised HH menu M-F 2-5 to check out those crafted drinks and other menu options. Expected more corned beef than sauerkraut in the egg rolls. Will return for the Caesar; ample toppings and perfectly dressed. Loved the Brussel Sprouts; good caramelization, seasoning, and tangy mustard aioli. We were wowed. They earned their 5 stars.

Seated on the outdoor patio - the tables and chairs are much too small for a group of 4 with drinks, apps and dinner. Very nice view of the water. The server was great except that she put the order in all at the same time so our apps unfortunately came out with dinner. The $7 happy hour cosmos were delicious - made with their citrus vodka and I heard the cranberry juice is even homemade. I had a hard time choosing what to order, but landed on the BOB burger really because I wanted the melted cheese curds. I upgraded to the truffle fries and although they were good, I don't think they're worth the $5 upcharge making my burger and fries cost a large $21. I'd like to come back and explore the menu more - especially during happy hour. Maybe by then they'll also add some happy hour food options as well. Street parking appeared to be free.

Anytime we go here it's a strange experience. The bartender was visibly hungover (I never got my Bloody Mary, but truly did not need it) The food is good, but service is always pretty spotty. It wasn't busy (three tables including ourselves, as it was a Sunday morning). The spinach dip is incredible (creamy; feta heaven). I got a hot chicken sandwich with about 421 tater tots (not complaint, just observation) *see photo- this was my leftovers.

Diverse menu, quality ingredients. I didn't have any drinks. The location is somewhat upscale, inside of a new building

Ordered carry-out. Miso Cod was spectacular!! Tender and juicy with a nice, crusty breading that tasted of soy and ginger. Delicious!

We originally got seated inside but thought it was a bit loud with the music and chatter among patrons. It was also colder inside than outside, they seemed to have their air running. So bring a jacket just in case We tried the breadsticks-an absolute must in our book! They were delicious! Hubby got the Cajun chicken pasta and I got the chicken piccata with noodles (noodles or smashed potatoes were the choice). Hubby really liked the Cajun chicken. It definitely had some good spice to it. I thought both my chicken and his chicken was dry to the bone. The flavor of my piccata was fine but I've had better. I will definitely go back, but I will be avoiding any chicken dishes as it was just too dry. The green beans that came with my dinner were nice and tender (my favorite thing on the plate). The pasta is homemade which is cool. I thought my spaghetti was a little spongy but fine. Hubby enjoyed his linguine over my spaghetti noodles. Had the beignets with mixed berry sauce for dessert. Nice, soft and pillowy. These are not super sweet (I'm used to beignets that are super coated in powder sugar, these are lightly dusted). But a solid dessert nonetheless. Waitress was very attentive which was nice (I noticed that all of them in our area were attentive). Took until the end to get a smile but she was fine and did a good job. Great menu and so many good looking choices, would recommend a visit.

They do have a lot of options for the filling here too, like grilled chicken, steak mushroom cheese (my 2nd choice, maybe next time), even grilled vegetable or cod! I am glad I stayed, I was actually in the process of walking out at about 10 pm because, even though the sign says seat yourself, there was no one who acknowledged or approached me at my booth for a good 10 minutes. I finally found the waiter seating a table at the outdoor patio, and I actually went up to him (with an apology for interrupting lol) and asked if he could come find me when he was done because I had been here a while! As my waiter, he was super nice and accomodating, so I don't know why he was not monitoring tables but, that is what I took away a star for. It is a dim sports bar but I like that there are 2 areas, there was live music in the bar area, and a separate quieter area on the other side. Now that the performance is over, the sound for the football game is in the bar area but there is no sound on the giant tv's in this area, which I totally appreciate! Over all I would stop by again if I'm in the area, but ignore the Seat Yourself sign and wander around until you find a server! PS Ummm just paid and the machine auto starts your tip option at 25%, with the other options being 22 and 20, so for a bar where a lot of people might be drunk checking out, that seems very sneaky and manipulative, I did not like that...

We reside in Sterling Heights, by Lakeside Mall, where we are surrounded by lots of delicious restaurant options but we decided to explore the Oxford/Lapeer area and stopped at this Marios for a bite to eat. The prices are a bit on the high side but you certainly get what you pay for. The food is homemade and served at the proper temperature. I ordered the French Onion soup and loved it. The cheese atop the soup was smooth and not chewy. The broth, onions and even the croutons were cooked to perfection for this type of soup...ate/drank every bit of it. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and they were the best I have ever tasted. They were crispy and perfectly salted on the outside and soft/steamy on the inside...perfection! Mom had the country omelet. Mom had ice tea and I had coffee - our bill was $44.00 after tipping; a lot of $ in my opinion for two people to have brunch.
