    Chicken Noodle

I love everything about this place!! just recently moved a few months ago right by it and decided to check it out today since i was feeling under the weather. I bought the chicken noodle, chicken lemon rice, and a cold clam chowder to warm up later. All which came with bread and a spoon! The lady was very sweet and in my opinion priced so nicely!!! will definitely be getting my soup from here more often:)

It's directly behind the Taco Bell, but the two parking lots do not connect.

I believe this used to be Revere's Mexican Food, which we unfortunately never got to try. We didn't want to make the same mistake with Professor Soups, so we stopped in for lunch. It happened to be Valentine's Day, so they gave us a pair of mini cupcakes, which was a sweet (pun intended) gesture. I like the atmosphere - a friendly cook in the back, what I gathered to be her husband in the front, and an employee who was waiting on the other guest. They all seemed friendly and I got the impression that they were happy to be able to share their homemade soup with their Lake Orion neighbors. We enjoyed the creamy garlic chicken - it could easily have been an orgy of salt and heavy cream, but they used a lot of restraint. It was tasty without making you think you had a bowl of alfredo sauce. My wife says she would have preferred chicken chunks to the shredded chicken, and who am I to argue. The chili was a straightforward tomato beef chili. I would have preferred a bit spicier, but most people probably wouldn't. The heat was decent, enough to make my nose run. The soup comes with bread rolls, which was a perfect compliment and prevents you from having a purely liquid lunch. Don't expect a sit-down experience. There are two very small high-top tables and no seats: they are still in pandemic take-out-only mode. We took our soup and ate in the car. Quick note: the parking lot, despite being directly behind the Taco Bell, can't be accessed from the Taco Bell parking lot. We had to go back onto Lapeer to get in. They have approximately 20 soups available at any time, though only half are heated and ready to eat. The remaining are in a refrigerated case for taking home. We're quite excited to try the African peanut, which we took from the case. They also had chicken pot pies at the moment, which looked excellent. But aside from that, don't go in expecting there to be salads, sandwiches, etc. This is a soup place. And surprisingly enough, a soup place that doesn't rely on swamping your taste buds with salt. Thank you!

I thought the soups were excellent and we took several types home to try. A bit pricy but in todays world I guess everything is a bit high.

We reside in Sterling Heights, by Lakeside Mall, where we are surrounded by lots of delicious restaurant options but we decided to explore the Oxford/Lapeer area and stopped at this Marios for a bite to eat. The prices are a bit on the high side but you certainly get what you pay for. The food is homemade and served at the proper temperature. I ordered the French Onion soup and loved it. The cheese atop the soup was smooth and not chewy. The broth, onions and even the croutons were cooked to perfection for this type of soup...ate/drank every bit of it. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and they were the best I have ever tasted. They were crispy and perfectly salted on the outside and soft/steamy on the inside...perfection! Mom had the country omelet. Mom had ice tea and I had coffee - our bill was $44.00 after tipping; a lot of $ in my opinion for two people to have brunch. The inside is very cozy with booths, tables and stools as sitting options. There are a couple of tv's with one or two of them NOT turned to sports...PTL and thank you. The service was excellent! Our server was very patient, knowledgeable and kind. My 86 yr mom has Parkinson's making her voice soft, decision making a challenge and often cranky because she misses her old self. Our server was very accommodating with my mom and with me as I can be running on a thin edge most of the time, lol. We loved it and hope to return soon.

Starting with the chips and salsa, the chips had kind of an odd taste to it but I did like the texture and the salsa was very good. I asked for a hotter salsa and when they asked me medium hot or hot hot, I got the hot hot and believe me it was green, thick and burning hot. I ordered the big California burrito with shrimp, and if you look at my picture, this burrito was enormous and was smothered in cheese. My friend got the Mexicano large burrito and his was the same size as mine but a third of it was covered in red sauce. A third was covered in the white cheese and a third was covered in a green sauce. He said it was very delicious. Although my food was very delicious, it was different than I was expecting so that's why I only gave it three stars not because of the taste but because of my expectations and because I wasn't impressed with the chips. They are open seven days a week, which is very reasonable and we actually showed up on New Year's Day which they had normal hours that day Naturally from the size of my large burrito, I had to bring about half of it home and it is very delicious as a leftover, which I'm eating as I'm writing this
