This location constantly asking customers to round up donations. Being asked every single visit becomes extremely annoying, especially when it's a multi-million-dollar company pushing customers to give more on top of what they're already paying. I've rounded up many times before, but I've started noticing a pattern that doesn't sit right with me. Whenever I choose not to round up, suddenly parts of my order are missing, I get a drink with no ice, or something else is wrong with my order. Meanwhile, when I do round up, everything seems fine. Maybe it's a coincidence, but this has happened enough times for me to notice and question it. I'm still paying for my food ,it's not free. Customers should receive the same service and accuracy regardless of whether they choose to donate or not. Nobody should feel pressured or punished for declining to round up their change. This needs to stop because it creates a bad experience and leaves customers wondering why their order quality seems tied to whether they donate. read more

This location definitely has its ups and downs. It is the better taco bell in Madera, but my recent visit had some obvious problems. The food however was very good, and I definitely received my moneys worth. First off, there was no one at the counter. It was lunch time on a Saturday and I only noticed 3 persons working the building. I stood there for a while waiting to give my order. I was given no greeting, and the gal on window definitely saw me. I was simply ignored. I decided to use the self service to place my order, though I remember it not working on a past visit. I was correct, their self service likes to decline your card and apple pay, rendering it worthless. My previous visit was months ago, meaning they take no pride in their devices or interest in repairing them. Finally I was acknowledged by a line member, who then took my order. She was kind, albeit a little hard of hearing. I then wandered over to get my beverage and the station was disgusting. Covered in dirt and soda. The floor had wet floor signs out as if it had been recently cleaned, but clearly the beverage station was ignored. (See Photo) I know the lobby is supposed to be serviced hourly, this means they are clearly deviating from policy. The only good thing about this location was the food was well loaded with filling and toppings. It was almost as good as getting what you order in the advertised pictures! Me and my son had one of the new $5 nacho boxes earlier in the day that we purchased from the Taco Bell on Howard Rd and it was just so good! So later in the day I picked up my daughter and told her that she needed to try them. So a couple weeks ago I rated this place very low because their food was sloppily put together and did not contain many ingredients. However that changed. After my rating the store manager actually called me and offered a gift card. I turned it down and just asked for them to improve the quality of food. I went there tonight and had four tacos and they were very good. Somebody working tonight actually took the time to make a very good taco. I definitely got my moneys worth tonight. So I stopped by this place for a quick bite before returning to work from my half-hour lunch break. I only wanted two bean burritos; "Simple," one would think. Apparently not. One by one, three other people came in behind me, made their orders, and received their food. All the orders were much more complex than two bean burritos, but there I was, waiting. I asked one of the people behind the counter about my order. She simply looked at their order screen and walked away without saying anything. I waited longer, as more people came in and made and received their orders. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I stopped another person behind the counter and asked why it was taking 20 minutes for two bean burritos; she just looked at me, turned away, and said nothing.
