They make dine in customers use a kiosk. Cashiers prioritize drive thru customers, and make dine in customers use a kiosk. I used a kiosk, and I could not customize my order. They helped about 3 drive thru customers on the amount of time I struggled to use the kiosk. If they have time to tell me to use a kiosk and talk to their coworkers, they have time to take a dine in customer's order. They even forgot some food in my order all said and done. This is truly pathetic. Customer service is non-existent in this establishment. Sigh. Goodbye Taco Bell. read more

My 2-star rating says I'm not pleased! I ordered for 4 people on the app, and due to my current medical status, the wife drove to the store to pick it up. They gave her the pickup order and when she got home is when we realized that none of the items were properly marked. We had to unroll all of the burritos to determine which was which. The only items we could distinguish were the potato soft taco and the 2 combo meals. And on top of that, we didn't get the drinks included with the combos or any taco sauce! All my wife knew was to pick up the order from the app. To me, it's the staff who needs to verify the order before handing it over. If you're blessed and you happen to get a lady named "Georgia", you can just relax. She's so welcoming and kindhearted, I just Love her! Being treated with courtesy & kindness goes a long-way with me. I know (from experience) the difference a good person just being themselves, can absolutely make in somebody's day. I've got no idea what happened during my second & most recent visit to this location...and it's safe to say I won't be coming back even as often as I find myself in Mesquite for work. I went in during my lunch hour on a Monday hoping for some nachos bell grande & found myself also ordering a Mexican pizza. Granted, I skipped the meat on both of my items and had black beans placed in. I quickly sat down when I received my order ready to dig in. The order didn't APPEAR to look spoiled...but after my first chip with black beans, I was confused as to what was making it taste so sour and expired. For a good moment, I thought it was just my taste buds, so I took a bite of the Mexican pizza...and the SAME THING. I may have taken 5 - 6 more bites of the nachos before I used deductive reasoning and figured that the beans were DEFINITELY expired and/or spoiled. I threw the food away. My review is solely based on the food that I received. It has nothing to do with how the service was. It is very simple - you must order using the kiosks because for the most part, they now refuse to take my order's personally. Been going to this Taco Bell every time we are in Mesquite. Nice place, clean and convenient parking. Food is as expected. Just a warning that they never seem to have enough cash on hand and we are often asked to pay with card or with exact change. Not sure what the problem seems to be but come on, it's a national chain store. Yesterday, they didn't have enough dollar bills! Worst Taco Bell experience of my life! My wife used the Taco Bell app to place and pay for our order. I went in to pick up the order and was told my presence was a health code violation and ordered to leave. Curious event since I am fully vaccinated and the CDC says not only can I go where I want, but also don't need a mask to go there. But this is not a political commentary but an indictment of the poor service I received. No attempt to offer a solution. Just a "you can't be in here." My retort, "Fine. I'll walk around to the drive up window." "You can't do that either sir! " Good grief. "Do you even have my order done? " "No we don't" was the reply. "We don't have it and we don't participate in that app." What!? Warning! This Taco Bell doesn't participate in the official Taco Bell app program. I find that astounding. When I asked how to get my money refunded they said it should happen automatically within 24 hours. Somehow I don't believe them. This franchise should be closed. Horrible experience at this location...it was rush time from travelers on the road returning from Thanksgiving trips, and the workers appeared to not be doing anything. We were waiting in the drive through line for nearly 30 minutes and when we got to the window we could see three of the workers standing by the window joking around and shooting glares at us and laughing at us. Even if something major was broken causing this extreme delay, they didn't say anything. They did give us a coupon for a free taco in the bag, but the wait time and attitude was ridiculous. I was immediately impressed with the updated style and new paint job, and was equally impressed with the inside cleanliness. Our cashier was kind and got our orders right with ease. What makes the real difference though was that our meals were high quality compared to other taco bells. Specifically, the tortillas were warm and fresh and the ingredients were tasty and fresh. But on 7/11/18, I changed my mind. My husband and I went inside restaurant to order dinner to go. Was waited on by Duncan T (name on receipt) We ordered and was asked for a name. My husband didn't hear him ask as he is hard of hearing. I answered and told Duncan T "my husband doesn't hear well." He actually rolled his eyes at me! I told him that was very rude, and he asked if I would like to talk to his manager. I said no but your very rude. As we were waiting, I overheard him saying she's the one in the striped shirt. As I was the only female standing there, and I did have a striped shirt on, I went to the counter. "Manager" asked if he could help me. I told him what had happened and that his employee was very rude. "Manager" told me he couldn't have his employees harassed!!! I said excuse me, but he was rude and I was NOT harassing him. As I was talking to "manager", Duncan T was standing there, hands on hips, rolling his eyes and grimacing a nasty smile at me! I asked the "manager" if he was seeing any of this? Not once did he look at Duncan T. "Manager" apologized, handed me our food, and we left. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in my life!
