    Chilaquiles con chile verde

My cousin found this place instagram and we took the hour drive to try it. We come in and we're greeted by a sweet server who sat us and was kind. I wish I could remember his name but I don't I need to do better to get recognition where credit is due. The place had beautiful art on the walls and it was quiet but it added character. It was nice to be in a place where we can enjoy the music and conversation. Granted we got here when it opened and don't know if it gets packed later on. So anyways, we get seated and all the food choices sounded amazing and the three of us decided on our choices. We got chips and queso fundido (as an appetizer) which I never had before and when we got it it looked like it wasn't melted fully because you can still see the pieces of cheese but despite that it was fun to eat because it did have a nice cheese pull and the grilled peppers were not spicy but gave a nice heat/smokiness to it. The chorizo gave it the right amount of saltiness to the cheese. Now for the main dishes, I got the loaded fries with al pastor and all I have to say that was simply amazing! Everything worked well together and I can say I'll be getting that again. I also got the passion fruit agua fresca which also did not disappoint! It tasted amazing and refreshing after an hour drive to get there. My sister got the chilaquiles with green salsa and it did have a nice kick to it and it came with eggs and steak strips which combined together tasted great! My sister got the horchata drink and that too was delicious. It was fresh and you can taste the little bits of rice which you know it was freshly ground and not artificial. My cousin got the enchiladas de mole, which was also delicious. It had a subtle kick but not overpowering the flavor of the mole which was more on the savory with a little sweetness to it. The filling was chicken (you can choose chicken or cheese btw) and every bite had enough mole and filling so you never missed out! She also got the horchata drink as well. Overall we had a grand time and will make another trip here in the future to try other dishes they offer.

Eat here! Had the loaded nachos, usually you have to dig for cheese or meat but not here... loaded!!! And fresh and delicious. Great place to eat while Tesla charging

Don't let the outside fool you! Chile Poblano is the real deal. Looks pretty basic driving up (right next to a local gas station), but the food's legit. Everything from the burritos to the tacos tastes homemade. If you're passing through and need food, skip the chains and stop here instead.

Stopped by today and honestly loved it. The menudo hit the spot -- rich, comforting, and full of flavor. We also had the carne asada plate, cooked just right and super satisfying. Even the little things stood out, like how fresh the chips were. You can tell care goes into the food here. Definitely a place I'd come back to. Well decorated as well, just amazing

You know what they say, the best foods are connected to a gas station and this place falls into the category! My coworkers and I were recommended this place after working in Overton and were going to visit the Moapa Reservation. The seating area was fairly big, I really like the decor of the place too. The people running the restaurant were also very nice and welcoming. We were told that the chicken taquitos were a must because they were unique that they were rolled in a cactus tortillas so of course we had to try them out. I was surprised at how crunchy they were, but the chicken was dry in the outside. However, they were very filling since they came with 4 and it could've been an entree instead of an appetizer. I also got the carne asada plate which was also very good. The carne asada was seasoned deliciously and the rice and beans were also flavorful. The last thing I also enjoyed was their Passionfruit Agua Fresca. Oh my gosh, it was sooo good. Not to sweet either. I'm definitely coming back when we're back in the area.

A Hidden Gem Between Vegas and Zion! Chili Poblano was the perfect first stop on our girls' hiking trip from Las Vegas to Zion. The food was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and authentically Mexican. We loved the veggie fajitas, tacos, and especially the fresh guacamole and salsa. The service was warm and welcoming, and the bright, festive interior made the whole experience even more enjoyable. As a group of four women ready to kick off an adventure, we couldn't have asked for a better start. Highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through!

Was going to the Valley of Fire State Park and decided to drive a few extra miles on I-15 to this highly rated Mexican restaurant in Glendale (Exit 90). I was so glad I did! Homemade chips and warm salsa and dishes that had excellent flavor. The servers were friendly and helpful, the dining area was colorfully decorated and immaculately clean. We ordered the namesake "chili poblano," a specialty burro and the al pastor nachos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices were about $15 each. If you drive a tesla there is a supercharging station there, as well as a gas station and convenience story. A welcome respite!

Great authentic Mexican food! Went for lunch after visiting the Valley of Fire national park. The service was friendly, we sat at a booth and the food was served quickly. The server brought chips and red salsa. Then ordered the two carne asada taco combo which came with a green salsa. Ordered extra chips and salsa which was an additional $5 but worth it. The restaurant is located next to an AM PM gas station but don't be deterred, you will really like the food and the service!

Love this place very authentic food, excellent flavors staff offers genuine service and hospitality. The ambiance is great you feel like you're in Mexico and I was able to charge my Tesla out front with new high tech chargers. You must try the tacos, chips and salsa. I am eating here on the way to Vegas and on my return trip home. I tipped extra as they are doing an amazing job for such a remote location. Mucho Gracias!!!

Table of 2, traveling over memorial weekend on a Saturday around 1PM, not crowded, few tables full. Took a minute to be sat, was promptly greeted by the waitress. They have a decent size menu, mostly breakfast, but they almost any food you're craving they have, spaghetti, burgers. I ordered the chorizo skillet and the other guest a breakfast burrito. Like a few others have said, food is bland. We ate there traveling back from Vegas. We wanted to try local but you might be better off having something reliable like a chain restaurant throughout Mesquite. Or waiting the 1 hour n half for a spot in Vegas. Overall place is clean and workers were friendly, it was quicker, just the food is alright
