At 2:26 pm Friday sept 20th We decided to visit the famous chipotle. Two stars for the food, Because it was good. There were three employees visible at the time. The lady in the back cooking with the head cover (A). The lady who was preparing all the food and taking the order (B). The lady who was ringing customer's up (C). C. Was very nice and polite, She was asking for items to be cooked. And very apologetic when they did not have it. A. Was complaining saying that she doesn't have beans ready because the person before her left halfway through his shift. She was also slamming items down. B. Was just standing there, She definitely could have been cleaning the restroom. That was disgusting. Seven of the twelve tables were dirty with food all over the floor. That could have been done instead of standing around waiting. Management definitely needs to be around if one of them was not there. This ship definitely needs to be tightened up read more

Very understaffed. I went today, the two employees took about 5 minutes to make 3 tacos for a lady in front of the line. One of the employees had a runny nose as he was cutting some stake. I can clearly see his runny bugger was about to land on the lady's stake. And that's went I decided to leave. No thank you. How about hire some people that can do this job. If I can give this place a 0 stars I would. First of all, there was only 1 girl helping heat up tortillas, put proteins,toppings while the other 2 people (Yanira, and a guy with glasses and beard) horrible. Poor girl doing everything alone while these 2 people watching her doing nothing, there was no meat in the containers!! My burrito was literally a salad, no meat and paid full price for. When I asked Yanira why she was standing there not helping she said "the manager told her not to move" not only was she standing there when she handed me my cup she threw it and gave me attitude. Honestly, I don't like to leave reviews , if it's negative, BUT I think people should know and I don't think this even deserves one star First of all, it wasn't busy - actually, we were the only ones, when we walked in. Not a very welcoming greeting - generic "welcome" shouted out. Then when we walked up - abrupt "are you ready" - we haven't even looked at the menu. Such rude service & skimpy portions (to say the least) I got the steak salad - gristle & fatty, barely 1/2 scoop portions! And how do you even call it a "burrito" - my husband asked for carnitas - she didn't know what that was & when he asked for cilantro‍, she said she didn't have any but then he pointed behind her & she said it was for the tacos?! Oh and for the chips & guac (small ramekin of guac) and stale chips - WTF! ! Soda machine broken & the place was filthy - dirty everywhere!! trash overfilled, all dirty tables/floors -condiment area looks like it's never been wiped down (and yes, I had to grab napkins to wipe down the table & seats to dine)!! I have always loved Chipotle'. The food & the service but not this location. I went in a few weeks after they 1st opened & was disappointed by the lack of customer service, lackadaisical attitude & the food was warm at best. We chalked it up to new restaurant, new employees, they'll get it together. Over a year later we tried again. Clearly they had not gotten it together. Customer service & quality of food lacking. Food was warm not hot & the meat was dried out, There are reasons why you see 1 or 2 cars & a handful of people, regardless of days or hours. I don't understand. Customer Service is as important as the product. When both are lacking/substandard this location may not be around much longer. It's a shame because it's a good brand & an easy fix. read more

My wife and I were excited seeing this place come to town. Finally decided to get some for lunch. It was the skimpiest portions I have ever witnessed. Half a scoop of rice, barely any beans or protein didn't know Chipotle had a problem till I googled after. Not only that, my 2 skimpy burrito bowls cost nearly $30. An absolute ripoff. I can take 8$ across the highway and buy the rice, a can of beans, a single chicken breast, 1 avacado, and cheese at Walmart and make it myself. I ordered through DoorDash and the drivers are always great and timely.. I got my order today and the guacamole was brown and not fresh at all. We've been wanting to try Chipotle. Finally made it there. Store was empty, except for employees. It was 4pm. The place was filthy! Trash cans overflowing, tables dirty, food & trash on the floors. Extra disappointing cause there isn't another one around for over 60 miles, so you're stuck with this as your only option for chipotle. First their parking options is minimal, it's either the 3 spots on the side and their side door is not even available to enter through, only exit, and they have their pick up parking at the front... the 2 should be switched. It was nice that, We were told off the bat that they were out of cheese and corn salsa (not the first time -happens often), we contemplated leaving but decided to give it go. Ordered a steak burrito w/gauc and red salsa, and a chicken bowl with queso and red salsa. Both were extremely salty, overpowering both the flavor of our extra item purchases and The steak was burnt and dry. Drink options, besides the fountain drinks, were overly sweetened and so strong. Because it's the only chipotle in town is the only reason we kept giving them the numerous second chances.. but thinking we are done after this. Been here now twice and never again. Moved here and use to the proper portions and service we had for many years. Don't get that here. Better places in Mesquite to go to get what you pay. The portions are poor and they cover the skimpy portion with lettuce so you don't see. Then ask for dressing and told did not have and the last time it was like hot sauce and not as it should be. Food was stale and service was not up to par. I came from San diego and received what a Chipotle is supposed to be like and this isn't it. Appears that with their location they don't receive traffic and don't remake food or clean that well so it appears unattractive especially with employees that make you feel as if you interrupted their down time. I looked at the food, looked around the store and felt the vibe...both of us turned around and left and we're thankful we did. Good luck.
