Drive thru lady was rude as F*CK the date is 3/20/25 and whoever was working the window around 1:15pm. She rushed me. I tried to make sure TWICE that she got everything I ordered (which was literally three things) and she still said yes kept being rude and then when I got home I didn't even have two of the things I ordered. This location SUCKS. Ordered on the mobile app and went through the drive thru to pick it up. What I ordered: grilled cheese burrito, nacho fries, Doritos taco, Baja blast, side of chipotle sauce, side of spicy ranch, side of avocado ranch, and side of fire sauce. Order on the screen was correct when I checked in at the speaker. What I received: Baja blast, chicken quesadilla that wasn't even made right (did not have the sauce on it), regular hard shell taco, 2 sides of nacho cheese, and a side of guacamole. We ordered online for lunch from the Taco Bell website for pickup. When I arrived the lobby was locked so I had to go to the drive thru window. The staff stated they did not have any order for us. Upon return to the office confirmed the site stated the order was ready at that location and confirmed that a charge went through on the credit card we used, so a different person drove back over there to verify since we thought it might've just been a mistake and delayed. When she got to the window she was berated by the woman at the window and told they don't go by order numbers and that they didn't care what the verification we had said. Needless to say this was the worst possible experience and this location needs to get their crap figured out and stop insulting people who are just trying to ask for an order they were charged for. read more

I have always had good experiences at this location but this time, they completed messed up my order. I used the drive thru and while I was waiting for my food, there was another customer (who was not in a car) yelling that they messed up his order twice. I didn't think much of it and the girl at the window was pleasant enough but clearly that guy was not happy that they messed up his order. Fast forward 10 minutes later, I get my order and I get back to work and they messed up my order too. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and instead I got a cheese quesadilla. I pull up to the drive thru to not hear anyone great me, after 2 minutes of sitting there I said hello, get an answer of we're not taking orders unless it through the app.... Okay rude but I tell them I did order through the app. I pull up and I'm told to come inside. Come inside, the place hasn't been swept nothing's restocked, trash hasn't been taken out. Someone walking in and they apparently know her and start keke with her and her order is finish ASAP, in and out in 10 minutes..... Hmm.... Okay. Now it's getting close to 25-30 mins and dude sweeping ask is there something/ waiting for an order. Only person to say anything, inform him I've been waiting 30 minutes for my order and I find it in bad taste that they have 5 workers all I assume know how to was there hands and hope on the line to help there coworker who is alone making orders. Dude on the drive thru wanna pipe in his two cents, but not help. At this point I'm already seeing how this store is poorly ran and how they don't care about nothing. Dude on the line is making my food as were talking doesn't come out till 20minutes later. So again I end this feedback saying 2 combo boxes shouldn't take an hour, crew members need to help each other out and if they don't want to work clock out and go home, and saying sorry and listening to honest feedback will go a lot further than threatening someone because you don't like that they called you out for being lazy, unhelpful, and rude. I have to hand it to these guys; the location is a tough one, on the border of Marquette's campus, next to a fairly poor neighborhood near the Rescue Mission and near the Rave - and to top it all off, it is tucked away with not much space for even the drive-thru. Despite all this, I have always been greeted with cheerfulness, promptness and energy. The employees have to put up with loitering, sometimes even panhandlers, but they still manage to deliver a consistent and friendly service. It does have a small parking lot, and the drive thru, while a little tricky to drive in to is not bad. Service can be fast even if they are busy. Food is good ol' Taco Bell quality, which I just so happen to love (favorite food alert!). I highly recommend the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, with a Kickstart to drink... mmm. I rarely go inside, but the bathroom is adequately maintained. So, hats off to the employees holding this fort down, and think outside the bun! read more

It was pretty late after a concert at the Eagles Ballroom on Wisconsin Ave. I was fucking starving and so I thumbed through the phone book and called several pizza places. I couldn't find one that was open! Now, I pretty much loathe fast food, but in my drunken stupor, I begrugingly trudged across the street to Taco Bell to find that only the drive thru was open. Ok, so I stand in line with the cars and quickly learn that they would not serve me because I wasn't in a car. I asked if they would prefer that I go get my car from across the street and drive piss-drunk into their drive-thru menu. Assholes! So, I gave my money to a kind gentleman who was in line and he ordered food and he passed it to me from his car as I stood just past the drive-thru window. Thank you kind gentleman! Back at the hotel, I drank 3 more beers and ate my nasty-ass "food" that I of course had to drench in fire sauce to make it at all palatable! Now, that is saying something given that I was intoxicated. From now on, I pack sandwiches in a cooler when I road-trip and get drunk late night at a hotel. Fuck Taco Bell !!! read more

I got the BAJA BLAST FREEZE in the drive thru right after I left my divorce attorney's office. My divorce finalized and I entered a new world without my wife. However, I am certain that getting the Baja Blast's while still married could have ultimately saved my marriage. In fact after I ordered my Baja I was drinking it alone in my car as the rain pittered and pattered on my window. As Enough For You by Olivia Rodridgo played softly in the background. After drinking my first Baja I felt more alive than ever. I went in to order a second one as it was happy hour and they were only $1 ( A STEAL IF YOU ASK ME). The person in front of me was also ordering a Baja Blast freeze. They turned with the Baja in hand and looked at me. I felt Bajaflies in my stomach. I went up to order my Baja and they stepped next to me and offered to pay. I could not imagine this random act of kindness as I was partially broke because my ex wife took all my money. I declined their offer at first but they were persuasive. That was the first time my husband bought me a Baja Blast freeze and it wasn't the last. thank you for the finest service, the love of my life (the baja freeze), and for the nicest staff I have ever encountered except at ben's! I go way back with this place...I "lived" at the Ambassador Hotel way WAY back in 1988 for a month (yes, when good 'ol Dahmer was wandering through its' halls)... And I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED that this Taco Bell still stands!!! It sucked in 1988, got me sick a few times, and it STILL SUCKS. It is one of the nastiest places I've ever seen in what is a sort of nice neighborhood--you'd expect much better from a place mere blocks from the MU campus (or at least downtown). Oh, and if you're at the Ambassador STAY OUT of the equally crappy corner store on 24th Street...in fact...NOTHING in this neighborhood is worth it! I have been going to this Taco Bell for years and have not had any issues. They are really friendly and quick. Food is exactly the same as other Taco Bells.
