Well was in the mood for Taco Bell so did the mobile app order for drive thru pickup. That was easy but they sure were slow at the checkout window. Saw they only have one window and that person takes the orders, payment and gives out the food. Maybe that's one reason it was so slow. But we have been here before so we kind of expected the wait. What I wasn't expecting was getting the LARGE French fries and (look at the picture) it seemed that the contents were an extra small. Lol. Tried the Mexican pizza and that was pretty good. This TB sux. Ordered a box meal that comes with chips/nacho cheese and my cheese sauce was missing to dip my chips as well as in the burritos I ordered. This man had no idea what she ordered, took her receipt, and then straight up asked her "Have you ever had sex with a black man?" He said more, but that says it all. Worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. Would rather travel to Groton or Norwich if I'm craving Taco Bell. Multiple times of waiting 30+ minute(final straw was the other day waiting 50+ minutes getting ignored while countless walk ins got their orders before me) my partner and I placed mobile orders at the same time, they got theirs in like 10 minutes, mine took the 50 minutes. They will ignore you and then be completely passive at their own errors. Normally love Taco Bell and this location is wicked close; but it's not worth the frustration every time. This location is consistently late on providing take-out food. Particularly at night expect long delays for either pickup or drive thru. Quality of food is inconsistent. You can order the same item and each time it will be slightly different. The workers in the food prep area, always seems disorganized. Almost like there is no supervisor. This is my first time eating at a Taco Bell, and honestly I'm not really feeling it. The food is completely mediocre, skimpy on the ingredients which are actually somewhat decent quality. Service is slow, which I'm not going to knock the workers for because staffing is a decision of the franchise owner. Price is horrible. Cinnamon bites deserve a special mention for being miserable and disgusting. This location is trash, to put it bluntly. I've been here several times, and each visit has had something quite wrong. I've had multiple occasions of burnt (I mean completely black burnt) food, wrong orders, and incredibly long wait times. I've waited in the drive thru line with only one car ahead of me for 15 minutes on multiple occasions. Absolutely terrible on every account, across multiple visits. Thought it was just a fluke every time, so I've visited probably five times, but never will again. Avoid this place and go to the Groton Taco Bell instead. read more

Otherwise, the taste was less than desirable. 3 chicken chalupa supremes. 1 was almost petrified, completely inedible. 2nd was a little softer and all the sour cream was at 1 end. 3rd, just had difficulty putting it down. Ordered 2 crunchy taco supreme, 3 soft tacos, 3 chicken burritos, nachos, beans, and 3 drinks. Didn't get the nachos. Received only one drink and it was flat, had no ice and wasn't the correct drink anyway. The food was astonishingly bad. How can "taco" meat have no flavor? The young man working the counter (his name is George, I asked because his customer service was outstanding). After we ordered a group of guys walked in and were not very plesent towards him. If you go to Taco Bell in New London. Check their math before you pay. First they charged us $8 and change for 2 Burritos supremes and 6 plain tacos. The girl at the window then started to hand us drinks which we did not order. When we told her we didn't order them, she checked the order and said we owed her $22, which obviously was wrong and couldn't make her understand that we had already given her $8. The manager got involved and he was just as stupid because he said it should be $14. Again, he couldn't understand that we had already paid $8 and couldn't understand that we only owed the difference. After 15 minutes if this, we just gave him the balance of the change from a $20 that paid the original $8. It wasn't worth dealing any further with stupid people. Waffles and Thunder. In the middle of a hurricane I decided this might be the time to try Taco Bell breakfast. Could Taco Bell top McDonald's is the best breakfast in fast food?? I ordered the a.m. crunch wrap to start with. It's a smaller version of the p.m. crunch wrap which has beef lettuce cheese and tomatoes. A.m. version has eggs cheese and bacon bits and hash brown bits all ground-up and very evenly spread out. it was warm and delicious and the bacon was very tasty and not grizzly or hard to chew. Next I selected the waffle taco as crazy as that sounds. But to my surprise it was actually very very good. Once I got past the fact that it looked crazier than anything sounds, I took out the maple syrup that comes with it imported all over this breakfast taco. It's a corrugated waffle sthe ize of a pop tart in a half pipe that comes in a cardboard box. The waffle was loaded chock-a-block with melted cheese, egg , bacon bits and hash brown particles. mine was served warm. I poured the maple syrup over the Taco and tasted it. Quite possibly the worst Taco Bell in the area, and the worst one I've ever been to. The last two times going there solidified my resolve to never return and give them my business. First time, the chicken quesadilla I ordered was severely burnt. (My son ate it anyway.) Second time, they left out the very first thing that I ordered, even though I verified it on the screen, and of course I didn't realize it until I got home and wasn't about to drive all the way back. If you want good service, your food to order, and done right the first time, go to Moe's or Mi Casa. Both are far better alternatives. read more

I took my niece to taco bell (Groton, Ct) for lunch with some of her friends, they wanted to get 10-12 value menu items and share them. I gave her 20.00...She ordered 10 items ( well, she ordered 12, but had to take 2 of them off the order) and gave me $.11 back with a receipt for $19.89. The cashier told her they charge an additional $.65 PER value menu item...Taco Bell isn't paying their employees enough they are robbing the customers?????That was my last trip to Taco Bell...she didn't even get the correct items she ordered.
