I finally met up with a few friends--one who lives in the area--and we decided to try it. I'm really glad we did. One of my friends is a native Mexican and an excellent cook, and even she agreed the food tasted authentic. We ordered the huevos rancheros with green sauce, plus both the pork and chicken tamales. Nothing disappointed. The tamales were moist--something I appreciate since many places serve them too dry. The only small suggestion I'd make is for the staff to ask if we'd like extra sauce for the tamales, which would make them perfect. Others in our group tried tacos and tostadas and felt the portions were generous; delicious and the prices very fair. The décor gives you the feeling of a neighborhood spot in Mexico. It's not fancy, but it's warm and welcoming. There were a lot of takeout orders while we were there--and it was only 10 a.m.--with people from all backgrounds coming in and out. Clearly, they have a loyal customer base. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions.  She did a great job checking in often since we were there for hours.   I'm already looking forward to coming back.

The service is very friendly and attentive. There is no pressure to order right away and the margaritas are good so you can relax and enjoy time with friends or family. If you're looking for something reasonably priced with fairly quick service, then this is the place for you. However, there's certainly better tacos in the region.
