Went through the drive-through at Taco Bell that went quickly, which I was happy about that. But when we got home and opened our meal. I was disappointed that the tacos pretty much had nothing in them. They were lacking ingredients to the point where one taco we put it into another taco to make it an actual Thicc taco. While this rating is very poor, I kind of feel like in a way I'm to blame, because almost every time I've been here there's been something wrong, and I still come back, hoping it won't be. I asked for the two Chalupa with a taco combo meal which I believe is number one, but I want the Chalupa's with beef instead of chicken. The person that the Window asked me two or three times if I want a number one to which I said yes, but with beef. I drove up to the Window paid for my order - very nice young man - Icame to work, found out that I in fact, have two Chalupa's with chicken, which is not what I wanted, but I'm not surprised. It would be easy to blame the young man who was working the window, but this has been a very common occurrence over the last many years, so it's not the young man at the Window. It is absolutely the fault of the management or should I say lack of management. If somebody from Taco Bell is reading this, you need to completely change your management team at this restaurant - this particular store because they are doing you poorly. I walked in for my order and I had seen one of the managements getting mad at one of the coworkers who had just walked in, I had saw 2 other coworkers leaving without cleaning up their mess and leaving it to the coworker who had just Enter. Out of all the Taco Bell's in scv this location seems to always get my order right but with that being said quality is usually hit or miss depending on when you go. Food: food here is decent just depends on when you go. If I go during the day food is usually "fresh" but when I go at night it's almost always old tasting & soggy. This time around I tried their new cantina menu & food was pretty good however they were super stingy with the meat. From what Taco Bell advertises the new cantina items are supposed to have double the chicken & based off what I received this is false. My cantina items had barely any chicken which is sad considering how expensive their new menu is so I probably won't be ordering again. Location is easy to access & store upkeep is average. Service is friendly & fast. Ambiance is what you'd expect for any fast food restaurant lol Overall, one of the better locations in scv but at the same time don't expect anything special I mean it is just fast food after all. read more

Came here a couple weeks ago with my son since we were hungry and we were driving to Bakersfield had the worst experience with the drive-through cashier that couldn't even look this in the eye welcoming. Previous to the order I did ask no ice due to the fact that my son is sensitive with cold item drinks when I told the cashier I did ask for no eyes he couldn't even look in the eye and gave us water down drinks the fact that I called the next morning and spoke with Joey in the morning shift manager. He did explain to me without any worries that I could've gone in order whatever I wanted came through tonight and the night manager wanted to force give me something that he wanted not letting me choose what I want to top it off when I told him I don't want what he offered. He really replied so what do you want? Five free combos that's what pissed me off the most I really don't understand how this is. Ordered a veggie bowl - it had hardly any beans in it just mostly rice and lettuce, almost zero nutritional value whatsoever. Other Taco Bell's do a much better job. Went through the drive through, and the cashier there was very rude! I had ordered an item at the speaker, and when i pulled up to the window and checked the order, he forgot an item. so i told him about it, and he was like "oh i can't have you standing here" first off, i wasn't standing, i was in a car. then he said "you'll have to come back around for the item, i can't let you stay here" and i was like "i ordered an item, you didn't put it in" and he smirked at me and said "i don't recall you ordering that". i was also on the phone with my mother who heard me ordering the food. It was just very poorly handled, and he must need some extra training on customer service. read more

Late night lifesaver! Food came out fast, everything was fresh, and the Baja Blast hit just right. Can't go wrong with Taco Bell.

Bad bad and when you think it couldn't get worse it did!!! We were force to use the Kiosk to order, the restroom had no toilet paper, the sink had no soap. Then when I got some Dr Pepper the soda was completely flat. I just couldn't drink it so I poured it out and preceded to add ice, then the ice machine wasn't disbursing ice. So I went to the front counter which there is no one there at all I had to say "hello" 4-5 times before anyone comes and as I was trying to explain that they Dr Pepper is coming out flat the front lady just assume to needed ice because she knew the ice maker in lobby wasn't working, as I again tried to speak she interrupted me again and said I know I know the ice isn't working, I finally had to say excuse me let speak so I can explain. So I did explained that the soda is tasting flat. Finally i was able to informed them of the original issue. They need serious customer service, maintenance updates desperately. No apologies nor understanding from this place at all. read more

Honestly, for a fast food restaurant, this place isn't too terrible. Food is fine as long as you order their top sellers. I miss their chicken quesarito, but they discontinued that. They vastly improved the ambiance inside which is a huge PLUS for a fast food restaurant. So, a W for that. Service can be a hit or miss depending on the employees working there. The blonde girl with the tattoos is a jolly girl and is nice. She always laughs whenever I order food here. The food was Taco Bell so no complaints. But there was a Latina in her twenties with blonde hair, it looked like who forgot a couple items on my order, and had a bit of an attitude the first time I asked for my missing item, then when I noticed they forgot my hot sauce I went back up to ask for it and there was a line of unhelped guests waiting patiently. When I got her attention she threw her arms in like a tantrum annoyed way and it upset me a lot, I wouldn't have had to stop her from working window at 2:30 on Tuesday 12/10 (so you know who I'm talking about), I obviously felt bad for bothering her knowing she's busy, but her reaction really did upset me. If you're looking for Mexican food don't go here. They are over priced (so are all Del Tacos) and the service is slow. I just came from there and I waited five minutes at the front to be served but even though the employee knew I was waiting he focused all his attention on the drive thru. You can never go wrong with a Baja Blast Freeze especially during Happy Hour if you only get the regular size. But since when I went around 2pm and there was a long line, I got a large Baja Blast Freeze and a regular baja blast freeze. The drive thru is much easier than other locations on this one. The staff was very friendly and had my drink ready by the time we pulled up to the window. Everyone wore a mask, along with gloves and they put your receipt in a bin so there no hand to hand transfer. read more
