Carnitas and Fish Tacos and chips and guacamole.
    C J.

Wow what service! After ordering I sat down and the kind owner Gary brought me complimentary chips and guacamole, which was very generous of him. I ordered two tacos (carnitas and fish), which were more than enough for lunch (I had leftovers). The fish taco and carnitas were both so tasty. Despite Brick and Flour being in a nondescript location and a not-so-Mexican sounding name, the food was very authentic-tasting. The red and green salsas were perfect! The chips were also so fresh and lightly seasoned, and the guacamole was fresh and delicious. Anytime I'm driving through Santa Clarita, I will definitely beg and plead with my fellow sojourners to stop for a meal at Brick and Flour.

The food was delicious and the service was great! The guy at the front counter was very kind and helpful with our order. The breakfast tacos were SO good. Highly recommend.

This is a gem of a spot!!! Go In! Now. Buy the breakfast burrito, or have fish tacos, or have the surf and turf burrito with shrimp and carne asada with extra verde salsa. Any and all are some of their specialties that I guarantee are amazingly fresh and delicious every time. The staff there are chill too. Do yourself a favor and get extra fresh salsa, both orange habanero or verde tomatillo salsa. So fresh!

I just need for them to explain why they are always out of menu items. There has not been one time that we have come and they have had everything in their menu. If you can't keep the items needed take it off the menu. After crossing plains and oceans to be told sorry we ran out is crazy ! You ran out of a whole menu item and haven't restocked. Make it make sense. The location is fine. The design and theme fits the city and it's nice that they are more target towards the younger crowd so it can be a vibe . All in all I need for them to order enough for a week rather than a day .

    Meh Carne Asada Burritos

Sadly, this wasn't the flavorful Mexican food I was expecting. The burrito tasted more like a backyard carne asada someone threw together after realizing they forgot to marinate the meat. Honestly, my former coworker could probably make a better carne asada burrito in their backyard. For me, 3 Amigos has way more flavor and much better seasoning. Both restaurants have a similar suburban, predominantly White community vibe, but the Thousand Oaks location is on a whole different level when it comes to flavor. Maybe it's because they're closer to Oxnard... or maybe they just believe seasoning is an ingredient. Just my opinion and taste buds talking!

Asked a couple of local SCV friends and family if they had Brick and Flour and all of them, whether they had it or not, have said it was the best burritos in SCV or they heard it was the best in SCV. Located attached to a gas station building, Brick and Flour can easily be missed, even though it is it's own separate location. If you are coming from the east on Valencia Blvd, the turn doesn't take you in the parking lot/gas station, but onto the freeway so be careful. To cut to the chase, the fish tacos were phenomenal! I would definitely go back just for that. The house special burrito was also very good and was a good size. I shared half a burrito and a taco and was full. Service needed a bit of help. The person was friendly enough, more so utilitarian/neutral which I don't really mind. What knocked a star (and maybe should knock another one) is that they got one of our orders wrong entirely and we had to go back to get it corrected. The customer before us also had the wrong order but we didn't think to check our order, thinking what were the chances of getting it wrong back to back. So check our order before you leave. This isn't fast food and you are going to have to wait as they make it fresh to order. Ambiance is okay. It's clean and roomy enough to eat there but if you want ambiance, best to take it home or eat it elsewhere.

Quick stop off the freeway. This taco spot is attached to a gas station. It seemed popular, with people dining in and picking up orders. I tried the Diablo crispy chicken taco, which had good flavor and an unexpected sweet sauce. Also got the breakfast burrito with sausage. The rice was on the greasy side. Overall, an okay stop for a quick bite on the go.

This unique taco shop is nestled right next to a gas station and right off the 5 freeway. There isn't much parking but it wasn't overly busy when I was there. The menu contains tacos, burritos and bowls. Since it was first time there, the cashier explained it to me as if it were comparable to Chipotle. You choose your style (taco, burrito etc) and choose your protein. We ordered fish and chicken tacos. The flavor was great! And their soda machine has the small crushed ice (seems unimportant but for some, makes a difference!). The atmosphere and decor is local oriented as well as clean and inviting. We actually came here from a Facebook ad and we are glad we did. The only downfall is the pricing.

Came here after six flags. Served by Wolf. Super chill and nice guy, explained the menu well and was very sociable. He always asked about our needs, and any accommodations he can make. Overall place had a chill vibe. Carne Asada Fries were the best I've had, compared to any place I've went to in OC. Really can't stress how chill our server was!

Large Sunny Side up Carne Asada Beer Battered Fries

Came in after a pretty late Six Flags trip with a party of 8. Our server Andrew Wolf hooked us up! Quick service, extremely lax ambiance, and the cook(s) in the back made some really amazing food at such a late time. This is our second time dining with Brick & Flour, and we left both times healthily full and satiated. Thank you so much for the hospitality! You guys have to try the Carne Asada Fries!

I went to this place last Tuesday. I ordered myself Steak Tacos and my wife wanted fish tacos. I was trying to order fried corn shelled tacos, but they talked me into trying small taco sized flour tortilla grilled on the flat top for both types of tacos. I have to say, all the ingredients were fresh & tasty. The place is clean and staff is friendly. My complaint would be that the value for what you get is overpriced, but tasty. Steak Tacos were $5 each and not stuffed and fish tacos were $6 each. It gets 4 stars for the freshness, tastiness, cleanliness and good service. Respectfully, Taco Man Wedo!

Once seated, it was another 15 minutes to get our orders in. Once the food arrived, it was served hot as expected. My friend's chicken chipotle was delicious but my birria wasn't great. There wasn't much of it, and what was there was largely tasteless. I was given two tortillas which wasn't enough. Their salsa was outstanding though! I wanted more of that and practically drank it.
