Carnitas and Fish Tacos and chips and guacamole.
    C J.

Wow what service! After ordering I sat down and the kind owner Gary brought me complimentary chips and guacamole, which was very generous of him. I ordered two tacos (carnitas and fish), which were more than enough for lunch (I had leftovers). The fish taco and carnitas were both so tasty. Despite Brick and Flour being in a nondescript location and a not-so-Mexican sounding name, the food was very authentic-tasting. The red and green salsas were perfect! The chips were also so fresh and lightly seasoned, and the guacamole was fresh and delicious. Anytime I'm driving through Santa Clarita, I will definitely beg and plead with my fellow sojourners to stop for a meal at Brick and Flour.

I was surprised that this place was located by a gasoline station like it's part of the Circle K 76 gasoline station- super cute and clean spot too! Giving a 3.5 because food just didn't live up to the expectation, but it also could have been what we ordered. We ordered two tacos (philly cheesesteak and house special), crispy chicken burrito, and a drink. Horchata was very sour, tasted like yogurt was involved or perhaps it went bad. Burrito chicken pieces were kinda small in portion and a little dry. It was like popcorn chicken but minus flavor- tho with the green salsa I liked it, just not enough for it to stand alone. Taco meat was very flavorful. Flour tortilla was more chewy than expected. I liked it, husband didn't. Overall, wouldn't be mad if someone insisted we go here but wouldn't return on my own. Hospitality was ok- it almost felt like we were inconveniencing people. Ambiance was chill otherwise.

Asked a couple of local SCV friends and family if they had Brick and Flour and all of them, whether they had it or not, have said it was the best burritos in SCV or they heard it was the best in SCV. Located attached to a gas station building, Brick and Flour can easily be missed, even though it is it's own separate location. If you are coming from the east on Valencia Blvd, the turn doesn't take you in the parking lot/gas station, but onto the freeway so be careful. To cut to the chase, the fish tacos were phenomenal! I would definitely go back just for that. The house special burrito was also very good and was a good size. I shared half a burrito and a taco and was full. Service needed a bit of help. The person was friendly enough, more so utilitarian/neutral which I don't really mind. What knocked a star (and maybe should knock another one) is that they got one of our orders wrong entirely and we had to go back to get it corrected. The customer before us also had the wrong order but we didn't think to check our order, thinking what were the chances of getting it wrong back to back. So check our order before you leave. This isn't fast food and you are going to have to wait as they make it fresh to order. Ambiance is okay. It's clean and roomy enough to eat there but if you want ambiance, best to take it home or eat it elsewhere.

Quick stop off the freeway. This taco spot is attached to a gas station. It seemed popular, with people dining in and picking up orders. I tried the Diablo crispy chicken taco, which had good flavor and an unexpected sweet sauce. Also got the breakfast burrito with sausage. The rice was on the greasy side. Overall, an okay stop for a quick bite on the go.

This unique taco shop is nestled right next to a gas station and right off the 5 freeway. There isn't much parking but it wasn't overly busy when I was there. The menu contains tacos, burritos and bowls. Since it was first time there, the cashier explained it to me as if it were comparable to Chipotle. You choose your style (taco, burrito etc) and choose your protein. We ordered fish and chicken tacos. The flavor was great! And their soda machine has the small crushed ice (seems unimportant but for some, makes a difference!). The atmosphere and decor is local oriented as well as clean and inviting. We actually came here from a Facebook ad and we are glad we did. The only downfall is the pricing.

Dropped into Brick and Flour on our way back from LA recently, we were hungry but wanted to get out of the LA area first and Brick and Flour looked like a good spot. The staff was very friendly, we were greeted upon entering, offered suggestions and it did take a bit but they apologized for the wait saying they had gotten a large hit of online orders and the kitchen was backed up. I went for the diablo shrimp burrito and my mom had the Philly cheesesteak tacos. I enjoyed the burrito, it had several large shrimp in it and the steak was well cooked, nice and tender. It had great flavor and was a large burrito, more than enough to fill me up. My mom liked the tacos but said they were very spicy, she was sweating her way through them and didn't expect Philly Cheesesteak tacos to be so spicy. The chips and salsa was a bit of a letdown, the bag of chips was very large but the "salsa" was just a 4 ounce cup pico de gallo that wasn't great. It's not cheap either, for our 2 meals and the chips and salsa it was over $50 so be prepared. The food is good just pricy and I'd advise you to avoid the chips and salsa but it was still a mostly good experience.

Food was amazing!!! We had the carne asada, chicken, and spicy carne asada tacos. Phenomenal!! I would eat here daily if I could afford it. Thanks for the high quality food and service.

I went to this place last Tuesday. I ordered myself Steak Tacos and my wife wanted fish tacos. I was trying to order fried corn shelled tacos, but they talked me into trying small taco sized flour tortilla grilled on the flat top for both types of tacos. I have to say, all the ingredients were fresh & tasty. The place is clean and staff is friendly. My complaint would be that the value for what you get is overpriced, but tasty. Steak Tacos were $5 each and not stuffed and fish tacos were $6 each. It gets 4 stars for the freshness, tastiness, cleanliness and good service. Respectfully, Taco Man Wedo!
