Forcing a half blind veteran to come in and use the kiosk in order to eat his dinner that is just absolutely un-american and wrong and I hope your business fails until you decide to give service for the money that you're asking for the food. Food comes with service in most restaurants but you offer no service the quality of your food has gone down but yet your prices have gone up and you don't want to work for it

Not fast food at all. Took over 45 minutes to get food. Don't waste your time. Don't go here

The cashier didn't give my receipt so when I got my order half of it was missing so I went all the way back in line and waited five cars and then she didn't want to give me my food that I paid for because she kept my receipt when I got the food finally long story short it was absolutely disgusting wasn't what I ordered and the soda is carbonated and she said I was rude for telling her that she should try the drink then she would know simple task all I wanted was the food I pay for

They have a happy hour and a different special every day of the week. We went on a Wednesday and their Wednesday special is $5 Margaritas. I ordered one and Dan waited to taste mine before he decided. It was huge and it was sweet. It tasted a bit like Kool Aid. I ordered it on the rocks. That was a mistake. When I suspect a margarita might be sweet and have lots of artificial ingredients, I usually order it frozen. The ice mutes the sweetness. Dan got a beer after tasting my Margarita. I ordered my usual chili rellenos. The breading was much too thick. I took it off and ate the pepper. The refried beans had a good flavor and the rice was okay. Dan got a chicken quesadilla al a carte. I love that they have an al a carte menu. His quesadilla had a lot of chicken and not much cheese. The juice of the chicken filled his plate and made the bottom side of the tortilla soggy. The service was spotty. We had to do some waiting for the waiter. The decor and the music were both loud. They didn't have the volume turned up high. It is just the style of Mexican music that I consider loud. Our favorite Mexican restaurant plays Mexican music that I find classy. I enjoy it. Their Mexican art is also softer. That's a matter of taste.

I'm surprised the waiter didn't get knocked out by a kid flying out of the chair. The beef taste like absolutely nothing as-well which is a common occurrence I love Mexican and Pueblo is the only affordable place as of lately but I'm not sure it's worth it anymore. Overall I just felt like everything was making me lose my appetite.

Covered with a sprinkling of lettuce, tomatoes, grated cheese, and dab sour cream. A little guacamole and a few refried beans in it, would have made it a better taco salad. A "lunch special" for $9.75. That's a little pricey for what I got. Nice restaurant. Great service. The restaurant displays several "Best of" plaques at the entrance. Not my top pick for Mexican food in Sand Springs. On to the Bixby location. Heavy competition in that area. The $ amount isn't an issue if the food was amazing... but it wasn't. My wife and I had steak fajitas for 2, at $34. Steak was tough and flavorless, apparently lacking any seasoning. and not the sizzling heaping plate you would expect. This came with a side plate for each of us with bland flavorless beans, and equally unimpressive serving of bland rice, a TEASPOON of guac, a small dollop of sour cream and a pittance of shredded/ground cheese in a disposable cup -not even 1/2 filled .....seriously? The amount of guac and cheese was insulting...this entree was Priced way too high and did not deliver in flavor, quality or quantity! Lots of better choices all over the area for less money. Prices seem to be about 25%+ higher than comparable locations...and the quality and flavors aren't there for a premium price. My wife commented that "the flavors were suitable for a nursing home...it was all so bland."

Add "everything ," which means salsa, cilantro, onions, etc. to get the full flavor. The chunks of meat in the steak tacos are chopped more finely than at some other places, which gets them a higher score. It's easier to eat and not so chewy. The family running the restaurant has always been warm and friendly, and I've been eating here for many years. Be patient as a long line can appear suddenly. You'll be rewarded in the end with a delicious plate of food though, and they have 6-8 flavors of aquas frescas, which have become a new favorite thing for me. But, it was difficult for me to look past someone being extremely rude at the register. The ladies in the kitchen were super nice though! My burrito was mostly beans and lacking flavor for Al pastor meat. At nearly $11 it's tough to say this was a winner. Either way, the building was clean, plenty of seating, but sooo quiet. Definitely not your typical Mexican joint playing music with a joyful atmosphere.

I've heard of the highly lauded 918 Maples Tacos & Cantina many times since I moved back so I finally decided to try it on August 28th, 2025. Since then, I've experienced 918 Maples on different occasions and I'd say that it deserves the high praise. I've eaten at 918 Maples atleast 4 times, twice at the food truck (4931 S Union Ave.) and twice at this location. On 8/28, I arrived around 5:50pm. The walls are filled with color & different decorations, from murals to Latin-American art as well as TV's behind the bar for entertainment. The area is very home-like, compact, with just enough space for walking lanes. There's only one booth while the rest of the seating is either tables or at the bar. The host podium is at the door immediately upon entrance, I sat at the bar. Their menus are large but not overwhelming. On Tuesdays, tacos are $2 each. This doesn't include Birria, fish or Shrimp which are $3 or $4 on Tuesdays. My server was Diego, great guy! I ordered 5 Tacos: 2 Birria, 1 chicken 1 Carne Asada and 1 El Pastor. I also ordered a Paloma and a small queso. The meal comes with chips & Salsa, brought out immediately. Their chips are thicker and their salsa is mild. Add a little salt, good to go! I'm a fan of white queso but I particularly enjoyed theirs, worth the $2. The food came out within 10mins, not long at all. Two ramekins of salsa & 4 tacos. Each taco was amazing individually. The el pastor had crispy edges on the meat, the carne asada was soft & delicate while the birria was to DIE for. Only criticism is that the chicken was a little too salty but not terrible overall. As I mentioned, I ordered 5 tacos, queso & a Paloma but only received 4 tacos. I wasn't upset about the paloma, I could do without. But, I was a little uneasy about being shorted 1 taco, especially since I paid for 5. However, I didn't fret. I paid the bill & praised the staff because they deserve it! Since then, I've returned once or twice. Each time, usually on a Tuesday, the space is decently filled which a sign of a well-run & good quality establishment and the food is just as good. I consistently ordered tacos but I would gladly try their Queso Chicken, Rustic Quesadilla, or Birria Pizza. I've had their tacos at their food truck as well and, though the ambiance isn't comparable, the service is sweeter & the food is just as good. Bummer that their food truck doesn't do discounted tacos on Tuesdays. Photos here are from 8/26/25, 9/16/25 and 1/6/26. Had it not been for the forgotten taco, this would be a FULL 5-Star review!
