My brother got tacos that Cabeza , they looked delish!! My hubby got the Birria tacos and he loved them! He's a chef so he's picky, but they were very good! My 94 yr old dad asked for an enchilada combo so we asked if the sauce is very spicy and the cashier suggested she would put the sauce separately in a little container so he could taste it for himself, which I thought was a brilliant idea!. I had the taco and enchilada combo and it was very good. Their rice is very flavorful and their beans are definitely homemade! I'm Hispanic and I totally can tell the difference between canned beans and homemade beans! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! I've never been in this place when it was clean. Always trash, garbage and food on the floor. Never a clean table. It's one of those "Clean your own table with whatever you can find to wipe it down" type establishments. How this place passes Health Inspection, is a big mystery. Perry's is off the beaten path a bit, but there are big yellow signs guiding the way. The stand is on the front porch of house. There's a bell to ring for service. We ordered a Frybread with bean and cheese and an Indian taco. Both were really delicious. I did feel like this bread was thinner and crispier on the edges than I'm used to but the middle was soft and pillowy. The beans were a little on the bland side, but admittedly, I would have wanted hot sauce either way. Right now there are two picnic tables, which probably isn't enough seating when it's busy, but there's a plan to add more. I'm glad I got to patronize a small, indigenous and family-owned business that serves delicious food.

Note that they open at different hours than those listed on Google Maps and do not update the hours on Google when they are closed during the listed hours. They do post on their Facebook page when they open and are responsive to messages on there. They run this business from the back of their home. I got the fry bread with beans but got them as a side (Was charged same price of $6.50 for frybread with beans). They do not use lard in the frybread and do not use lard, chicken stock or beef broth in the beans. They surprisingly didn't know the word vegetarian and at first told me they don't make vegetarian food but the fry bread and beans were naturally vegetarian (and vegan) based on the ingredients they listed when I asked to clarify. Their Frybread is made with enriched bleached flour, baking soda and water. Beans are made with vegetable oil and salt. The beans were simple but good. We like them more after we added salt that was available on the condiment table. The condiment table had raw honey and various mainstream hot sauce (some hot sauces were past their expiration dates) They had a sink in the front which is useful after eating the honey. They have some tables in the front. Their home and business is located on the Fort Apache Reservation. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! Lots of cornhole available and they had a live band playing. My daughter got a hamburger, my son got the tacos, my wife got the brined chicken sandwich and I got the burger of the day with pineapple, bacon and jalapeños. We split an order of fries and all devoured our food. Service is always top notch. Appreciate all the beer options they have and we always save room for some ice cream from Red Barn. The House is definitely a must spot for our family!
