I ordered the Enchirito . I was so excited it was back . I went and found a little shade right outside the drive thru. I ate my lunch . I walked my dog . I was there at least 30 minutes . I drove home . I live at least 500 miles from there . A number of days from then I realized I haven't seen my one credit card for a while I looked at my bank statement for that card . The last thing charged was at Taco Bell in Soledad CA where I bought that enchirito. Also I noticed that there was a $38 charge from Taco Bell and then reversed. She didn't say a word about any error to my card . I called the store . Rang and rang . No answer. I have called Taco Bell Corporate 3 times . They tell me they will send an email to upper management and someone will get back to me . No one has gotten back to me not even a supervisor! I learned online that some stores are franchises . This store is. I contacted David Richard's who is the Director of Operations for this franchise . They own many locations and it is called T & K LP in Marina Ca. He has not returned my call. This is an issue lie that needs to be addressed! I know I am ultimately responsible for my credit card. But why won't they respond back. Also the worker had plenty of time to bring my card out to me . She could see my car from the drive thru and I was there a very long time . I'm sure she noticed she had my card after all that time. This concerns me. Lleaves a bad taste in my mouth . I don't think I will be going to Taco Bell again especially since no one will even call me back.!I know I have locked my card and will get a new one! Bottom line . Everyone be careful when you go anywhere. Tap the card if possible don't hand it to them . If you have to hand it to them be sure they give you your card back!! No accountability! Wrong ! Taco Bell conveniently located right off the 10,so made a pit stop for a small bite to eat. Walked in and the place was empty so the first thing that went through my mind was, great, Ill be out of here quickly. WRONG! All the employees were huddled up and I had to wait. A few minutes later one walked over and took my order and went back to the huddle. Waited and a few minutes later he shouts out to the employee in the back to make him a gordita. YOU HAD ONE JOB All I ordered was 1 gordita supreme. A simple 1 item order. Open the bag and only half of the gordita if filled. The other half is in the bottom of my bag, ugg. I didn't even want to waste my time and go back inside and have them make me another one so I just put it together as best I could and ate it. To top it off it wasn't even hot or warm it was cold. The restaurant is empty for a reason. the manger would not take my order. She said she could help me at the kiosk but it would have taken more time for her to walk around. We went through the drive through here and picked up chalupas, quesadillas and tacos...we were not expecting gourmet food and it was fine. I am also scarred with TB since I ate it a lot when I was in college and have had enough of it. Interesting new atmosphere; terrible service. We generally make it a point to avoid Taco Bell except for perhaps their drinks, which are often pretty good. I enjoy the Mango Fiesta drink and the slushes are usually good, too. We decided to order some via UberEats last night (since they were "closed" on DoorDash, and have been for at least a couple weeks now) and regretted it when we opened the bag. The food was just as we remembered - not all that great. The only semi-decent thing was the Doritos Locos taco, but even that would have been better had they remembered to add the sauce packets we ordered. I like their mild sauce. No, you can say I'm obsessed with their mild sauce. I can squeeze one of the packets directly into my mouth and be perfectly happy. Their food is sub-par without the sauce! It NEEDS the sauce to give it flavor. To be delivered an order without any is just unacceptable. The one thing this town's restaurants do consistently is disappoint their patrons. This one is no exception and I'd urge you to choose a different restaurant - perhaps one of the many Mexican places we have along Front Street, or perhaps Cocuyo's on Kidder St. They have decent prices, great service, and tasty food, unlike this knockoff with crap service and sub-par food. read more

Okay it's Taco Bell. You can't screw it up that bad can you? Well, the Soledad location never ceases to disappoint when it comes to achieving new lows for service and quality of the food itself. This is a trend that has been going on for years now, and my fairly recent trip seemed to be the worst of them all. I ordered a chalupa box, and when I opened it, I wasn't sure if I had gotten the right $5 box. The burrito was flattened to the point where it was practically a second lid for the box, the taco and chalupa were not just hanging halfway out of their wrappers but seemingly haphazardly tossed into the box from at least a mile away. Rather that's the only way I can make sense of the back of the box holding more ingredients than the taco shells themselves. I also asked for nachos instead of cinnamon twists, and ended up with a sea of chips in the box. This mishap turned out to be the best thing to happen because I no longer had a horrible mistake in a box- I had nachos that were poorly slapped together and a gooey tortilla frisbee covered in sour cream! TL;DR: If you want Taco Bell in the evenings, just go to the locations in Gonzales or King City; or really anywhere BUT Soledad. Every other one, even with the worst workers present, are FAR better. It seriously is worth going the extra mile lest you want to experience new levels of baffling disappointment. read more

I feel a little funny writing a review for Taco Bell, but I kid you not - this is the World's Happiest Taco Bell. Okay fine, I can only confidently say this is the best and happiest Taco Bell I have ever personally been to. Everyone knows Taco Bell is not a 5-star restaurant; but this place deserves 5 stars within its category. We stopped here during busy travel season - right before Christmas - when most employees at other establishments are (understandably) grouchy and impatient. All of the staff here were very friendly and seemed really happy to be there. There was evidence of good management all around - photos of the staff and managers, encouraging things on the employees' poster board behind the counter, local paintings hanging on the walls, etc.; and most importantly, smiling, friendly, engaging staff. It was super cool to see a Taco Bell with so many local touches, and with such happy staff. Because it was the holidays, they were really busy and took a while to get us our food - but with no prompting, they gave us complimentary cinnamon twists for our wait. I have seen other Taco Bells do this previously, but it didn't feel super necessary this time; it was just a nice gesture. The food was fine - it tasted like all other Taco Bell food. But when we left, we felt all warm and fuzzy inside. :) Good job, Taco Bell of Soledad! read more

I was reading reviews and they were pretty horrible so I was dreading coming here . this location was actually really great the guy in the drive thru was energetic & extremely nice . I always sub the meat in my orders so I know it gets annoying as the workers tend to get rude, but not him he replied with " ok sure " . Say what you want, this Taco Bell did not disappoint! If I'm at Taco Bell, it's usually a move of desperation on a long road trip, but I'd still rather eat a taco supreme than most other junk out there. Almost 6 years ago I worked in the Bay Area, but already lived down south, and would be driving down 6 hours on a Friday night, back Monday early morning. One of those nights I stopped at this Soledad Taco Bell, and had the absolute freshest taco supreme of my life! I'd never get excited about this stuff, just trying to get some sustenance down, but this time, the contrast of the freshly warm (warmest ever) beef, and absolute freshest, crispest, moist lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream almost made for a gourmet experience! I bragged to my husband over the phone right away, and would mention it occasionally when driving by Soledad. It was completely funny that a Taco Bell experience would stand out so much for me, I typically try my best to avoid junk food. Then, today, as we were driving by hungry, we pulled in on a whim, and had the same spectacular gourmet taco! The hot and cold contrasts was just delicious!!! Honestly I've gone to this taco bell personally thru drive and even order online to have it be picked up by my spouse, MANY TIMES in the evening with NO PROBLEM. The one time I get to the drive thru at around noon to order two steak and cheese burritos only ( which is usually four bucks for two when I order online.) she was trying to charge me 11 dollars for TWO burritos.
