usually, my comments here about the food being really good in the service severely lacking- today was quite the contrary in every sense To be honest, if the young man at the register, Giovanni was not so friendly and genuinely helpful and caring then I would've wrote a very different review. We like to come get some food from here on a Friday night when I absolutely don't feel like cooking after working a 10/11 hour shift we always get the same thing usually on Friday nights the wait is pretty long so if I remember, I'll order ahead but most the time I just order in person... I had went a week ago or so and the food wait was about 35 minutes It was about 25 minutes last night. I went into this location yesterday June Friday the 19th at about 8:45 to 915 I was greeted with a genuine smile from the young men at the front counter Giovanni. He had a super good personality. He was super friendly, and you could tell he was actually doing his job according to his training. What compelled me to write this review o this young man (Giovanni )definitely wet behind the ears as he seemed a little shy, but not shy as in lacking customer service just shy about providing such good customer service ... it made sense because while I was waiting for my food, I asked him if it was super busy and he said yes well actually this is my second day so it seems very busy. The fact that it was his second day and he was the friendliest person in the establishment is saying something about the team. But I'm not even gonna get too much into that besides just giving this young man his flowers . Because the young man that was calling people's names around that same time was horribly rude. He slammed my food on the counter at me and then when I asked for the pickles I had ordered he said they were in the bag when I got home, they were not. He looks super upset that I had asked for honey and ketchup . Usually they just put it in the bag so I don't know why he was upset that I asked, I was super frustrated and if the management cares, they should definitely research who is working as the food color yesterday and talk to him because I know I'm not the only one who noticed his attitude I would like to add -I do you think if you are going to prompt your credit card machine, to give a tip you should also have a tip jar for people that are paying cash that would like to tip the employees that way. I'm a tip in cash type of girly. The food was super lacking This experience. The noodles from the mac & cheese were very overdone and it just wasn't the normal stuff that you usually get here - there was about five french fries in my bowl and (surprisingly )overloaded with chicken. However, I ordered a rice plate that comes with two chicken tenders, and those were the saddest little tenders I ever seen shriveled up in that box. I wish I would've took pictures, but to be honest I was just over it by the time I got home. They should've put some of that chicken that was overflowing to compensate for the lack of french fries into that plate where those sad little strips were located. It wasn't horrible, but it just definitely wasn't the same and I know you can't hit it out of the park every time. Well, the honeymoon phase is over, but the food is still bangin. No more big backs lined up down the sidewalk, so the food comes faster. The restaurant itself is eating down quickly. The outside seating area was dirty and looked like the place has been there a decade. The service was surprisingly troubling... employees were calling names of people that had already been called and picked up their food, and looked frustrated and lost. This place has great service. Fast and efficient. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The food was great. I got a #3 slider and tender w medium heat. Chicken was juicy and tender and the coleslaw pairs well with the heat level. Seasoned fries were nice and hot. This place gets busy really fast too. Definitely recommend. read more

Frankie was great, he promptly welcomed us. The menu is clear and understandable. My boyfriend and I both ordered the combo #1, one in country and one in medium. Both came with two "sliders" and a side of fries. The sliders were giant (basically the size of a normal chicken sandwich). Fries were crunchy and yummy. And service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. Ambiance is great, lots of seating options both inside and outside. Good lighting. Music was kinda loud, making it difficult to hear orders being called out, BUT they played great music. (Shoutout to whoever was on aux). Wasn't sure what to get so decided on choosing something I haven't had in a while. Ended up getting the Angry Mac with a side of extra sauce. 16 almost 17$'s filled to the brim at that the lid kind of popped off with a little tug. Was expecting some sort of coleslaw but I clearly didn't read the menu right but was surprised with fries underneath. Pretty good nothing mind blowing or astonishing. I had to see what all of the hype was about! I came in during lunch rush and even after the store being open for a week, the line was out of the door, but it moved quickly. The indoor area is very spartan, with a couple of tvs playing sports on the wall. Staff did come by and clean every 10 minutes or so. As for the food itself, I ordered the number 3, which was a tender (hot) and a slider (medium) and fries with a drink. The hot seasoning took me out. Incredibly too hot. I couldn't finish it. The medium slider was great, and the potato bun was soft. I wish they toasted the bun. The fries have a kick of either the mild or medium seasoning. The sauce has that zaxby/chik-fil-a feel to it. Yesterday was our first time ordering online, didn't go well at first. Part of my order was wrong. Ordered the two sliders with fries, 1 slider mild with no coleslaw and pickles on the side. Other slider was medium with everything in it. When I picked it up and got home both sliders didn't have coleslaw and therefore there was no telling which was which. I called and was informed to take food and talk to the manager. The manager that was there was very kind and said I could get a refund or a fix in the order, which I preferred the latter. It didn't take long for them to fix it; took about 5 minutes max. While wait in the ambiance seemed pretty good, many people seemed to enjoy their food there along with good music. I did check the plate again before I got home and seemed in order. We really enjoyed our food. I wouldn't recommend ordering online if you have to make an order 'custom' or many fixes like we did. We really enjoy Angry Chickz even though it is expensive but it is good chicken in my opinion. I do have to say that it is better than Popeyes. read more

You can pick how hot you want your sauce to be, I picked medium and it seemed more like a mild to medium Fries are also included and by the time we were done eating I was glad it was over. I'm super excited that we finally got an angry chickz and was excited about the Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was creamy, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of cheesy goodness with a hint of spice. The portion size was generous, and it was packed. However, I did notice that there wasn't much chicken mixed in with the mac and cheese. This was a bit disappointing considering the name and my expectations for a chicken-focused restaurant. I understand they've recently opened, and they seemed to be handling a high volume of customers when I went. They use a dry rub for their hot chicken, not the liquid wet type they use in Louisiana. It's good though. Even a medium can be very hot, especially if you're not used to it. The fries are good, seasoned, and plentiful. Serve yourself soft drinks is always a welcome addition. Ordering the two sliders may have been a mistake. It's a massive amount of food. Enjoyed our first ever trip to Angry Chickz but will not be out last! Forgot to grab photos because we were so hungry but we enjoyed everything we ordered. French fries are crispy and well seasoned Mac and cheese was consistent and tasty We were cautious with the heat so went with mild, chicken was juicy and fresh with perfect seasoning. Love the Angry chickz sauce (I accidentally ordered too many, should have asked how many they include with the order then added extra) We appreciated how well staffed and organized the crew was. This location seems to be run by mostly young staff who don't appear to have much experience with customer service. I have no issue with younger employees; we all have to start somewhere but customer service training is definitely needed. I've had several negative experiences, including being ignored at the counter even when staff clearly saw me standing there. They looked at me and just turned around and pretended to grab utensils only to just put them back. Orders are frequently wrong, and on one occasion, I found hair in my food, on a separate ocassion the coleslaw also tasted old and spoiled. I gave this place a few chances because the chicken had good flavor and was juicy, but after getting my order wrong multiple times, I've decided not to return. I strongly recommend you check your order before eating it or walking out, if you ordered something to go. There's potential here, but the service and food quality really need improvement. read more

Mac and cheese has zero flavor and cold. Big disappointment. Way too expensive. Small container, didn't even eat all of it because the flavor is terrible. Reminds me of Mac and cheese from hospital. Fry's are so so. You need the dipping sauce to enjoy them. Crispy them up. Chicken is too expensive for the quality. Prices are high. I don't mind the prices if food is at a higher quality.
