This placed used to be an average Taco Bell. I don't know if it's new management or what but there's been a huge change. The food was ready quick, the order was accurate, and everything was fresh. Got asked to drive around the building and come back through the drive through. There was no customers behind me. When I inquired to why, the girl said because there is a sensor that tracks how long a car is waiting for their food and if the car sits for more than four minutes they will get in trouble with their manager. Ordered 5 chicken chipotle melt without the chipoltle sause for my kids, it had the sauce. Got old and soft crunchy tacos. This is is why fast food works don't deserve $15/hr. read more

So many times I have left a "share my experience" on their website hoping they would get it together. It didn't seem to help so here I am- maybe someone from Corporate will get embarrassed and pay attention: 1.The hot advertised item- Quesadilla crunch wrap-" Sorry we're out of crunchy shells". 2.Fountain soda machine in the lobby is " brixed for high yield( means watered down for more profit)". As a former Pepsi employee I find this sad and disturbing since the profit margin on soda is very high to begin with. 3.Service is slow with no attention to detail. When I asked for a fork and napkins thru the drive thru the cashier seemed irritated she had to walk a few steps to get them. When I asked about the soda water I was given she said " oh yeah, we know it's awful". 4. After ordering a second choice from the menu since they were out of taco shells( hello? It's in your name: Taco Bell) the food was unappealing and missing tomatoes( out of those too in the peak tomato season. If you go in the morning the ladies that are always there are very nice but any other time it's hit or miss with the customer service. A lot of the time when I go in the evening the wait is very long and you need to double check your order every time because they always forget something or it's just wrong all together. Your best bet is to go early when the morning crew is still there. The morning shift hasn't let me down yet! read more

It's 10 o'clock PM and it wasn't busy, the dining area is already closed at that time and there was 1 person at the speaker so I'm waiting......AND WAITING AND WAITING. it's about 5 minutes before I can get to the speaker, I order and I'm waiting to hear my total or for her to repeat my order AND IM WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING she finally tells me to full forward and I'm still behind just 1 car. It takes probably another 20 minutes before I get to the window. SERIOUSLY?!?! I finally pull up to the window and there's no one there to take my money for probably another couple minutes. How do you spell Taco Bell..S-L-O-W...at least at this location. If there is more than 3 or 4 cars in the drive thru it is almost always faster to park and go inside. The kitchen line always seems disorganized and one day I was there and they were actually yelling at each other in the back. I always feel bad for the poor cashier as she takes the brunt of it from the customers as they wait for their food. This location is also a KFC and I am amazed at how many times I've been there and they have been out of chicken and it will be a 20 minute wait until more is made. Poor Management! read more

We truly enjoyed the TACO BELL BREAKFAST! !! I know!....I was suprised too! I saw NO line at the drive thru.... I think everyone must've been at the competitions' windows.... BIG MISTAKE PEOPLE! !!! LOL.... so no worries....we pull up to CHEZ macs... the drive up has a long line....so I said that I would just run in & order a mocha coffee. ...Wow.... huge disappointment. just ordering one item.... and watched as orders were filled. ...flying out the kitchen.... but my order? IGNORED! FINALLY.... this old lady managed to flag down the person who looked the most organized at the front.... and asked if there was a problem with Order #___. he quickly turned to the cashier who had originally taken my order....and told her to fill my order! the lesson learned from that experience? Only do DRIVE UP at that particular House of Mac....where you get your order Before the next car can drive up...and maybe then you wont be ignored for about 5 -6 orders.... while you look around to see which employee is in charge of their coffee bar? the WORST location! if you have the patience to get to the speaker, and then to the window to pay, be prepared to sit at the window for an additional 45 minutes or longer for your food. the result of your order will be cold beef, chunks of dry chunky beans, and half of the contents of what is supposed to be in a burrito missing. you would think that the reason for your wait is that they are making food to order... I can tell you the quality of what you receive suggests otherwise. not sure exactly what the issue is, but I can only imagine someone is running a train on someone in the kitchen because they for sure are not making fresh food, nor are you given a heads up about subpar quality. even their sodas are anything but what you ask for. do yourself a favor and drive to the Taco Bell in Prince Frederick. fresh and delicious food EVERY time! corporate just needs to close this location and call it a day. read more
