customer service is horrible. they have gone to kiosk only ordering. no menu boards available. some of us do not choose to use kiosk and prefer to deal with a person. counter staff was rude. and did not care that a group of 5 that would have been a 40 plus dollar order left because they refused to take an order. there was no one in the restaurant so it wasn't like they were so busy they couldn't have helped us. Never had a problem with the good here (if I actually get my order) I drive from Newport near the Bogue side so it's not a quick trip. I drive here usually for breakfast. Twice I came and around 10am they were out of eggs. They serve breakfast until 11am, why are they out of eggs an hr early? Then today I come by and their internet is down so they can only take cash. I run across the street, take out money, come back and they tell me they can't accept my $100 bill. Lol ok you're only taking cash and you don't have change? Makes absolutely no sense since I showed up at 1045 and they have been open a few hrs. They don't have four 20s a 10 and a 5? So I run across the street again to the bank for a $20 bill...I come up to the window and they are giggling In the background. Wow. Like it's funny I had to drive up to their window 3xs. This part is about Taco Bell in general....back many years ago they had Meximelts and they were 85 cents. They have gone up..understandable but now they completely took them off the menu. So now if you order a cheesy roll up, add beef, add onion and tomatoes (cause they no longer have pico) you're spending $3.60 for what used to be one of their cheapest items back in the day. New update. So I had a really long hair in my food and when I called to let them know they didn't even offer to reimburse me. I know it's not mine because I have blonde and this one is a brown with reddish tint. Go figure I already took a couple bites before noticing. Old review I've never had any issues. I absolutely LOVE this Taco Bell. I stop here on my way home from work a lot and idk where you find your employees, but they're ALWAYS kind. I'm sure they get a little frustrated because I modify my order a ton (I switch out the meats and take off the dairy, add guac), but they've never shown it. Jamie L rang in our order. After ringing me out and me telling her I was having a hard time hearing her speak, she let me know she was sorry but sick. Then I had the pleasure of watching someone who openly stated she was sick preparing food without washing hands from the front counter to the food area. When I received my order, one meal was not rang in as a meal, but rather just the nachos individually. Instead of offering to fix the situation, she just told me she only rang in the nachos and stood there staring at me. Good times. read more

I have been coming to this Taco Bell location for a few years now simply because of the geographical convenience. That said, if I wanted a better experience I would drive farther in the opposite direction to Jacksonville. It isn't that the food isn't good, it's delicious! It's just... sometimes the service leaves a little to be desired. Most, MOST of the time they're stand-up customer service reps, but every once in a while I will come across someone who, for whatever reason, is rude or lacking in customer service skills. My most recent incident was when I ordered through the drive-thru, I handed Madyson K a $20 bill for my $10.37 order. When she went to return my change, she dropped 2 $1 bills and several pieces of change onto the ground between my car and the window. Usually this wouldn't upset me, as accidents do happen. However, her reaction, or lack thereof, is what upset me. I don't exactly know what procedures Taco Bell trains their employees to do in that situation, but I would like to think that standing there with a dumbfounded look on their face then turning around and walking away like it didn't happen isn't the procedure. Either way, I pulled off to the side, waited until the next customer received her order, then held traffic in line so that I could retrieve my change off of the ground, all the while as Madyson watched from her front-row seat at the drive-thru window, offering zero assistance. read more

Perfectly adequate Taco Bell at the corner of a small strip mall. Level of staffing seems right; enough to keep the place clean the line running. Bathroom was clean and had enough room to change from beach attire to something more comfortable for my three-hour drive home. read more

So we went to this Taco Bell Yesterday. I usually just go through the drive thru. But we decided to eat in. This place is so dirty, when you walk into the doors it smelled almost of urine. The place was somewhat busy, but people had a hard time trying to find tables to sit at. There were plenty of empty seats but the ones available were covered in food and drinks. One table had looked as though someone poured a drink all over it and their food. Non of the workers bothered coming out to clean any of the tables off. The floors also filthy. I didn't dare use the bathroom especially since the dining area was filthy can't imagine what the bathrooms looked like. The employees are nice and polite and our order was right... too bad it's such a mess inside. read more

I had a semi large order that I tried to place online for a company lunch, it wouldn't go through because this location doesn't accept online orders. I then called to put in the order so that it could be ready upon arrival and was informed they couldn't accept the order over the phone either (even though they have before). Ended up just driving there and ordering, essentially holding up the line for 10-15 minutes. Got the food back to work (5 minute drive) and it was absolutely terrible, the cheese quesadilla was more like a burnt tortilla without cheese and the chalupas were hard as rocks and ice cold. I definitely would not recommend going to this location for larger orders. read more
